Synopsis[]

For millennia, the name of Gorr, the God Butcher, has been remembered by gods across the universe as a name synonymous with torture, death, and dismemberment. Many deities have perished gruesomely thanks to the handiwork of the God Butcher until the Asgardian thunder god, Thor, defeated him and denounced him as the God of Hypocrisy. The gods could finally rest peacefully, knowing that the God Butcher has died.

They were wrong.

In spite of his injuries, Gorr lives to fight another day, albeit weakened. No longer the destroyer he was, the Butcher was left with no purpose... until he was discovered by the enigmatic Kree: a godless race of militants who saw use of the former killer of divinities. He was used as a revered living weapon, respected by the Empire's greatest heroes.

It has been eight months since Gorr was adopted by the Kree, and the God Butcher has finally been given the permission to explore the universe by the Supreme Intelligence. For one who simply wishes to see the universe as it is without the intervention of gods, however, it is not long before the God Butcher returns to battle...

Main Characters[]

Gorr marvelre
Gorr is the protagonist of this series. An alien from a dead world who wields the first Symbiote in existence, known as All-Black the Necrosword, Gorr possesses incredible power and an insatiable thirst for the death of gods. Although he retains his blunt and sinister outlook on life, his power is not as great as it used to be. The scars of his genocidal crusade's failure remains to this day, but living among the Kree has made him a more somber and restrained figure. Nevertheless, he is still a peerless duelist and pessimistic misotheist. His lack of interaction with mortals makes him a rather awkward figure, not helped by his intimidating, gaunt figure and apparel.

Hala the accuser (earth-141412 marvelre)
Hala the Accuser is a renowned member of the Kree Accuser Corps and the unquestionable successor to the current Head Accuser, Ronan. Do not let her stoic nature deceive you. She is merciless in both conversations and battle, hiding her fierceness behind a calm demeanor. She is chosen as Gorr's companion during his stay with her race, both of their cold natures surprisingly complementing one another. There are no romantic relations between the two. Gorr lost his family and Hala dedicated her entire life to her race's survival, exchanging fertility for cosmic and cybernetic enhancements. Nevertheless, when Gorr is around, expect Hala to follow to keep a tight leash on him so he does not get into unneeded problems.

Matthewmalloy141412marvelre
A mutant with phenomenal reality-bending powers, Matthew Malloy distinguishes himself from his fellow Omega-level mutants by not being known by the greater mutant community. Before the X-Men's founding, Malloy was involved in some way with Professor X. Whatever happened between the two, they have never met each other for years and he has stayed low ever since then. Homeless and without a friend, little does he know that he will receive two new unorthodox friends and an adventure where his powers may actually be useful... or detrimental to the universe.
