Ryo Sanada (真田遼 Sanada Ryō) is a main protagonist of the series and the leader of the Ronin Warriors. He is known as Ryo of the Wildfire (Rekka no Ryo in the Japanese version). Ryo is the warrior of fire. He is also the holder of the legendary White Armor of Inferno (the Kikoutei in the Japanese version). His favorite color is red and he can control fire power after being trained by the Ancient One. His ability to breathe fire and shoot fireballs from his hands. Ryo is short-tempered and aggressive due to his firepower using energy to let out his rage. His mind is a mishap involving predatory mammals like tigers and wolves.

Animal Motif: Tigers or Wolves, which represent his fire element and Hot-Blooded personality. His tiger skills during the day and wolf skills during the night.
Animalistic Abilities: He has the ability to take on the abilities of about two different types of predators, such as a tiger's strength and roaring noise, or a wolf's hunting abilities and howling noise.

My God What Have I Done: In an enraged fit, Ryo destroys marble constructions here and there. Rowen tries to stop him, but Ryo was too angry to even listen, which resulted in him throwing Rowen near the constructions knocking him unconscious, making him realize how much of a jerk he was, not just to himself, but to his friends.
My Instincts Are Showing: In the episode “The Curse of the Werewolf”, he lets out his anger growling at them, his instincts are showing before turning into a werewolf.

Super Mode: The Inferno Armor is a massive upgrade in firepower over the Wildfire armor and is activated by merging with the other four armors. Ronin or Warlord, all it needs is four other armors.
Superpowered Evil Side: His deranged transformation into a demon "Diablo (Akuma)" when he was possessed by Emperor Talpa or is extremely angry for too long after he is covered in blood.
Surfer Dude: In the English dub, by virtue of him being voiced by Matt Hill, he even uses slang such as "that guy is really juiced!" to refer to Nether spirit empowerment.
Sword and Fist: He uses his twin katanas and fist once again.
