Nickelodeon Rewind or more simply Nick Rewind is a channel that airs 24 hours a day. The channel shows reruns of 1990s and early, mid, and late 2000s children's programming, mostly shows that aired on Nickelodeon during their original runs. The channel's name comes from a collection of DVDs, clothing, a 2006 television block, and downloadable iTunes services.
History[]
Ever sence the block first premiered on TeenNick as The 90s Are All That, people wanted a full-length channel. for 4 years people put up petitions and Facebook committees for a classic Nickelodeon channel, and in late January 2015 Nickelodoen president Cyma Zarghami announced that on October 5, 2015 Nicktoons Network will shut down and be replaced by a 24 hour network of the then-timesharing TeenNick block: The 90s Are All That.
Many people speculated that the channel would only air programming from the 1990s, but around July 2015 Nickelodeeon said that the channel would air shows from the years 1990 - 2009. People were excited and more happy that Nicktoons Network would finally end its run.
