Prologue[]

(A splash screen saying "Booting up// Murder_Drones.mp4" appears on-screen for a couple seconds. After that, the Sony, Columbia Pictures, 21 Laps Entertainment, New Eden Pictures, Original Film, and 87North Productions logos play. Open to an 80s-era commercial, as we are shown the interior of a suburban house with a woman feeling exasperated as she slouched onto the couch.)

Voiceover: Have you ever felt tired of doing everything? Your cooking, your work, even your kids?

(The woman nods to all the voiceover is asking her.)

Voiceover: Well, put your worries aside, with the market's new product: the Worker Drone, from JCJenson (IN SPAAAAACEE!!!!)!

(A Worker Drone pulls up beside her.)

Demo Worker Drone: Hello. How may I be of service today?

(Show the Worker Drone rotating on a turntable.)

Voiceover: Coded with state-of-the-art technology, this adorable little drone will do anything to keep your responsibilities out of your way!

(Show a woman about to dust off a table top. The Worker Drone pulls up aside her.)

Demo Worker Drone: Let me do that for you.

Woman: Oh, thank you!

(Show various scenarios where the Worker Drone is present.)

Voiceover: Whether it's for a barbecue...

(The Worker Drone flips a burger patty on a grill.)

Voiceover: ...or a long haul...

(The Worker Drone drives a 1983 Audi Quattro.)

Voiceover: Or even digging for treasure, the Worker Drone is sure to be there, no matter the situation!

(The Worker Drone mines a rock.)

Voiceover: Oh, and did we mention, they can act like humans too?

Demo Worker Drone: Wait, what?

Voiceover: That's right! With our highly-advanced AI, Worker Drones can also do basic human functions, just like a regular person would!

(The woman whispers a joke to the Worker Drone.)

Demo Worker Drone: Ha ha ha. What a funny joke that was!

(Cut to another scenario, where a kid was just about to smoke a cigarette, but the Worker Drone takes it away from him.)

Demo Worker Drone: No no. Smoking is bad for your health.

(Cut to another scenario, where she sits on a chair.)

Demo Worker Drone: Criss cross applesauce.

Voiceover: So what are you waiting for? Order one now, and receive several free goodies from JCJenson themselves! From branded pens to widely-known products like Windox and Mr. Bald, there's never been a good time to look into the future! So call now! JCJenson (IN SPAAAAACEE!!!!) is not responsible for any injuries or deaths resulted from this product. Improper disposal may result in reboots without changes, terminal lockout, or carry potentially hazardous mutations.

(The camera zooms out as soon as the ad ended, revealing that it was being played on a big display screen in a darkened board room with JCJenson's CEO, James Smith, his left hand rested on the table.)

James: But that was a long time ago. With the technological advancements that have been discovered & made over the past 44 years, we have decided to discontinue the Worker Drone production line, as they are no longer necessary in this day and age.

(Static transition to a news report.)

News Anchor #1: Several of the JCJenson-branded Worker Drones have been malfunctioning as of late, with some overheating and ceasing functions. The company has yet to make a statement regarding these malfunctions.

(Static transition to another news report.)

News Anchor #2: More Worker Drones have been reported to cease functioning, as JCJenson, the company responsible for the robots, have not yet spoken out about the situation.

(Clamoring news reports regarding the Worker Drones malfunctioning overlap each other. Then static transition to one particular news report.)

News Anchor #3: JCJenson announces the end of support for all functioning Worker Drones. The company's representative, Collin Williams, has made a press statement regarding the matter.

(Cut to Collin Williams, a representative of JCJenson, at a press conference.)

Collin: Effective October 29, 2027 at 12 AM Eastern Time, JCJenson will discontinue services on all Worker Drones. The company's CEO, James Smith, has signed a new order in which any Worker Drones still remaining on the planet will be met with swift and lethal force by the newly-created Disassembly Drones. These more-advanced counterparts will hunt down and disable the Worker Drones through brute tactics to make sure their orders have been met. Any human deaths resulted from these drones will not be held accountable by JCJenson or its affiliates. No questions.

(Collin leaves the podium. Several journalists clamor, asking him questions. Static transition to shots of Disassembly Drones, ready to take off from a factory in an unknown location, as "Disassembly Required" starts playing. The door opens, and hundreds of Disassembly Drones fly out of it, landing in various cities around the world. Cities shown include: New York, London, Tokyo, and Sydney. The Worker Drones in the cities are torn apart brutally from the Disassembly Drones, as panic and mayhem among everyone ensues. After a montage of this, one of the Disassembly Drones flies towards the camera, engulfing it in black, as the film's title appears in static. The title then fizzles out.)

Part 1[]

(Open on an establishing shot from the Marin Headlands, showing the Golden Gate Bridge, with San Francisco seen in the background.)

SAN FRANCISCO, USA

(Cut to a classroom, with a mix of humans and Worker Drones.)

Teacher: Good morning, class. As you all know yesterday, we will begin presentations. Now, who wants to start us off?

(No one raises their hand.)

Teacher: No one? Do I have to start calling on someone?

(The camera cranes down behind a Worker Drone, who raises her hand.)

Teacher: Ah, Uzi. Thank you.

(Uzi Doorman, late-teens, purple hair and emo-looking Worker Drone, walks up to the front of the class, with a railgun on her hand.)

Uzi: So... if you've known anything about me, I'm sure you all know what I will be talking about today.

(She starts off her speech by planting her railgun beside her.)

Uzi: I'm certain most, if not, all of you, know what is happening to us Worker Drones. Disabled, broken, torn apart limb-by-limb from these... (she shows a picture of a Disassembly Drone) Murder Drones.

(The class starts murmuring among each other.)

Uzi: We Worker Drones definitely don't like this at all. Why hide away from something that can be defeated very easily? It's so cowardly and stupid! So that is why I, Uzi Doorman, have conceived a plan. A plan to eliminate all Disassembly Drones!

(More murmuring occurs amongst the students. The teacher watches in confusion.)

Uzi: Now I know what you're thinking. "Uzi, what are you gonna do to combat these things? They're so OP!" Well, I have an answer for you. This!

(She pulls out her railgun and points it to the class. Everyone gasps.)

Student #1: Is she being serious?

Uzi: Yeah, that's right. Get scared. With this sick-as-hell railgun, one shot at a Disassembly Drone is enough to blow up their circuits and disable them. Like nothing of their presence ever existed.

(She puts her right foot on a chair.)

Uzi: So, what do you say, fellas? Are you with me, or are you just gonna stand there while we Worker Drones suffer from torture? I say join me, and together as one, we will rise above the clouds and yell our rebel call! Hyah!!! (She steps off the chair.) And that's all.

(Silence fills the room.)

