Behind The Screen of Nick Jr, the characters are under threat when Swiper The Fox from Dora The Explorer teams up with Sweetie and Copycat from PAW Patrol and The Troublemakers from Team Umizoomi to destroy Nick Jr.
In 2015, Swiper The Fox and The Troublemakers are sad that their shows are over, despite them being villains, so they attempt to sneak into episodes of PAW Patrol and Bubble Guppies, both very popular cartoons. The crew behind PAW Patrol manage to keep them out using a booby-trap system Rocky designed before arriving on the set to the episode "Pups Save An Adventure" but Bubble Guppies couldn't handle the team, therefore they had to cancel the show in 2016.
In November 2016, a show called Rusty Rivets arrived on Nick Jr, and that day, Dora The Explorer went to the premiere, but only to test out her booby-trap on Swiper and The Troublemakers. They are able to dodge the trap, and the team steal the booby-trap and travel to Cartoon Network to use the booby-trap to damage with the Regular Show USB that separates the show from continuing and being cancelled. If a USB of a show is plugged into the channel router, it is continuing, but if it is cancelled, the crew pull the USB out and store it in the Defunct Show Channel Locker (DSCL). As a result, the show ended in January 2017.
From then on, Swiper and the Troublemakers were clarified as wanted criminals on the loose who hid in the DSCL of PBS Kids. Meanwhile, Dora The Explorer and her friend Blaze from the cartoon Blaze And The Monster Machines were doing a daily routine where when Blaze goes on set, Dora would watch him. Swiper, after 178 episodes of dealing with her, is infuriated at the fact that the Blaze crew were letting her on the set to watch. Swiper tells The Troublemakers about the news, so they both issued a revenge plan to destroy Nick Jr. and replace it with an adult-only cartoon channel.
Two years later, many things have changed, but PAW Patrol is still going strong with six seasons and a bunch of new characters, as well as the pups having new powers. With each show growing stronger and stronger by the day, it is becoming harder to make the plan than back in 2017. But then, they got an idea. So, the next morning, at 4 AM, Swiper and the Troublemakers snuck into the PAW Patrol set to meet two new characters, Sweetie and the Copycat, both villains, and try to get them to join the team. They both do, since they hate their job as being the villains, and they want to stop the pups and everybody on Nick Jr by destroying the channel.
They first start messing with the schedule, airing episodes of shows from adult cartoon channels. Next, they start to use the booby-trap to attack some of the characters. Then, they start breaking down the assets of Nick Jr. At this point, everybody knows the terrible news, and they start a rebellion to stop Swiper, the Troublemakers, Sweetie and Copycat. The leader is Dora, Boots, Blaze and Ryder. The rebellion was called the NickJrebellion.
On the outside world, Nick Jr is breaking down, and nobody knows why. Then, the evil group start to break down other channels to make one big adult cartoon channel. All of the USBs are dissolving, therefore the crew has to cancel them and take them to the DSCL for the meantime. All except for PAW Patrol, which wasn't dissolving due to its popularity. Swiper, frustrated, goes to the PAW Patrol USB and attempts to pull it out. He somehow manages to, which meant the show was cancelled. But instead of taking it to the DSCL, he throws it into the abyss for it to break. Dora, shocked jumps in to catch the USB, but it was too late as the USB is moderately damaged by its long fall.
The NickJrebellion agree that it would be a good idea to get away from the evil team by taking the broadcast chord to the UK, where nothing is damaged. So, that evening, they set off from their home, sad.
When they finally get to the UK, one month later, they find out everything is broken there too, and the evil team had followed them all the way, destroying other countries' TV channels along the way as well. Dora, annoyed, stands up to the team to stop them, and the rest of the NickJrebellion join in, when they begin to battle. They start flying from cartoon episode to cartoon episode until they end up in a massive battlefield, where the final battle begins. The battlefield was on a spaceship, so Swiper comes up with an idea to ground pound so the ground falls and the evil team could go to the ceiling to survive. When he ground pounds onto the floor, what Swiper didn't know was that the ceiling was weaker than the floor, so the pressure doesn't break the floor, but it rises up, causing the ceiling to fall onto the evil team.
It is late 2019, and the evil team are in jail serving their sentence. They are able to restore the USBs by discovering a new healing chemical in a Dora The Explorer episode, "Star Mountain" including the PAW Patrol USB. In September 2019, due to the evil team not bothering them, the crew of Bubble Guppies plug their show's USB into the Nick Jr router for two more seasons.
In a mid-credits scene, Sweetie has a dream about the crew from PAW Patrol cancelling the show, and Sweetie jumping on the USB when they drive it out, flying it to the DSCL. She is very happy, but then all of a sudden she is woken up by the prison guards to go to work. Sweetie sighs in disappointment.
In a post-credits scene, teasing a sequel, the characters of PAW Patrol look at the graph showing everyone who is watching PAW Patrol each episode. Slowly, the viewer count becomes lower and lower reaching under half a million viewers. All of the pups are worried, except Marshall, who says, "He-heh, what's the worst that could happen?"
