Operation (or simply just "Operation: The Animated Series") would be a 2D flash-animated program by Hasbro (through Entertainment One) with distribution by Universal (DHX Media internationally). It would star Jack McBrayer as the voice of the titular character, Cavity Sam. The series would span for 2 seasons only, and it would be developed under the team that worked on "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" and "Littlest Pet Shop (2012)", with Daniel Ingram providing music and score for episodes of the series.
In Season 1, Cavity Sam was the main focus. In Season 2, Sam gets a dog named Rex-Ray, who becomes the main focus in some episodes.
