Samurai Jack is an American action/adventure CGI animated series created by Man of Action Entertainment and produced by Cartoon Network and HBO Max. It is a re-imagining reboot of the 2002 animated series created by Genndy Tartakovsky and retells the story of Jack.
Premise
Centuries ago, in Feudal Japan, the land was tainted by a shapeless evil that came from the stars eons ago. A young samurai emperor was tasked to eliminate this threat with an elixir but the arrow's magic had inadvertently transformed the black mass into a shapeshifting demon Aku. The Emperor attacked Aku, but was no match for the Demon was immune his weapons. Aku then began destroying the kingdom while the Emperor was helpless to stop it. Just when he begun to lose all hope, the Emperor was freed by Sleipnir (a divine eight legged horse). The horse took the lord to a the highest peak a the mountain side, where he meets the monks gifting with mystical powers by the three gods Odin, Rama and Ra. The deities used the Emperors righteousness to forge an enchanted sword with great and powerful magic, capable of harming Aku. With the power of the sword and the hope of his people, he plunged into a fierce battle with Aku, whose was overwhelmed by the power of righteousness and used the sword to trap and imprison him in the wasteland in the form of a demonic tree within in abandoned temple. The Emperor had won and was overjoyed to see his family, but he knew that Aku would someday return to threaten the world once more.
Setting
The story centers on 16 year old boy named Jack, whose born from Japanese roya, who is the descendant of the Emperor that defeated Aku ancestor was given a enchanted sword by the three gods - Odin, Ra and Rama to defeat the evil shapeshifting demon Aku and imprison him. Centuries later, Aku was freed by Jack's disgruntled and antagonistic cousin Koga
