The story is told by Four (BFB) and takes place at the Sledski Chocolate Factory where the employees work hard all day making chocolate bunnies on an assembly line. In celebration of selling their one-millionth chocolate bunny, Mrs. Nerene (Blanca Sledski) announces that for 30 minutes all employees may eat all the bunnies they want. While all other workers ravenously devour the chocolate, Sharon (Vigor Springley) convinces her friends Rachel (Velvet Bisket) and Benna (Cashmere Bisket) to abstain. Sharon emphasizes her stance by singing a lullaby called "Think of Me" that her mom taught her.
When Mrs. Nerene leaves her office to discover all the workers having stomachaches except for Rachel, Sharon, and Benna, the three are rewarded and promoted to Junior Executives. The following day, Mrs. Nerene calls the trio into her office and informs them that she has constructed a 10-foot high bunny which she intends to force all employees to sing the "Bunny Song" and bow down to. To whoever sings the lyrics, nothing in the world (such as health food and outdoor play) is more important than the bunny. Those refusing to prostrate before the statue will be considered "bad bunnies" and thrown into the factory's furnace.
Later, at the statue, the trio's silent protest at the song leads to a frustrated Mrs. Nerene ordering their incineration, which scares Petey Plumford. After attempting, but failing, to flee through the factory's ventilation system, an overtly angry Petey unplugs a pair of big arms holding his truck, which backfires when the truck dumps the trio into the furnace. As Mrs. Nerene gloats, Mr. Cat (from Kaeloo) sees four people (the trio and a shiny person) inside, none of whom are being incinerated. Shocked, Mrs. Nerene tells the trio to come out and they emerge from the furnace unscathed. Mrs. Nerene realizes that it was Dog who saved the trio and regrets her actions, apologizing for them with the trio forgiving her.
