Rob the Robot: The Movie is an upcoming Canadian CGI-animated film that serves as the series finale to the TV show, Rob the Robot. It was released in Canada on July 3, 2017 and will be produced by Bron Studios, Jam Filled Toronto, Amberwood Entertainment, One Animation, and Paramount Pictures. In the US, it was released direct-to-video September 11, 2017 by Shout! Factory. The movie does have an different voice cast, while the series don't.

Plot

After the events of the TV show, Rob and TK are now the leaders of the Robot Galaxy, and their children are named Rob Jr. and TJ. Everyone live in peace... until the Dark Side arrive. Soon, the fate of the Robot Galaxy is in the robot's hands. With help from various master robots, Rob and his friends and a new girl named Mimi may have a chance to stop the Dark Side from destroying the Robot Galaxy.

Critical reception

The film received positive reviews from film critics and did very well at the Canadian Box Office. In the US, the DVD sales also went well too.
