Remy Rat is a funny animal cartoon character created by Michael Shires who first appeared in the 1928 MGM cartoon A Rat in the Corner. He was later incoporated in the Shiresland series. He is voiced by Junius Matthews from 1928 to 1978, then Stephen Fry since 1979.

He amongs to Ralph Tube.


  • His name was later given to the main character from Shires-Pixar film Ratatouille.
