- Expert Martial Artist: Shingen showed a surprisingly amount of skill in swordsmanship and unarmed combat for a man his age. With enough tempered strength and ability that he can hurl grown men through walls and rend steel with his bare hands. He was clad in a vibranium-Steel armor mesh.
- Master Swordsman: Shingen is an adept swordsmen of the highest caliber. So skilled is he in kendo, kenjutsu and the like; be able to crush bone and rend flesh with nothing more than a mere bokuto (Wooden Sword) Also sporting enhanced sword skill even without a blade, meshing fencing with his kenpo. Much like Kikyo he too can discharges vorpal shockwaves from his blade using chi.
