Rede Geo e Marta was a Brazilian free-to-air television channel founded by Melissa Souza, a Brazilian YouTuber. The channel was established on September 21st, 1959. It derived its name from the popular science fiction comedy anime series "The Space Kids," featuring characters named Geo and Marta. However, Rede Geo e Marta faced controversy and was shut down on January 1st, 2001, due to issues surrounding a fake television channel that aimed to replace an existing defunct channel. It ultimately became known as Rede Space Kids.

The name "Geo and Marta" was inspired by the twins from "The Space Kids" series, who served as the channel's namesake.