Lizzy: Pssh. Yeah, right.

Student #2: No one cares, asshole!

Teacher: Language, students! (to Uzi) Okay. Uzi, two things. One, your presentation was supposed to be about the assignment we did on your paper. Two, how did you even sneak that weapon in?

Uzi: I just said it was an art project.

Teacher: Well, is this "art project" supposed to make that noise?

(The railgun starts emitting a strange noise.)

Uzi: Oh-

(Cut to the outside of the classroom, where Uzi is pushed back by the force of the explosion into a wall of lockers. A couple of students back away. Cut to Uzi in the nurse's office. The nurse there slowly shakes her head at Uzi and goes back to reading her magazine. Lizzy and Doll, two Worker Drone students, spot Uzi from outside the office.)

Lizzy: Eww. It didn't kill her. Oh my god, that was so bad. (She and Doll walk away in amusement.)

(Uzi sighs. Then, she spots Thad, a Worker Drone student, walking by, when the latter spots her.)

Thad: Oh. Uzi? Didn't expect to see you here.

Uzi: (sighs) Bite me, Thad.

Thad: Hey. What's wrong?

(Uzi doesn't answer.)

Thad: Oh, I see. It's that speech you did in class, wasn't it? The whole "join the Rebel Alliance" kind-of thing?

Uzi: I just don't get it. Why isn't anyone doing anything about these so-called "Murder Drones"?

Thad: Well, to be fair, they are kinda-

Uzi: Don't say it.

Thad: What? I'm just being honest here.

Uzi: You know, for a city having one of the largest remaining Worker Drone population on the planet, it's like they're purposefully not doing anything, because we're "outdated".

Thad: True. But I'm sure it'll blow off soon.

Uzi: Oh, Thad. Tsk, tsk, tsk. I'm sure it won't "blow off" soon. That's why I have this. (she shows her railgun at Thad) Pretty cool, huh?

Thad: (uneasy) Yeah... (changing the subject of the conversation) Say, now that we're in the same room, I've been meaning to ask you something.

Uzi: What is it? A stupid prom proposal?

Thad: (blushes) Wuh- no, not that! At least not yet. But anyways, are you okay?

Uzi: What?

Thad: You know, since I've been noticing a lot of people aren't that... nice to you?

Uzi: I'll be fine. It's gonna take a lot to bring me down, Thad. I'm stronger than most people. I know my place in the world now. Or at least so far.

(The school bell rings.)

Thad: Oh! Dismissal!

(He gets up.)

Thad: Hey, I'll see you tomorrow, a'ight? That is, if you don't carry with out that plan of yours. And if there's anything you wanna talk about, hook me up and I'll see when I'm available. See ya!

Uzi: (chuckles quietly) Classic Thad.

(She gets up. Cut to a shot of her walking on a street at sunset, with Coit Tower in the background and "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" playing in her headphones. She enters an apartment. Her father, Khan, is in the living room.)

Khan: Hey, Uzi. Glad you made it back home, especially with the curfew for us Worker Drones about to come on.

Uzi: Hey, dad.

(She is about to enter her room, until her dad calls out to her again, gesturing to the couch.)

Khan: Hey, hey, sit down here, kiddo. I want to talk to you about something.

Uzi: Ugh, what do you want? I just got back home!

Khan: Your teacher called me earlier today. Told me you brought a weapon to class as an "art project" and... injured yourself with it.

Uzi: Oh. He told you about it. Look, you don't understand. I made this so that we can have a fighting chance against the Murder Drones that clearly pose a threat to all of us! I'm not gonna sit around here and let them just kill us like we're just asking to die!

Khan: I mean, I can partly see where you're coming from, but perhaps we can think of a better prevention system. You see, I was thinking about very strong-

Uzi: -doors. I get it, dad. That's all you care about besides (air quotes with her fingers) "keeping me safe". But clearly, that's not going to be enough to increase our chances of surviving. What if they get past those doors somehow? Haven't you even considered of an efficient offense system when all goes south?

Khan: I understand your concerns and all, but believe me, I got into contact with some door manufacturers in the city, and they think it's the best we've got so far. Heck, there's even an organization out there called the "Worker Defense Force". You know, protecting us from all those Murder Drones. (He shows a flyer of the alliance to Uzi.) Here's the flyer if you're interested.

(Uzi looks at the flyer.)

Uzi: Yeah, but... like I said, that's not enough, dad. We gotta fight them! Show 'em we're much more than just "outdated autonomous robots".

Khan: (sighs) Uzi, I love you and all. I really do. But I don't want you to do this.

Uzi: What?! Why not?!

Khan: The risk is just not worth it. You know I can't comprehend the fact of losing you to those monsters. Especially after what they did to your mother.

(Uzi's eyes hollow. Silence spreads across the room as the two of them look at a family picture with Khan, Uzi, and her mother, Nori. She quietly reminisces before she sighs and turns back to her father.)

Uzi: You know, this is frickin' disgusting. The fact that these Murder Drones are killing every single Worker Drone they find, and no one but me wants to do anything about it! I'm so sick of hearing all these "Oh, it'll blow off soon! Don't worry too much about it!" bullshit! Want to know why? Because it's never gonna happen! (looks back at their family picture) We've lost so much, we can't lose even more again. (she turns back to Khan) So, either you die trying to kill these murderers instead of waiting for your precious doors to be installed, or so bite me! It's certainly better than just giving up, am I right or am I wrong?

(Khan doesn't say anything.)

Uzi: No, seriously, am I right or am I wrong?

(Khan still doesn't say anything.)

Uzi: (sighs) I knew it. And just when I thought I had some glimmer of faith in you.

(She walks off to her room.)

Khan: What am I doing wrong, Nori? Why has it come down to this?

(He puts his head in his hands. Cut to Uzi in her room. She throws her railgun on the floor. She looks at the clock, which is one minute before 7:00 PM, the curfew time.)

Uzi: I'll show them. They'll know how wrong they all are once I take a shot at these drones, and everyone will call me a hero.

(The clock ticks to 7:00 PM. Cut to the exterior shot at 12:00 AM, where the full moon has risen. Uzi's visor alarms at that time. She silences it. From there, Uzi grabs her railgun, a face mask, and keys. She slowly sneaks her way out of the apartment, trying to silence her footsteps. She reaches the door, opening it as slowly and silently as possible. She closes the door and locks it.)

Uzi: (under her breath) This curfew can kiss my ass.

(She puts on her mask and walks off into the city.)

Part 2[]

(Show various shots of a brightly-lit San Francisco in the night. Cars still on the roads pass by, and late-night humans walk on the streets. Crane down on Uzi, in the city, roaming around, looking for Disassembly Drones to kill.)

