Regenerative Genetics Incorporated, Regenerative Genetic Technologies, or ReGen, is an American bioengineering start-up company founded by scientists Randall Herman and Michael Amstray. The company performs research with in vitro cell culture and as of 2006, research to create new flora and fauna as well as recreating extinct life, with the aim to expose them in some wildlife preserves, as well as theme parks.

Since 2013, ReGen has been a subsidiary of Garzonburger N.V. and is a rival to SciiFii.

In the late 20th century, the idea for ReGen arose from Randall's wife Susan Herman (nee. MacNelli). Susan deliberately claimed that there were animals being intentionally slaughtered for food. Dr. John Randall Herman as a result of his argument between him and her suddenly brainstormed the idea of creating meat artificially for fast food restaurants. Randall Herman set up a research group, including Dr. Amstray, to carry this dream into effect. They initially did research in the Alexander Hamilton Research facility in Norfolk, Nebraska. In 1996, Herman managed to attract enough investors to set up an entire corporation, dedicated to various genetic experiments; mainly experimenting with growing meat and vegetables in the lab for fast food restaurants. On May 15, 1998, Regenerative Genetic Technologies, Inc. (ReGen) was founded as a branch of the Amstray Research Corporation. At one point following ReGen's founding, Dr. Amstray managed to bioengineer Helianthus annus DNA to create Helianthus Spartacusii in June 1998. However, in the early 21st century, ReGen had more employees than any other non-profit scientific research organization since Biotech and its proposal for the Theodore Roosevelt Research Facility in Nevada in the late 1980's. It was also around this time that ReGen realized it wasn't able to get into the bandwagon of cultured meat until the early 2010's. It's goal was to be a Tyson Foods owned subsidiary and researcher of leading-edge genetic and biological science and technology until they were dethroned by SciiFii.

ReGen's headquarters were located in Detroit, Michigan, but the initial research took place in the Alexander Hamilton Research facility in Norfolk, Nebraska. Later, ReGen transferred most of its research to various other facilities in New Jersey, Texas, Iowa, and California.
