My Little Pony: Harmony Goes Forward
 is a 2017 American 2D CGI computer-animated musical television series produced by DreamWorks Animation Television, Hasbro Studios and Universal Television and distributed by NBCUniversal Television Distribution, with animation created using Toon Boom Harmony. It takes place after the events of My Little Pony (DreamWorks Film). It was released on June 20th, 2017. It aired on Universal Kids and streamed on Netflix.

Brittney Karbowski, Jessica DiCicco, Megan Shipman, Apphia Yu, Michelle Rojas, Jeannie Tirado, Alexis Tipton, Fatima Ptacek, Kristi Kang, Jamie Marchi, Shelby Lindley, and Tajja Issn provide the new voices of The Mane Group, however, their voice actresses from the movie will provide their singing voices.


The series takes place after the events of the first film and follows the adventures of Twilight Sparkle, her closest friend Sunset Shimmer, their dragon sidekicks Spike and Garble, and their crew (known as the Mane Group) in Equestria where they have to deal with their day-to-day activities while dealing with several menaces. However, with the power of friendship, they remain united as a team, being able to overcome any problem.

  • Brittney Karbowski (singing voice by Angelina Jolie) as Twilight Sparkle; a kind, social and friendly alicorn who loves knowledge and magic. She is the leader of the Mane Group, and the Princess of Friendship.
  • Jessica DiCicco (singing voice by Melissa Benoist) as Sunset Shimmer; an alicorn who is Twilight's closest friend and legal guardian, and the co-leader of the Mane Group.
  • Megan Shipman (singing voice by China Anne McClain) as Rainbow Dash; a tomboyish pegasus and Twilight's best friend who is gifted with superspeed.
  • Apphia Yu (singing voice by Ellie Kemper) as Pinkie Pie; an energetic, but somewhat ditzy Earth pony and Sunset's best friend who works as a baker and usually acts in a very cartoony way, being considered the ditz of Maneville.
  • Michelle Rojas (singing voice by Miranda Cosgrove) as Rarity Belle; a ladylike unicorn who works as a fashion designer, having a crush on Spike as well, often calling him "Spikey".
  • Jeannie Tirado (singing voice by Jennette McCurdy) as Applejack; a hard-working and supernaturally strong Earth pony who works as a farmer at her family's farm.
  • Alexis Tipton (singing voice by Naomi Scott) as Fluttershy; a nice and kind, but shy and somewhat scaredy animal-loving pegasus who appears to be the oldest of the group.
  • Fatima Ptacek (singing voice by Victoria Justice) as Sugarcoat; a pegasus with half Earth pony instincts who is a total gardener.
  • Kristi Kang (singing voice by Lucy Hale) as Indigo Zap;
  • Jamie Marchi (singing voice by Gwen Stefani) as Sunny Flare; an Earth pony with half unicorn instincts 
  • Shelby Lindley (singing voice by Mandy Moore) as Sour Sweet;
  • Tajja Issn (singing voice by Katy Perry) as Lemon Zest; a tomboyish unicorn with half pegasus instincts 
  • Cathy Weseluck (young) and Jace Norman (older) as Spike; Twilight's somewhat sarcastic, yet very wise dragon assistant who has a crush on Rarity. He represents the Element of Wisdom, and is the Guardian Dragon of Friendship.
  • Debi Derryberry (young) and Zach Callison (older) as Garble; Sunset's dragon assistant and love interest. He represents the Element of Heart, and is the Guardian Dragon of Harmony.
  • Scott Menville as Discord; Fluttershy's draconequus assistant and love interest.
  • Ella Anderson as Megan Williams; the human friend of the ponies.
