Plants Vs. Zombies The Movie is a 2024 CGI comedy film produced by Warner Bros., EA, and PopCap. It was made in celebration of the 15th anniversary of the popular Plants Vs. Zombies video game series, and the release of the fourth game, which will be the epic space odyssey that ends the series.

Brief Synopsis[]
Crazy Dave once worked with Dr. Zomboss and they had many failed projects. One of them being mutant plants. But Dr. Zomboss turned evil and Dave finally finds a use for their old mutant plants...
Full Plot[]
Crazy Dave once worked with Dr. Zomboss, formerly known as Edgar Zomboss. Together, they founded Bloom And Doom Seed Company and tried to get mutant plants out there, but many believed it to be unsafe. What made these mutant plant seeds possible? They sprayed the seeds with a special smoke called Toxic Waste Mist. Little did they know, that it can also turn humans... into zombies. Years later, Edgar accidentally sprays himself and turns on Dave. He took all of the Toxic Waste Mist to start a zombie revolution. However, he did not take the seed packets...
Now, Crazy Dave and his former companion, Dr. Zomboss are having a war of plants and zombies. On the lawn at daytime, Peashooter wants to prove to Tall-Nut that he is worthy of being the leader of the plants. Then, Peashooter single-handedly kills Buckethead Zombie, but no one sees and don't believe him when he tells them.
On the lawn at nighttime, Sunflower believes Peashooter and becomes attracted to him. Then, Peashooter saves Wall-Nut from a Newspaper Zombie. But Tall-Nut is not amused and just tells Peashooter he hasn't slain the "real" zombies yet. Meanwhile, Zomboss is preparing his ultimate weapon, The Zombot, capable of creating zombies inside of itself and making ice or fire balls.
Then, Dave and his plants go to the backyard to face off against the next batch of zombies. Here, Peashooter attempts to defeat a Gargantuar Zombie, but fails and is saved by Crazy Dave using his shovel. Then, Sunflower gets captured by The Bobsled Team and is brought to their leader, Zomboni. Then, Peashooter helps Squash and Tangle-Kelp fight off an army of Dolphin Rider Zombies. And right when Wall-Nut is about to die, Peashooter helps him with some Jack-In-The-Box Zombies, harassing him and exploding in his face. Then, he brings Wall-Nut to Crazy Dave to heal him.
Hours later, Crazy Dave has a pool party because he thinks Dr. Zomboss surrendered. But then, Dr. Zomboss brings out a Toxic Waste Mist machine to turn the guests into zombies! So Crazy Dave takes some of his now frozen plants out of the fridge to help slow down the swarm and kill some of them while Peashooter's not here. Meanwhile, Peashooter is trying to take down the Bobsled Zombies and their leader, Zomboni and rescue Sunflower.
Peashooter brings Sunflower back and they are left a note to report straight to the roof, where Zomboss wants to settle this once and for all. There, everyone is facing off an army of Gargantuar Zombies. So, Dave brings all of his explosive plants out and tells Tall-Nut and his friends to guard the plants and tells Wall-Nut to sit and watch for this one because he doesn't want him to get hurt again. Then, Tall-Nut dies and we get a very powerful moment. Furious, Peashooter starts killing Gargantuars like people hunting black-footed ferrets. Then, he announces that he will be the new leader of the plants.
And so, everything comes back around for the grand final battle and Dr. Zomboss finally takes out his Zombot that he had been working on. Then, the Zombot crushes Peashooter and Sunflower and Wall-Nut crowd around him. Peashooter wakes up, very weak and then Sunflower uses her powers to heal him. And the war continues. The Zombot then falls to the ground, Zomboss waves his white flag, and the day is saved. But then, the Zombot starts spraying out Toxic Waste Mist because Zomboss put the machine inside and forgot to take it out. Then, Dr. Zomboss turns back into his human form and the plants get more power. Dr. Zomboss apologizes to Crazy Dave for everything and they become friends again. And everything goes back the way it was... mostly.
