Return of The Bad Guys is a stand-alone sequel video game based on the hit DreamWorks Animation and Illumination Entertainment film, "The Bad Guys". The game would use the exact same visuals as with the movie, and tells a completely new original story not contradicting with the events that will happen in future movie sequels.

GAMEPLAY[]

The game would be a spiritual successor to the "Sly" and "Grand Theft Auto" game franchises. Like the "Sly" series, there are open-world sandbox areas to explore, with character specific missions per heist. Before going into action, you'll choose which one of the members you'd like to play as. Like "Grand Theft Auto", if you destroy a stuff whether you're driving or on foot, a meter will rise to alert Police Chief Misty Luggins and her police squad. If you're caught, you must continue from your last checkpoint.

The story mode features 2-player split-screen co-op, allowing 1-2 players to play through the main story.

PLAYABLE CHARACTERS[]

Character Unique Abilities
Mr. Wolf
Mr. Snake
Mr. Piranha Mr. Piranha can swim underwater without losing oxygen. In some levels where he sings something to distract a number of civilians, you have to press the buttons that fly across the screen.
Mr. Shark As in the movie, Mr. Shark can wear different disguises to get into certain areas. Best of all, he can also wear the disguises he unlocked throughout the main story event if he's not on a mission. He too can breath underwater without losing oxygen, but since he's bigger than Mr. Piranha, he can bust through cracked walls and lift anchors. He can even bite through chains depending on which underwater missions have mines that could blow up and kill Mr. Shark and/or Mr. Piranha.
Ms. Tarantula As in the movie, Ms. Tarantula can hack through security systems. She can also shoot webs and walk on walls like a normal spider.
Diane Foxington/The Crimson Paw

GADGETS AND WEAPONS[]

Like the "Sly" sequels, some gadgets are free from the start. Others you'll have to purchase from Ms. Tarantula's laptop. Some gadgets and weapons can be used by most of the characters, others are character-specific.

Examples[]

Gadget Usage in-game
Grapple Gun Use it to either zip-line to a ceiling and make your escape, or use it to either swing across buildings or dangle down safely without making a sound.

(NOTE: Think of the mechanics of the grapple gun the same as Spider-Man's gameplay mechanics from "Spider-Man (2002 movie video game)" and Insomniac's "Spider-Man" combined.)

Smoke grenades Explosive grenades that fill an area with smoke, causing NPCs to fall asleep temporarily.
Lipstick flamethrower Useful for melting down metal walls, or cutting holes into them.
Gas Mask It is recommended you purchase this before acquiring any gas-related weapons. With smoke grenades for example, the players can't get past the fog without it.
Scuba Gear Can only be worn by Mr. Wolf and The Crimson Paw. The gear allows them both two breath underwater. Above water, they can swim, but underwater, they can't breath for long.
Jetpack Can only be worn by Mr. Wolf, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Shark, and The Crimson Paw. Allows characters flight mode, but with a gas meter limit.

CHEAT CODES[]

Similar to "Sly 2: Band of Thieves", there are hidden vaults with hidden cheat codes like unlimited fuel, unlimited ammo, or other goodies. To unlock these kinds of cheats, you'll need to find certain pages in each hub area to make a password Ms. Tarantula can punch in.

DLC[]

On the webpage where you can buy gadgets from on Ms. Tarantula's laptop, there's a DLC section that requires an internet connection to download DLC from either PS Store, Xbox Live, or Nintendo eShop (depending on which console version of this game you own).

Weapons based on Illumination's "Despicable Me" are purchasable, along with Minion disguises.
