The concept of OmniAI emerged in early 2022, inspired by the growing influence of AI on the internet and the increasing demand for creative tools. Omni Corporation (Omni), CreativeAI, and Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) collaborated to develop a unified AI platform that also functions as a social networking service, aiming to create a space where users could generate, share, and collaborate on AI-powered content.

In December 2025, after YouTube deleted fake movie trailers using AI which are by Screen Culture and KH Studio, many users have been to re-upload the trailers.
