Mystcanum: A New Trading Card Game is a fantasy set trading card game published by Awestruck Toys.

Synopsis of the Card Game[]

Set in the magical realm of Mystcanum, the card game's cards are warriors and monsters in the realm of Mystcanum, showcasing their battles and wars for ancient artifacts known as Arcanic Weapons which can shift the tide of battle.

Gameplay[]

The actual card game starts with each player selecting one Champion Card to represent them and one Location Card to set their Champion Card on, with the Location cards having passive effects. After that, the turn phase begins as players in each turn can draw and use three cards with the options of usable cards including expendable Grunt Cards which have low health but can lower the Champion Cards, Augment Cards which make Champion Cards stronger and Arcana Cards which are spells with many effects. After drawing cards, you attack with which cards are capable of attacking with the goal of the game being to destroy the opponent's Champion Card. Any card that is capable of attacking that is on the field immediately attacks on the attack phase. To simplify the game, Champions do have special passives as well, but grunts have no special abilities at all.

Champion Cards[]

  • Alura the Angel Queen - a serious yet protective and kind Amazonian angel who is the Queen of the Heaven Realm, as she watches over the kingdoms of Mystcanum, and joins the battle to preserve peace and stop the destructive wars, using her own Arcanic Weapon to help stop these wars. Health: 85. Attack: 10. Passive: Celestial Blessing - For one turn, Alura unleashes a wave of light to heal 20 hit points to both herself and her Grunts, although she can only use it once during the match.
  • Villgard the Black Knight - a terrifying and intimidating knight who was slain during the kingdom of Trystbal's Crimson Rebellion as he was brought back to life as a shadowy revenant, out to destroy the new monarchy of Trystbal that formed by his death. Health: 80. Attack: 10. Passive: Shadow Rage - At twenty health remaining, Villgard increases his attack to twenty instead of ten.

Location Cards[]

  • Deus Momentos - the capital of Trystbal which is a massive Holy capital for those who reside in Trystbal and worship the Seven Goddesses of Light. Effect: Every Champion and Grunt card summoned here has plus ten Health and plus five Attack.

Grunt Cards[]

  • Hyenafolk - territorial and violent Hyena-like creatures who live in the Moltencore Mountains as they attack with their aggressive axes and hate outsiders. Health: 10. Attack: 5.
  • Mermazons - fierce and nomadic yet noble mermaids who live in the oceans of Mystcanum as they attack with coral spears and are intelligent enough to determine friend from foe among the surface dwellers. Health: 10. Attack: 7.

Augment Cards[]

  • Armor of Tylaros - a suit of armor created to serve the God of Light and Alura's father, Tylaros, to be one of the Arcanic Weapons, with it being capable of harnessing heavenly light. In lore, Alura canonically wears the armor to prevent others from using it. Effect: The armor adds ten health to whoever wears the Augment Card.

Arcana Cards[]

  • Fire Arrow Storm - an Arcana card which drops a horde of fire arrows. Effect: The card hits every single card out there for five damage.