Some Creepy Dude: Hey, emo robot! You know it's very late for someone like you to be out here in the night.

Uzi: Yeah, so?

Some Creepy Dude: So why don't you just go back to where you came from before it's too late?

Uzi: Uhh, I'm not gonna, thank you!

(She runs off.)

Some Creepy Dude: Hey, where are you going? I'm just trying to keep you safe! (scoffs) Juvenile delinquents. She's gonna get herself killed out there, I'll tell you that.

(Cut back to Uzi on her journey through the city. She stops. She hears something. It's the sound of scraping metal, coming from an adjacent alleyway. Uzi enters the alley, slowly readying her railgun. There, she spots her one target: a Disassembly Drone. The Disassembly Drone can be seen tearing apart an unfortunately-unlucky Worker Drone and consumes its oil. Uzi slowly approaches the Disassembly Drone, her railgun pointed at it. Then suddenly... CRUNCH! Uzi looks down. She finds that she stepped on a piece of bubble wrap. The Disassembly Drone hears it, and looks at Uzi.)

Uzi: Shit.

(Uzi aims her railgun at the Disassembly Drone, but the latter pushes it out of her hands.)

Uzi: Oh frick... Alright, screw this.

(She decides to make a run for it. The Disassembly Drone chases after her. A few people on the streets spot the Disassembly Drone chasing after Uzi and run away in panic. Some dodge it. Uzi slides underneath a passing truck, which is wrecked when the Disassembly Drone blasts right through it. She trips over. The Disassembly Drone is above her now. Uzi struggles to keep it off of her. Then she spots a rock. She barely grabs it and smashes the Disassembly Drone with it multiple times, disabling it. The Disassembly Drone falls over. Uzi rolls on her right to get it off. She gets up and looks at it.)

Uzi: Holy hell. (she starts smiling) HA! Bite me, whoever doubted me in the first place! 'Cause look what I did here! (she hears something) Huh?

(The Disassembly Drone gets up and slowly approaches her. Uzi frantically looks around for a hard, heavy object. She finds a metal pole on a wall. She tries to rip it off.)

Uzi: Come on!

(The Disassembly Drone gets closer to her. Uzi successfully rips the metal pole off and slaps the Disassembly Drone with it. It reboots itself and its eyes turn normal.)

N: (in a flat but happy tone) Ow!

(He looks at Uzi, and then the pole.)

N: Did you just slap me with that pole?

Uzi: Holy crap, it talks.

N: Yeah, of course. It's not like us Disassembly Drones have some special language that only we can understand. Though you do look… short for such.

(He examines Uzi very closely. However, his scanner doesn't seem to read her as either a Worker Drone nor a Disassembly Drone.)

N: Hi, I'm Serial Designation N, at your service! Nice to meet you. (He offers his hand at Uzi.)

Uzi: (shakes N's hand) Doorman. Uzi Doorman. Can we discuss about what just happened?

N: Discuss what?

Uzi: You know, the whole "you trying to kill me" sort of stuff?

N: Oh, that. Yeah, I'm sorry. I'm usually a nice guy, but those higher-ups at JCJenson had to program me to be a serial killer, of all things.

Uzi: Yeah, I can see that. You killed a Worker Drone, you caused a truck to explode, and you caused so much panic amongst everyone here. Do me a favor, will you? Don't kill any more Worker Drones or anything like that until I can figure out what to do with you.

N: Should I? What if they're watching?

Uzi: Who's watching?

N: JCJenson.

(He points to a little camera located on his hat.)

N: It's always on 24/7 by JCJenson for "legal purposes". At least that's what they said.

Uzi: Come on, you scared over a camera? That is, like, the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

N: I get that, but still, something tells me they're watching.

Uzi: So? Show a little defiance. It never hurts anyone.

(N thinks about it.)

N: Okay. If you say so.

(N disables the camera.)

Uzi: See? That wasn't so hard, was it?

N: Yeah, that actually felt good.

Uzi: Come on, I'll take you to my apartment. Just don't wake up my dad. He'll kill me if he knows about you.

N: Sure! I love doing anything!

(Cut to the exterior of the JCJenson headquarters in Silicon Valley.)

JCJENSON HQ
SILICON VALLEY

(Cut to a meeting room, where James and a couple of board members are sitting on a conference table, discussing about the current state of the Worker Drones.)

James: Okay, ladies and gents, what have our Disassembly Drones around the world return to us?

Board Member #1: Well, our Disassembly Drones in Europe told us that 5.3 million Worker Drones have been exterminated.

James: Okay. What about those in Asia?

Board Member #2: At least 28.1 million.

James: Australia?

Board Member #3: 1.6 million.

James: Sweet. The plan is going well. What else can we do that we haven't done yet?

Board Member #3: Announce that the Worker Drones would receive compensation if not all of them have been disposed of?

James: Really? (He laughs.) Oh wait, you're being serious? (He laughs harder. The board members look confused.)

Board Member #3: I'm just sayin'...

Board Member #2: Wait. I've got something to show you.

James: (trying to catch his breath) What?

Board Member #2: I received a video from Serial Designation S in New York, where she killed a Worker Drone there in an extremely gruesome way.

James: Did she? Show it to the board.

(Board Member #2 loads up the video on the projector.)

S: JCJenson, hope you receive this vid, cuz this one is pretty sweet.

Worker Drone in Video: No! Please, have mercy!

(S brutally tortures the Worker Drone in the video. But it cuts to the reactions of the JCJenson meeting before the contents are shown offscreen. Cut back to the video once it's over.)

S: So yeah. There you have it. Peace!

(The video ends.)

James: Goddamn. That was impressive.

Board Member #1: Sir. We have a possible situation in San Francisco.

James: What is it?

Board Member #1: Apparently, Serial Designation N seems to have disappeared from our list.

James: Wait, who?

Board Member #1: N, the happy-go-lucky guy?

James: Oh, N. How? What did he do?

Board Member #1: We don't know. We're still working on it.

James: Dammit. Get in contact with Serial Designations V and J there. Ask them to call N, see if he is okay. This is gonna give us a bad picture.

Part 3[]

(Cut back to Uzi and N in the former's apartment.)

Uzi: We are never talking about this.

N: Talking about what? Consider it, uh... repressed!

(Uzi looks at him.)

Uzi: Anyways, do you have any other members in your squad? 'Cause I remember seeing some the other day.

N: Oh, yeah! I do. Uh... I know V came along with me.

(Cut to a scene of V, a Disassembly Drone, about to murder a Worker Drone. N stops by.)

N: Hey, V!

V: Hm?

(The Worker Drone flees as quickly as possible. V turns back.)

V: Goddamnit, N. Why did you do that?

N: What? I just wanted to say "hi".

