Oliver & Company 2: A Purrfect Love Story is a 2030 American animated musical adventure film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is a sequel to the 1988 Disney animated film Oliver & Company, which was loosely based on the Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist. Set 2-3 weeks after the events of the first film, the plot revolves around Oliver reuniting with Fagin and his gang of dogs and facing a new threat that desires to bring ruin to him and his family, namely additional figures of Sykes' inner-circle. Meanwhile, he meets Imogen, his romantic true love interest and soulmate.

Trivia[]
- Borrowing from animated sitcoms like The Simpsons, the time period has been updated from the late 1980s to the early 2030s, but the ages of the characters remain unchanged. This was done to avoid any complications from producing a sequel to a film produced over forty years ago.
- Many elements from Oliver Twist that were never adapted into Oliver & Company were incorporated into the sequel. Such as Oliver uttering the famous line "Please, sir, I want some more." and Monks being the main antagonist.
- Tom Hiddleston auditioned for the role of Monks, but was rejected due to the producers finding his performance too terrifying.
- While Jenny becoming fed up with her parents' constant absence is one of the main plot points of the film, (best shown when she has a furious outburst about how they seemingly don't care about her and breaks down crying afterwards) they themselves never show up in person until the ending. Their names are revealed to be George and Helen respectively.
