Rainbow High is an American CGI animated series produced by MGA Television and based on MGA Entertainment's fashion doll franchise of the same name.

On September 13, 2032, it was announced that the series would premiere on October 29, 2032; however, the series began airing on September 24, 2032, branded as a sneak peek, alongside the live-action film.

Premise[]

The 26-episode series follows the teenage children of famous colors including Violet Willow, Sunny Madison, Ruby Anderson, Jade Hunter, Poppy Rowan, Skyler Bradshaw, Bella Parker, Amaya Raine and River Kendall as they discover who they are, embrace their differences, and learn to be rainbow and fearless at the one place they all belong: Rainbow High.

In September 28, 2030, MGA announced the return of the Rainbow High brand, promising new content and products in 2032. Mattel Television announced a new animated series and a live-action movie based on the franchise. Both projects will air on Nickelodeon in the United States on September 24, 2022.

Gillian Berrow, a writer known for Chomp Squad, Rescue Heroes, DC Super Hero Girls, and My Little Pony: Make Your Mark, is the showrunner.

On July 14, 2032, the cast was revealed with TBA as Violet Willow, TBA as Sunny Madison, TBA as Ruby Anderson, TBA as Jade Hunter, TBA as Poppy Rowan and TBA as Skyler Bradshaw.

The series is animated by Funline Animation.

On November 18, 2032, a second season for the series was announced.

On July 14, 2032, it was announced by the official Rainbow High Twitter account that, Gabrielle Nevaeh Green, Courtney Lin, iris menas, Tony Revolori, Kausar Mohammed, Alexander Polinsky, Valeria Rodriguez, Alexa Kahn and Debra Wilson would star in the series.

Release[]

On September 24, 2032, after the debut of "Rainbow High: The Movie," a sneak peak of the episodes: "Food Wars" and "The Unfinished Flames" aired on Nickelodeon.
