Plot[]
Rob (Jesse Moss) and Clovis (Scott McNeil) discover a Monster (Michael Daingerfield) that lives in Cheery Swan Lake. Believing in his evil deeds, they are scared of him at first, but later on, they find him to be nice. Despite this, however, the monster is proof that Tyson Hogan II (Scott McNeil) is polluting the lake, and this fact created this monster. The Monster almost eats the book Huckleberry Finn, but Clovis stops him and says, "Stop! You almost ate Mark Twain! You don't eat books, that is a NO!" and the monster returns it to them as an apology, so they name him Mark Twain. Unfortunately for them, all of this commotion with the monster makes Rob forget that he was supposed to meet Jenny (Tabitha St. Germain) at Mr. Twisty's (Ron Halder). When he remembers this at the last minute, he runs to Twisty's as fast as he can using the quickest shortcuts that he knows. Once he gets there, Jenny is nowhere to be seen. He asks Mr. Twisty if he's seen her, and he says the she was here for a while and looked very upset, and then left with a guy who kept talking about his big plans for a dance. When Rob heard this, he knew that this guy was no one else but Josh Vimolmal (VIncent Tong), a snobby upper class man who wants Jenny. Meanwhile, Nelson (Richard Ian Cox) and the B.A. nerds (Dale Wilson, Terry Klassen, Samuel Vincent and Brian Drummond) are building a robot (Michael Adamthwaite) to kidnap Mark, but when they build the robot it acts like Nelson's babysitter.
Rob then rushes to the Disco City night club, where Josh and Jenny are working on the dance. He apologizes to Jenny there and she accepts his apology, but Josh cuts in and says that Rob is "just a stupid little kid." Rob, very angry now, says that he has proof that Tyson is evil and is polluting the lake. Josh then calls Rob a liar. Rob then invites them both to the report that is being held in front of Mr. Dini's (Lee Tockar) house about Mark and the pollution. Rob then leaves, but the picture of the monster falls out of his pocket without him knowing. Josh picks up the picture and realizes that Rob was telling the truth; he then calls Tyson, with whom he has connections to. At the reporting, Rob sees that a news reporters camera is inflatable. He then realizes that the news company is a fake, that it is supporting Tyson Hogan and trying to compensate the monster. Rob then has to tell everyone that there has been a mistake, Jenny gets mad at him, thinks that he is a liar and walks away with Josh.
That night, Tyson finds the boys with Mark and kidnaps the monster. The next morning, Rob knows that this is his last chance to save Mark. He goes to the school newspaper room, hoping to find Josh who can lead him to Tyson. Hoping he can asked Josh for help and he was going to swallow his pride for nothing because Josh wasn't going to help him. Josh isn't in the room, but Rob sees a newspaper article that says that Mr. Hogan and his men blast a monster to smitherines at a school dance. Rob is at first sad and believes that Mark has died, but he then realizes that the school dance isn't until tonight and this is what is being planned to happen so, Rob and Clovis call The Thompkins twins (Also voiced by Tong) to help. At the school dance, he has to make the biggest choice of his life, going after Jenny or saving Mark. When he does that, Tyson catches the quintet in front of Emerald Lake and starts to enslave them, but is stopped by Mrs. Dini (Ellen Kennedy). Katie (Also voiced by Tabitha St. Germain) arrives and forces her Dad off of the scene to defend her friends. Rob then finds Jenny in front of the woods and Rob tries to tell her he is in love with her but is interrupted by Mark. With the return of Mark and a copy of the newspaper Jenny sees that Rob had been telling her the truth all along and dumps Josh. Also, Clovis gives Mark the Huckleberry Finn book for something to eat in the lake and Mark also gives Rob a flower to give to Rover (Also played by Drummond) to which Rover comes running out of the woods into Mark's arms. The teens say goodbye to Mark; after Mark jumps back into the lake, Rob finally admits his feelings for Jenny and with tears of joy Jenny kisses him on the lips much to Rob's delight and Nelson almost becomes friends with Rob, but is interrupted by the robot. Rob starts dancing with Jenny and decides to take her on a date tomorrow while Clovis dances with Katie as the music continues in the background, ending the film.
