Equus singularis (SciiFii)

The Russian giant horse (Equus singularis or Equus ferus singularis) is a species of wild horse and is one of the largest horses to have ever lived, weighing about 1 tonne, as big as the largest of the draft horses. Like all modern-styled horses, the Russian giant horse is a social herd-dwelling herbivore that lives as a grazer, being prey for many of the large predators of its environment. It is controversial whether or not the Russian giant horse is a different or same species as the domestic horse (Equus ferus caballus), due to its similar skeletal design and anatomy, so it may be Equus singularis if it is a completely different species, but it may instead be Equus ferus singularis if it's a same species, only being a different subspecies. The conservation status of the Russian giant hose is Vulnerable due to some habitat loss and historic poaching, however, the conservationists are protecting the Russian giant horse's natural habitat and have easily bred them in captivity, so the wild populations of Russian giant horses are making a comeback thanks to strong conservation efforts.