V: Yeah, but not at a time like this. Ugh.

(V flies away. Cut back to the present day.)

N: J's in my squad too...

(Cut to a scene of J, a Disassembly Drone, inspecting N and V. A butterfly then lands on N's nose. J notices it.)

J: N, what in corporate layoff is this?

(She grabs the butterfly off N's nose.)

J: You know, if the company had allowed it, I would've just straight up kill you myself.

(She crushes the butterfly. Cut back to the present.)

N: And... yeah, I guess that's pretty much everyone.

Uzi: So... out of curiosity, how are they as your, you know, squadmates?

N: Oh, them? Well...

(Beat.)

N: ...if I'm gonna be honest, I don't really know. I don't know if they see me as part of the team or not. Or a friend for that matter. I feel like they're trying to put me down somehow. Is it because I'm too kind for Disassembly Drone standards? I mean, I'm trying my best but, I feel like there's something I'm doing wrong considering how... mean they are to me, to say the least. Am I doing something wrong, Uzi?

(Uzi looks at him for a good while, processing what he just told her, seeing a few similarities to herself in the Disassembly Drone she just met.)

Uzi: You know, for someone who gets kicked like a downed puppy by his teammates, you did pretty damn good when we first met.

N: Heh, thanks. I... usually don't get much compliments from them, or from anyone else for that matter.

(Cut to V and J on the rooftop of a building.)

J: V, do you know where on Earth is N? I haven't seen him in a while.

V: Beats me.

J: (sighs) When I get my hands on that liability-

(They receive a call from James.)

James: Okay, girls, I'm sure you know about N's disappearance, right?

V and J: Yes.

James: Alright. What I want you to do is call him with your cell. We'll see if we can tell what happened, and if he's still functioning properly.

J: Got it.

James: 'K. Goodbye.

(V holds up a phone and calls N. Cut to Uzi and N receiving the call.)

Uzi: Who is that?

(N switches to his phone.)

N: Oh crud.

Uzi: What?

N: It's V.

Uzi: Then ignore it.

N: I'm not ignoring it! It's company policy! You never ignore a call, no matter who the person is!

(N accepts the call.)

N: Hello?

J: N, where are you? JCJenson is literally wondering what happened to you.

N: I'm in a hotel.

V: We don't do hotels, idiot.

N: Uh... Look, I'm just taking a break from all of the rampage we were causing in the past few days, 'cuz I'm really tired right now.

V: No one gives a crap about how tired you are. You gotta do your job.

N: Well, sorry. I'm just trying to be like a normal Drone for once.

Uzi: N, what are you saying?

N: Shut up, I'm trying to make up a lie.

V: Who are you talking to?

N: No one! Okay! I gotta go now, talk to you later! Bye!

(N hangs up. V holds up a flag that says "Literally So Insanely Suspicious" as she and J look at each other in confusion. Cut back to Uzi and N.)

N: Oh man, I'm screwed.

Uzi: I don't know what to say, honestly.

N: Me neither.

(Cut to James, waiting for an answer from V and J, when he receives a call.)

James: Hello?

V: We called him.

James: Okay. Then what?

J: He just hung up from us.

V: But before he did, we found something none of us were expecting.

J: And it's a Worker Drone.

James: Wait, what?

J: Yeah. I know. Alive and about.

James: What are you girls talking about?

V: Basically, before he hung up, we saw what appeared to be a purple-haired emo Worker Drone in the same room as N. We believe he's teaming up with that drone to plan something.

James: Really?

V: Yeah.

James: (to himself) What is this son-of-a-bitch doing? Doesn't he know if this plan fails, it's all over?

V: I'm sure he does, but he probably doesn't care at all. That's why we're thinking of finding him throughout the Bay Area and kill that Worker Drone. We can't use our radar because he disabled his location.

James: Just do it. Do whatever it takes to separate that Worker Drone from N.

J: Will do.

James: Good. Thank you for reporting this.

(He hangs up.)

James: What on earth are you up to, N?

(He logs into his computer and opens a list of all the Disassembly Drones still in operation. He looks for N's name.)

James: Bingo... (he chuckles)

(The camera shows on the monitor that N's last known location was near Coit Tower. Cut back to V and J.)

V: So we'll just split up then?

J: Yeah. Covers a wider range of area.

V: Okay.

J: Report back to me if you see anything related to that synergistic liability.

V: Will do.

(V and J fly off the rooftop. Cut back to Uzi and N, with the former laying on her bed and the latter playing Astro Bot on her PS5.)

Uzi: Can you turn that down, please? I don't want you to wake up my dad.

N: Sorry.

(N lowers the volume on the TV. Uzi just stares at the ceiling.)

Uzi: You know, before I met you, all I got were some... interesting responses from other people, to say the least.

N: Really? What kind?

Uzi: Well... not-so-nice ones.

(N paused the game. He walked towards Uzi and sat right next to her.)

N: In what way?

(Uzi sighs. Fade to a flashback. It opens on her sitting on the table with a crouched position.)

Student: Hey freak, can you get back on your chair?

Uzi: Bite me!

(Cut to Uzi walking out of a classroom and using some books to reach her locker and open it. Lizzy and Doll walk by as the former kicks the books, making her fall.)

Lizzy: Know your place, trash.

Doll: Давайте уйдем отсюда. Она не стоит нашего времени./Let's get out of here. She's not worth our time.

(The two walk away laughing, with Uzi sporting a hurt look on her face before changing to a neutral expression and getting back with her day. Cut to her walking past some students before a random jock bumps into her.)

Jock: Watch where you're going, you load of scrap!

Thad: Come on guys, be nice! (helps Uzi up) Are you okay?

Uzi: Yes, Thad. You know I can get up on my own two feet, right?

Thad: Uh-

Jock: (to Thad) Hey, leave that gearwaste alone! We're gonna be late for practice!

Thad: Sorry, I got somewhere I need to be right now. See ya around!

(Thad runs off with his fellow jocks as Uzi looks at him for a while before picking up her stuff.)

Uzi: (voiceover) Since I was different amongst everyone at my school, I would almost always be the one to be picked on.

(Cut to the outside of the school. As Uzi is walking, she gets stabbed in the visor with a pen by a random guy.)

Guy: Oops. My bad.

(Uzi pulls the pen out, upset.)

Guy: Hey, everyone! Look! It's Uzi, the "edgy teenage phase" robot!

(Some people laughed. The notable exception is Thad, who felt sorry for Uzi. Uzi walks away in dismay.)

Uzi: (voiceover) The humiliation I received made me realize this is who I truly am. I'm just the quiet girl in an anime who may seem like the easiest type to pick on, but in reality, she could be so much more. So when I saw the news that you guys got deployed, that's when I knew my time to shine was just around the corner.

