Revenge of Vexecutor: A Cluster Prime Story
Created by Travis "Wedge" Hawkins
Written by Wedge Hawkins
Based on My Life as a Teenage Robot/Escape From Cluster Prime by Rob Renzetti

Revenge of Vexecutor: A Cluster Prime Story is a work-in-progress science fantasy/thriller fanfiction project. It is a fan-made spinoff of the Nickelodeon original cartoon My Life as a Teenage Robot, and particularly, its 2005 special Escape From Cluster Prime.

Synopsis[]

Three years after the events of Escape from Cluster Prime, a despairing Vexus has returned to Cluster Prime in surrender, as the ousted queen begins to question her own actions and goals. Her would-be transformation, unfortunately, is cut short when she is possessed by a corrupt spirit.

This spirit turns out to be that of "the Persecutor", an enigmatic, superpowered Cluster bot responsible for creating the anti-human philosophy that would later be espoused by much of Cluster Prime. His attempt several millennia prior to take over the planet resulted in the monarch of the time ordering the creation of a special "platinum" power chip, used to seal the Persecutor's powerful malevolent spirit away deep within the core of Cluster Prime itself. However, by indirectly manipulating outside events from inside the planet, he has played the entire universe to his advantage for thousands of years.

Now facing catastrophe at the hands of a Persecutor-possessed Vexus (or "Vexecutor"), Queen Vega is forced to call on the help of her self-exiled brother, Prince Zentraeus, to find the platinum chip originally used to defeat the Persecutor. Vexecutor's gambits and exploits, however, may destroy the two before they can even begin to look...

Background[]

Revenge of Vexecutor was initially conceived as an original story idea in August 2018 by MLAATR fan and avid TV Tropes reader Travis "Wedge" Hawkins.

Rather than adapting the action-centric format of the original MLAATR series, Hawkins has stated that his vision for the fic can be better described as a plot-heavy thriller that contains bouts of action. A proponent of adding new elements to MLAATR in an effort to keep it fresh for both old and new audiences (as seen in this post), his idea is to write one large story that can captivate audiences in ways the series never attempted.
