The sea mink (Neovison macrodon) is the largest mink to exist and the only extinct mustelid since prehistoric times. Sea minks were once extinct since 1894, but have since been brought back from extinction by SciiFii before reintroducing them back to the coasts of New England, and the minks are common in captivity, even in Cenozoic Park. They are slightly larger than American minks. The conservation status of the sea mink is Endangered due to historic poaching, however, thanks to strong conservation efforts, the sea minks have increased in numbers.