(Cut to Uzi watching Collin's announcement of the Disassembly Drones.)

Uzi: (voiceover) As soon as I saw that fateful announcement, I took matters into my own hands.

(Cut to a montage of Uzi installing parts of a railgun.)

Uzi: (voiceover) With the knowledge I had of guns, and rewatching all those action movies, I was ready.

(Uzi installs the last part of her railgun.)

Uzi: Perfect.

(Fade back to the present day.)

Uzi: So yeah. There you have it. There's my tragic backstory.

N: Wow. That must've been hard for someone like you to go through. How come you never gave up?

Uzi: Do you really think giving up is the solution to everything?

N: No. At least I don't think so.

Uzi: Exactly. Continuing to push through the pain is what brought me here today. And I even got to meet you too.

N: Yeah. I'm actually pretty glad that happened. I too had some experiences as well, and they were scary.

Uzi: I'm just glad we're on the same boat.

N: Yeah.

(N had lain down on the bed beside Uzi. The two stare at the ceiling.)

Uzi: N?

N: Yeah?

Uzi: You think once all this is over, we could be together forever?

(Beat.)

N: I'm positive.

(The two Drones' visors go blank, signifying they've went into sleep mode. Fade to black.)

Part 4[]

(Cut to the school Uzi attends. Doll and Lizzy are seen chatting at the cafeteria. Thad was walking by.)

Thad: Hey, girls! Mind if I sit with you?

Doll: Ничего страшного, мы не против./It's okay, we don't mind.

(He sits down besides them, eating his lunch.)

Thad: So uh, I've been meaning to ask this one question that's been in the back of my brain since Homeroom.

Doll: Что это такое?/What is it?

Thad: Have you guys seen Uzi anywhere today? I haven't seen her come to school, and I don't even know if she's just late or something.

Doll: Нет. Я тоже не видел ее весь день./No. I haven't seen her all day either.

Lizzy: Yeah, she's probably got herself killed for real by now. Speaking of, why do you care so much about her?

Thad: You've gotta be kidding me. Can you guys put yourselves in Uzi's shoes for a bit? I know I'm almost as guilty of not knowing her that much but from what I've seen, Uzi is someone worth caring for. There a lot of times I've witnessed her be pushed around by others, including you two. Even when she shrugs it off a lot, there's part of me that feels like those events still continue to haunt her at times. I just wish I gave more time for her, or there are some people out there who genuinely cared for her as well.

(Lizzy scoffs.)

Doll: Ваша точка зрения?/Your point being?

Thad: My point being that if someone is being constantly pushed around by others then yes, I do care for them!

(Silence occurs between the trio. Thad then sighs.)

Thad: Arguing with you guys isn't worth my time right now, I'll just get back to my lunch. (he eats his lunch as he internally monologues) Uzi, I don't know if you can hear me, but I just wanted to let you know that there are people who care about you. They really do. I just hope wherever you are right now, you're doing okay.

(Cut to the camera focusing on Uzi's alarm, displaying 10:29 AM. She silences it, wakes up, and exits her room, with a note from her dad that reads, "OFF COMMUNICATING WITH THE NEAREST DOOR GUYS. PLEASE DON'T BE LATE FOR SCHOOL - DAD".)

Uzi: (groggy) Ugh, I don't have time for this.

(From Uzi's bedroom, she goes downstairs while she scrolled through social media on her phone, unaware that a Disassembly Drone was hiding in the shadows. She approached the kitchen. The Disassembly Drone drops from the ceiling.)

N: Morning, Uzi!

Uzi: Oh, robo-Jesus!

(She fell over. She let out a sigh of relief, knowing it was just N, who had already woken up as well.)

Uzi: Morning, N. Oh robo-God, you scared the living crap out of me. (she got up)

N: So that means I'm on the right track to becoming an actual Disassembly Drone?

Uzi: I mean, yeah, if that's what you're going for.

N: (quietly) Ha ha! Yes!

(He looked at the clock, and then at Uzi. He was confused.)

N: You know, I was wondering, aren't you supposed to be at school right now? From some stuff I've seen, apparently Worker Drones go there too. Am I correct?

Uzi: Don't remind me. School can kiss it, it's just something you would sleep or stay awake through waiting for it to be over. Besides, I've got bigger plans at the moment.

N: Hold on. First off, isn't school something people are required to attend to?

Uzi: Not for me. Considering how boring it can be and how much hell others have given me, it's just a pain I'd rather get off my chest. That's just what being rebellious is like. Your world, your rules.

N: I guess I can see your point. Second, what exact plans are you talking about?

Uzi: I'm forming a plan to destroy all the Disassembly Drones. Well, not you, obviously, just the others.

N: Really? How are you gonna do that?

Uzi: This. (shows off her railgun to N)

N: Oooooh, I remember that when I first tried to kill you!

Uzi: Yes. I know. Beautiful. Unfortunately, if we're gonna deal with them quickly, we're gonna need more people to join our rebellion. Everyone at school's out of the question since I feel like they clearly would rather sit down and wait to be hunted down or hide until the whole fiasco's over.

N: Well, maybe other drones out there are willing to tag with us! Humans, even!

Uzi: Oh please, I'd be dead before a human even thinks of joining us.

N: What? Why, though?

Uzi: Come on, N. Who do you think started the whole "killing Worker Drones" thing?

N: I- (he realizes it) Actually, you've got a point there.

Uzi: Exactly.

(Cut to Uzi laying down and unrolling what looks to be the layout of her plan.)

Uzi: I call it "Operation Save Worker-Kind". It's simple.

(Cut to a fantasy sequence of the plan, showing all the things that are stated below.)

Uzi: First things first, we visit the headquarters of JCJenson. We kill all the people who work there. Then, we find the person responsible for starting the whole "killing Worker Drones" thing. We kill him, lure in the other Disassembly Drones to blast them with my railgun, and lastly, announce to the world that the Worker Drones are finally free from harm, and we've avenged those who were lost!

(Cheers erupt from a fantastic audience.)

Uzi: "Oh, Uzi, sorry we've doubted you!" "Uzi, you're a hero!" And that's where the book ends.

(The sequence ends.)

N: Ooh-hoo-hoo, that sounds awesome. Especially avenging those who were lost by those you hated.

Uzi: I know. It's like John Wick, but more badass.

N: What's John Wick?

Uzi: It's a movie. One of my favs. You should check it out once this is over.

N: Is there a dog in it?

(Uzi looked at N with a feared expression.)

Uzi: Uhh… Wh- why do you ask?

N: 'Cause I really like dogs, specifically golden retrievers, but I like all of them equally!

(Uzi stood silent for a second.)

