Raccoonfolk (SciiFii)

The raccoonfolk (Procyonosapiens anthropus) is a species of procyonid mammal, most closely related to raccoons (Procyon lotor), that originally did not exist, but has since been created by SciiFii, most likely by scientists who were fans of Rocket Raccoon from the Marvel films. In general appearance, the raccoonfolk greatly resembles a raccoon, but has a more humanoid body plan, a primarily bipedal locomotion, more dexterous, primate-like hands, a slightly shorter muzzle, and a larger brain case, almost identical to the description of the fictional Rocket Raccoon character. On average, the male raccoonfolk has a height of 3.1 feet (0.95 meters) tall and weigh about 24 kilograms (55 lbs). The female is slightly smaller, but still similar in size. The raccoonfolk is an omnivore that feeds on a wide range of edible food sources, including man-made food. The raccoonfolk is a social animal that has a similar lifestyle to human species, including Homo sapiens, being a sapient animal that has many different cultures, language (including English), science, etc, also similarly to humans. The conservation status of the raccoonfolk is Least Concern due to successful conservation efforts, the raccoonfolk's wide range and its tolerance to many of the human activities, allowing it to be able to work and live with humans and other highly intelligent species.
