Pixels 2: The Modern Games is a 2020 science fiction action comedy film, and the sequel to the 2015 box-office flop Pixels. It was produced by Columbia Pictures and distributed by Sony Pictures. Combining computer-animated video game characters and special effects, the film stars Daniel Radcliffe, Simon Pegg, Emily Blunt, Luke Evans, and John Boyega. Pixels 2 follows another race of aliens who plan to avenge the classic arcade game aliens and invade the Earth, but this time, using technology inspired by modern games such as Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, Angry Birds, Flappy Bird, Assassin's Creed, Fortnite, Minecraft, Halo, Destiny, and Fallout.

It was released in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on August 12, 2020, and received mixed to positive reviews, with some critics calling it an "improvement over its predecessor".