Uzi: Just watch the movie when you have the chance. (to herself) Oh robo-God, what have I done?

N: Okay. So what should I do?

Uzi: You can start looking for people in the city who can help us with our plan.

N: Really? Out there? In the sun? No way! I'd fry if I took one step into the light.

Uzi: Why?

N: Yeah, see... we were given below-average cooling systems, and your oil is the only thing that keeps us operating. Part of the reason why we have to exterminate you.

Uzi: Okay, what else...? What else...? Oh! You can just use my computer and look for people in the area there. Here.

(She logs into her computer.)

Uzi: Now don't search up anything freaky on my computer, or else. We'll be leaving at night.

N: Got it!

(N sits down on the chair. He picks up the mouse. He is greeted with Uzi's Spotify window.)

N: "Uzi's Sick-as-Hell Mixtape"? What is this?

(He clicks something that plays "Comatose".)

N: Oh crap!

(He clicks again, which switches from "Comatose" to "Tainted Love".)

N: Shut up! Shut up!

(Cut to Uzi rummaging through the cabinets and countertops for whatever stuff they may need downstairs. "Tainted Love" continues playing upstairs albeit muffled. Uzi hears the song and shakes her head, knowing N. She felt a cold breeze coming inside the apartment. She turns to see one of the windows completely open. She closes it. A shadow from behind her moves to another room, but Uzi, unaware of the shadow, goes back to the kitchen. Then she hears a clatter.)

Uzi: Hello? Is anyone there?

(She steps on a trail of oil on the floor.)

Uzi: What the...?

(She followed the trail, which led to an empty can on the floor. She picks it up. There appeared to be some more oil on it.)

Uzi: (exhales) Real funny, N. You can come out now.

(Beat.)

Uzi: N?

(A Disassembly Drone-esque figure approaches her from behind. Uzi quickly turns around.)

V: Hello, dipshit.

(Uzi ducks down from V's claws. She throws the can at V, who pushes it away. Uzi jumps over the counter top and grabs a knife. She pops out and stabs V with the knife, pushing her back into a wall. Uzi pulls the knife out of V.)

Uzi: You're not N.

V: I know. And I'm here to finish what he started.

(V cocks a submachine gun in her hand and attempts to shoot Uzi, but the latter dodges the bullets. Uzi hides behind the couch to shield her from the bullets. Uzi throws a knife at V, but she dodges it. Uzi decides to tackle at V, causing her to shoot bullets everywhere, including the family picture. Uzi punches V repeatedly, but it doesn't seem to weaken her. V gets up. Uzi grabs two cups and hits V with them. She wields another knife at V. Before she can attack, V catches the knife, pushes it off of her hands, and throws her at the glass-filled counter before falling onto the floor, weakening her. Cut to N.)

N: Okay... and... (he clicks on someone's page) A-ha! This is our perfect match!

(N hears all the noise downstairs.)

N: What is that?

(He gets up to check the commotion downstairs. Cut back to Uzi and V, before the latter is about to shoot the former.)

V: You mess with us Disassembly Drones, you pay the consequences.

(N enters just in time.)

N: Uzi! (he spots V) V, no!

(He pushes V just mere moments before she pulls the trigger.)

V: (grunts) What the hell? (notices N) N?! (notices Uzi still alive) You idiot! You made me miss!

N: But this time, I know what I'm doing. I'm not letting you hurt her, or kill her for that matter.

V: Are you dense? That's literally what we're supposed to do!

N: She's just a kid, V!

V: I don't care, N! If all Worker Drones must die, then I'm gonna do something about it!

Uzi: (pointing her railgun at V) Not if we do something about it first!

V: Do it. (points her gun at Uzi) I dare you.

(The two female drones stare down at each other. N looks at both of them in worry, but then decides to step in both of their ways, signaling them to stop with his hands.)

N: Can we all just calm down here, PLEASE?!

(Uzi and V look at N, shocked by his outburst. Both of them lower their offenses. N sighs with the situation now calm.)

N: Okay. (turns to V) Look, V. I know it's a bit difficult to take in, but, just... please don't hurt Uzi. I spent some time with her last night, and... she's cool. And I know because we talked that night. She too had some issues in the past, like us. So please, V, just let her live. I promise she won't do anything to you. Or to me. Just please, for darn's sake.

(V takes a moment to think.)

V: Fine. (she retracts her gun) It probably wouldn't have been worth it anyway. But don't think you're getting away scot-free, "Uzi".

(Uzi exhales.)

Uzi: Thank you, N.

N: Don't mention it. Oh, and should I mention I found someone who can help us?

Uzi: Already?

N: Yeah. I won't tell you who though. It's a surprise.

Uzi: Okay...

V: I'll go with you. Not because I want to help you, but because I'm keeping an eye out on her. (she points at Uzi)

N: Great! Welcome to the team, V!

(N offers his hand to V, but the latter declines it.)

Uzi: It's okay. I'm sure that's a yes.

(N looks at the mess Uzi and V made.)

N: Uhh... do you think we should clean up this mess? That way, your dad doesn't know what happened.

Uzi: Huh? Oh! Yeah! Come on, get something to clean this with.

(Cut to the end of the school day, where Thad was seen walking out of the building. He was attempting to call Uzi.)

Thad: C'mon, pick up! Pick up!

(No answer.)

Thad: Dammit!

(He sees Lizzy and Doll, and walks up to them.)

Lizzy: Oh hey, Thad.

Thad: Hey, girls. Have you tried contacting Uzi? I can't seem to reach her.

Lizzy: (scoffs) You're still giving your attention to that emo robot? Why haven't you let go?

Thad: Because I'm worried about her, Lizzy. I just can't stop thinking about it. What if she actually got herself hurt?

Lizzy: That's on her, then.

Thad: Okay, now you just don't care at this point. I'll tell you what. Meet me on Filbert Street at eight o'clock tonight. We're conducting an investigation.

Lizzy: Eight o'clock? That's an hour after the curfew starts.

Thad: Who cares about the curfew? That doesn't matter now.

Lizzy: Yeah, I'm not doing that. What about you, Doll?

(Doll started thinking about Thad's plan. She wasn't really fond of Uzi, but given she too is a Worker Drone, someone at least had to check on her.)

Doll: (exhales) Просто сделай это, Лиззи. Это никому не повредит./Just do it, Lizzy. It's not like it'll hurt anyone.

Thad: See? Even Doll says you should.

Lizzy: Okay, fine. We'll go along with your stupid investigation. Just don't make it a time-waster. I've got cheerleading practice tomorrow, and I have to sleep early tonight.

Thad: Great! I'll see you then!

(Thad walked away.)

Lizzy: This is a bad idea, right, Doll?

Doll: Да, расскажи мне об этом./Yeah, tell me about it.

