Neutron and Nova: Robots in Action is an American animated action science-fiction comedy-drama television series created by TBD, being produced by Universal Animation Studios and Universal Content Productions and has aired on Universal Kids from January 13th, 2023 until March 6th, 2025 and has aired on Planet Family since then.

Synopsis

Set in the future where humans and robots have been residing with each other, an evil organization called the Broad Organization under Leader Taur (B.O.L.T.) has been causing havoc around the city as two robots named Neutron and Nova decide that they should protect the city from them as well as other villains.

Characters

Main

• Neutron (voiced by Tru Valentino) - a tough, serious and brave robot who was initially built to help around his and Nova's creator around the apartment, but has soon been trained to fight threats ever since B.O.L.T. began causing havoc.
• Nova (voiced by Mae Whitman) - a kind, yet ditzy and hyperactive robot who was built as Neutron's sister as she was created to help Neutron around, and now helps him fight B.O.L.T. and other villains.

Supporting

• Professor Kennedy Radisson (voiced by Wayne Brady) - an intelligent scientist who is passionate about creating robots as he has built Neutron and Nova to help around his apartment, but had to train them to fight in order to keep the city safe.
• Angela Lane (voiced by Jill Talley) - a giddy news reporter who loves finding news and reporting on it, often encountering Neutron and Nova.

Antagonists

• Taur (voiced by Wayne Knight) - a calculating and cold-hearted robot who wants to be superior to the other robots and have all humans obey him, as he is the leader of the Broad Organization under Leader Taur (B.O.L.T.).
  • Asahi Watanabe (voiced by Jessica DiCicco) - a seemingly cheerful and extremely friendly animesque robot who is actually maniacal and violent-loving who has volunteered to work for B.O.L.T. and used her "friendly disguise" to trick Neutron and Nova.
• Yorinobu Fukara (voiced by Dante Basco) - a deranged Japanese man who believes himself to be a samurai as he wanders around looking for fights.
