It would be released on PlayStation and PlayStation 2. It also would appear as a launch title on Nintendo GameCube and Xbox to coincide with the movie’s VHS and DVD releases.

ESRB RATING[]

Rated T

GAMEPLAY[]

The game is a 3D platformer. You play as Ozzie, Drix, or Thrax in certain levels that follow with the plot of the movie. As the title character, Osmosis Jones can stretch himself and shapeshift (ex. Jump through holes and cracks in walls). Drix can hover over lava pits (by Thrax) and use different forms of ammo from his arm cannon. And Thrax can fly with his trenchcoat and burn stuff with his claws. In his levels, you can cause massive destruction inside of Frank's body until the police chase after you and shoot you (similar to "Grand Theft Auto").

MULTIPLAYER[]

There are two split-screen multiplayer games that can be played.

  • Hot Pursuit (1-2 Players) - You need to race after the germs infecting Frank's body in a car chase. Don't let them get away.
  • Cops and Robbers (1-4 Players) - A 3D-platforming mini-game where one player is Ozzie or Drix, and another player is Thrax or one of his henchmen.

OTHER FEATURES[]

  • Clips from the movie play before certain levels.
  • Trailers for the movie in the "Extras" menu.

RESTORED CUT CONTENT FROM THE MOVIE[]

  • The Gonad's Gym sequence that was supposed to be in the movie, but was cut for being unsuitable for children, would be restored for the game, given its T-rating.
  • An in-game cutscene would show Mayor Phlegmming shedding a tear at the sight of the city's mass destruction, and sees two angry guards storm in to take him away. Mayor Phlegmming would willingly stick his hands out and let them carry him out of office.
  • In the final level, an in-game cutscene would reveal a syringe injecting Frank's old blood into his arm, thus allowing Ozzie to reunite with his lost family before the timed-level begins.