(Cut to Uzi throwing away some glass in the trash.)

Uzi: Whew! That was a lot of work.

V: Yeah, tell me about it.

(The front door starts unlocking.)

Uzi: Crap, it's my dad! Come on, hide! I got this.

(N and V go upstairs quickly. They watch from the stairs. The door opens, revealing Khan.)

Khan: Oh! Hey, Uzi!

(Uzi pretends to play it cool.)

Uzi: Heyyyy, dad! So how was your day?

Khan: It was fine, thank you. The door manufacturers have just finished developing our high-tech defense doors and will be delivering them across the Bay Area soon. Yours?

Uzi: Mine was sooooo good.

Khan: And I see you've cleaned the whole apartment. Well done.

Uzi: Thank you!

(Khan looks at the broken wall.)

Khan: Why is the wall there broken?

Uzi: What wall? (she turns to the wall) Ohhh... See, I was practicing some jiu-jitsu and I accidentally kicked the wall.

Khan: Really? I've never seen you do jiu-jitsu before.

Uzi: I know! It's my hidden secret.

Khan: Is it now? What else from my daughter haven't I learned about yet?

Uzi: Oh, nothing else! Just that.

Khan: Right...

Uzi: Okay, I gotta go upstairs now! Feeling pretty exhausted from all that jiu-jitsu thing. There's totally nothing suspicious I'm hiding, LOL! Okay! Love you! Bye!

(She heads up the stairs.)

Khan: Teens these days.

(Cut to Uzi with N and V.)

V: (whispering) Are you kidding me? "Jiu-jitsu"?

Uzi: (whispering) Shut up, it's the best I could think of.

V: (whispering) Well, you could've come up with something better.

Uzi: (whispering) Do you really think I'd come up with a 100% believable story in just a span of 5 seconds?

V: (whispering) Yeah.

Uzi: (whispering) Ugh, just frickin' bite me!

(They shut the door to Uzi's room. Fade to a couple hours later. Uzi had just finished packing her stuff.)

Uzi: Okay. Is that everything?

N and V: Yes.

Uzi: Good. Now we gotta be stealthy. My dad is sleeping, and I don't want to wake him.

N: I know.

(Cut to the three walking slowly and quietly to the front door as quickly as possible, attempting to not make a sound. Then, just as Uzi grabbed the knob, she heard a familiar voice.)

Khan: Uzi?

Uzi: (mouthing) Frick! (she turns to Khan) Hey, dad! What are you doing up pretty late?

Khan: (seeing N and V) Wha- I was just about to ask the same thing, and you did not do what I think you did, right? You led not one but two Murder Drones here?!

Uzi: Dad, I can explai-

Khan: Also, your teacher told me you didn't attend school today! What were you doing all that time?

Uzi: What was I doing? What anyone else could never do: plan to take out all of the Murder Drones, of course! (gesturing to N and V) Except them, they're cool now.

Khan: Oh my robo- I can't believe this. I am at a loss for words right now. I can't believe that one, you skipped school, and two, you brought two Murder Drones into this apartment. Do you even know what you're doing? Oh, I knew I should've invested all that money on door manufacturing.

Uzi: Actually, yes. I know what I'm doing.

Khan: But do you really?! I'm telling you, if you make one mistake with this, it's game over! You'll be taken from my hands, and... I can't bear that feeling. We've already lost your mother, and I don't want the same to happen to you too.

(Uzi starts to feel guilty. She walks over to Khan.)

Uzi: Listen, Dad. I know what you're seeing right now isn't what you were expecting. Believe me, I understand, especially after what happened to Mom. But I talked it out with these drones. They understand my plan, and they're gonna help me succeed in it. If I hadn't known what I was doing, we wouldn't be having this conversation right now. So, Dad, for Mom's sake, let me get out there. I promise I will come back alive. Please.

(Khan took a few seconds to think. He knew it was time to let Uzi do her thing.)

Khan: Alright. Here. Take this too. (he gives Uzi his wife's choker) Kick some Murder Drone ass for her.

Uzi: (slight laugh) I will.

(Khan smiles. Then, he hugs Uzi tightly. Uzi hugs back. A tear sheds down Khan's eye.)

N: Don't worry, Mr. Uzi! I promise your daughter will be safe and sound with me. (Uzi elbows him) Ow!

Uzi: Don't jinx it.

N: But yeah, you know that, right? Okay, see ya!

(The three drones except for Khan leave.)

Khan: (sighs) I still think investing in doors was a much better plan than this.

Part 5[]

(Cut to a couple shots of San Francisco, then cut to a shot of an apartment complex located in Russian Hill, just outside of downtown. Uzi, N and V enter through the doors and enter an elevator. Uzi presses the button and the elevator doors close. Cut to Uzi, N and V exiting the elevator onto the floor. There, they meet a man in his late-30s, setting up a welcome decoration on his door.)

Timothy: Oh! Hello! We don't usually get robots in this apartment building, but when we do, they're usually don't look like humans.

Uzi: Yeah, yeah, whatevs. We're not as widespread as you humans anyway.

Timothy: What? No no no no, it's just that the robots we do see are usually Roombas, Amazon delivery drones, etc.

Uzi: Damn, technology has advanced so far.

Timothy: I know, right? Tell me about it. I'm Timothy, by the way. What are your names?

Uzi: I'm Uzi. He's N, she's V.

Timothy: Well, nice to meet you guys, I suppose.

N: Say, do you happen to know a Raymond Brown in this building?

Timothy: Raymond? Yeah, I know him, but I never see him get visitors that much.

Uzi: Yeah, it's a long story. Do you know where he lives?

Timothy: Yeah, I do. He lives just down the hall from here. I'll lead you to it.

(Timothy leads Uzi, N and V to the apartment that Raymond lives. He knocks on the door. A woman, mid-30s, answers the door.)

Kaylee: Oh, hey, Timothy. What brings you here? (she sees Uzi, N and V) Oh.

Timothy: Hey, Kaylee. These robots are here to meet Raymond or something? I don't know why, they just need to see him.

N: Hello!

Kaylee: Oh. Well, he's not available at the moment.

N: Huh?

V: Oh well, we tried. Come on, let's go-

Kaylee: But... I can go ask him if he's familiar with what's happening and let you guys get comfortable inside.

N: Sure, let's do that.

V: Ughhh.

(Uzi, N, V, and Timothy enter Raymond's apartment. They sit down in the living room.)

Kaylee: Raymond's in his room right now. Just give me a few minutes.

(Kaylee enters Raymond's room.)

Uzi: So... how long have you and Kaylee, and to an extent, Raymond, known each other?

Timothy: I've known Raymond since he moved into the building. I've helped him unload his stuff into this apartment, and he considers me a good friend since.

