Plot[]
In the post-end-credits scene, Kevin and Spark make their debut appearances by showing code blocks from Scratch and connecting them all. Then, Spark hits the green flag button on the stage, which displays the message: 'Kevin & Friends is in Production! Coming 2029!

Production[]
On January 20, 2026, it was announced that a second film was in production, with the new parent company, Devsisters Corporation, and Fantawild Animation Inc. co-producing alongside Software Animation, KaiKai Enterprise, and Dentsu. Nicholas Perry would reprise his role as Crooked the FurryCat, with new guest star Emma Myers joining the cast.
On August 1, 2026, it was reported that the film would be released in theaters on November 15, 2027. In addition, Sony Pictures was announced as the domestic distributor, while Universal Pictures would serve as the international distributor. The film was directed by Nicholas Stoller and produced by John Cohen and Chris Meledandri. Stefan Ashton Frank, Ashleigh Ball, Lizzie Freeman, and Brittany Cox will return to voice their roles, with Keke Palmer, Lily James, Tim Robinson, Kate McKinnon, Jack Black, and Jeremy Shada joining the cast. additional Lil Nas X joined the cast.
Animation Services[]
Unlike DNEG Animation, which worked on the first film, the animation services for this one were provided by Sony Pictures Imageworks and Illumination Studio Paris. Some of the rendering closely resembles the hand-drawn CGI style of the previous movie.

The music score is by Patrick Doyle, who composed the music for previous DreamWorks Notebook of a Windows Kid movies. He is returning to score Notebook of a Windows Kid: The Movie 2. Additional Kenneth Burgomaster will joining the score
