Night Of The Monster is a 2020 3D horror game developed on the platform roblox. It serves as the first installment of the "Monsters" franchise, which recieved a 2023 novelization of the same name.

Plot Summary[]
A group of teenagers heard about the missing of their friend inside the Blacky Forest after her trip inside the place, decided to head in to find her. Unknown to them, terror awaits inside the woods, waiting for them to took the bait and eventually desends into the mist.

Originally, the game is pitched as the creator pointed his interests in horror, which leads to him making Night of the Monster. The game plot was never really important or much relevant, as he focused more on developing the gameplay much more. The game first build was released on around 2020, in the pademic period.
He design a simple forest and adds some black skies around it, a thing he found to be troublesome as the models kept on blocking one another. He asked his friends for the rights to use their avatars to act as in-game characters, and at the same time write a simple story for it.
Most of the monsters is free assests from the roblox marketplace, as he want them to be the main antagonists of the game. Eventually, the game was stopped updating in 2021, when he reveals that a remake is in development. Due to the lacks of updates, the game was results in being completely broken.
Hotfix[]
On 2023, he announced that he have fixed the key and added the specific fate for the two character he originally implemented in. The monster might be reworked on later on.

On 2023, he announced that he will be enchanting the old game graphic and enemies with a entirely new game. It was set to be in production after he went on to complete "Lakewood Massacre".
