Due to the announcement of Cuphead for the Nintendo Switch in addition to Microsoft and Nintendo making more collaborations with each other, Microsoft and Nintendo announced that Nintendo games will be releasing on Xbox One, with changes and exclusive features.
Some of the ports are even handled by some publishers as well (like Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for Kirby Star Allies, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and Mario Kart 8: Xbox One Edition, and SEGA for Super Mario Party and Tetris 99). It is currently unknown if the Miis will make an appearance (outside of ID Pictures) due to Xbox having avatars.