N: That's nice.

Timothy: Yeah. And as for Kaylee, it was a few years ago, when she started looking after Raymond in case he has some... disturbed flashbacks, to say the least. Also, I have a crush on her. But please don't tell her about it.

V: Don't worry, we won't. (whispers to N) I probably will.

Uzi: Ughh, I'm sick of waiting; when is this "Raymond Brown" gonna get here?

Raymond: (offscreen) Ease your hormones, little one.

(Uzi, N and V turn around. A man, late-40s, exits his room.)

Raymond: So I see you've been looking for me. I think I can help you with your little rebel plan.

N: This is him, Uzi.

Uzi: What? No. No! N, out of all the people you've found in the entire city, it had to be him, a human?!

N: Come on, Uzi. He's the best we've got. Give him a chance. Besides, I saw in his portfolio that he has some experience in fighting.

Uzi: Nuh-uh. No way! Bite me!

(Uzi exits the apartment.)

Raymond: So is that a yes? As in "Yes, I am humbly proud for you to join our team" or what?

N: Yeah, I guess so.

(A knock is heard on the door. Timothy goes to answer it. It was Uzi.)

Uzi: Fine, let me back in. I want to see if he deserves to be on our team.

Timothy: Access granted.

(Uzi re-enters the apartment.)

Raymond: You good?

Uzi: Bite me.

Raymond: I'll take that as a yes, then.

(Raymond sits down.)

Raymond: Now, I heard you needed me to help you fight back against these so-called "Disassembly Drones"?

Uzi: Yeah. But I didn't think it would be a human, though.

N: Jeez, I'm sorry.

Raymond: Hm. Very interesting rebels you three are. Fighting against your kind to protect each other. But as much as I'd like to help, I don't think I'd be as strong as you hoped. What you're fighting for is giving me... (sighs) flashbacks to a past I wished to forget.

N: What happened?

Raymond: Oh, you don't know. It was hell for those on the other side of the world, including myself. Let me take you all the way back to 2004, during the Iraq War.

(Fade to a flashback of Raymond in his 20s, participating in an active warground. Explosions and gunfire can be heard from all around.)

FALLUJAH, IRAQ
NOVEMBER 2004

Raymond: (voiceover) It was a massacre during that time. I lost so many teammates in that fight to protect our country. Some long-time friends, others I haven't known.

Raymond (20s): Shit! Get out of there, Ian!

(A soldier gets shot.)

Raymond (20s): Come on! Take cover!

(Explosions nearly hit Raymond. Raymond takes shelter in a house. A grenade is thrown inside.)

Raymond (20s): Grenade!

(He and several others try to run, but the force of the explosion pushes him to the ground. Cut to black with a high frequency sound playing.)

Raymond: (voiceover) Many innocent lives were lost that day, no matter if it was the winning or the losing team. When I woke up strapped to a hospital bed, I thought to myself how lucky I was to even survive that.

(Fade in to Raymond's POV as he awakens in a hospital bed. He sees some nurses trying to keep him alive.)

Nurse: I need a ventilator, stat!

(Raymond looks around. He is in a hospital with several of his fellow teammates. Then fade to the sequences Raymond states below.)

Raymond: (voiceover) When I was released, I knew things were never gonna be the same. I suffered from panic attacks and hallucinations, all because of the trauma I experienced in Iraq. I soon moved to San Francisco, hired Kaylee as my caretaker a couple years later, and prayed for there to be at least a shimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.

(Fade back to the present day.)

Raymond: And that was what happened.

(The three drones, especially Uzi, appear shocked at what Raymond told them.)

Uzi: Not gonna lie, that's kinda the whole reason I decided to initiate going after the rest of the Disassembly Drones too.

Raymond: Did they also take someone important from you aside from the rest of the Worker Drones they killed in the past?

Uzi: Not just any Worker Drone. My mother.

(Fade to a flashback of the Doorman family when the Disassembly Drones were first deployed.)

Uzi: (voiceover) When those Disassembly Drones came by, my family were unable to protect themselves from the danger.

(Khan, Nori, and Uzi are seen running behind a wall.)

Khan: We need to find shelter now!

Nori: The nearest one is two miles away! We gotta stay low.

(A Disassembly Drone can be seen sneaking up from behind Khan.)

Nori: Khan, look out!

(Nori intervenes and the scene cuts away as she is stung by the Disassembly Drone's Nanite Acid, with only her shadow being visible.)

Uzi: (voiceover) My mother sacrificed herself so we could be safe.

Khan: Nori!

Uzi: Mom!

(Nori is twitching uncontrollably, as the Nanite Acid infects her. Khan and Uzi run toward her.)

Uzi: Mom... no...

Nori: Uzi... look after your father for me, okay? Protect him at all costs. Let them bite you.

Uzi: I will.

(Nori nods. Then she looks at Khan and holds his hands.)

Nori: Khan. Do whatever it takes to protect the other Worker Drones from those monsters. Build strong, sturdy doors if you have to. But no matter what it is, Worker Drone-kind must keep going.

(She hands Khan a wrench.)

Nori: Do it.

Khan: What? No. Nori, I can't do this!

Nori: You have to. It's the only way.

(Khan knew he had to.)

Uzi: Dad?

Khan: (sighs) Look away, Uzi.

Nori: I love you two.

(Nori gladly accepts her fate and shuts her eyes as Khan kills her with the wrench, just as we cut back to present day.)

Uzi: Back then, she felt like my only friend. And now, her loss just gave me more motivation to go up against these things.

Timothy: Oh...

Raymond: I'm very sorry for your loss, Uzi. I'm sure she was the humblest Worker Drone you've ever known.

Uzi: She was, alright. Despite the tense arguments we may have, I still love her from the bottom of my heart. The only thing that matters now is avenging her, and all of Worker Drone kind.

Raymond: I see.

Uzi: Well, looks like we both have something in common: losing the people we love the most from our enemies.

Raymond: Yeah.

Uzi: I'll admit, even though I'm not that fond of you guys, I guess I'm willing to make exceptions at times like this. Welcome to the team, Raymond. Or should I call you Ray to make things easier?

(Uzi offers her hand to Raymond.)

Raymond: Either are fine, I suppose.

(Raymond accepts and shakes Uzi's hand.)

Raymond: Okay, Uzi. What's the plan?

Uzi: First things first, we visit the belly of the beast: JCJenson's headquarters.

Timothy: Which is...?

Uzi: Silicon Valley. That's where it is, but we're gonna need to know more about it before we can go there. We'll get our info from JCJenson employees. That way, we come prepared.

Raymond: Alright. Good plan. (he turns to Kaylee) Kaylee.

Kaylee: Yeah?

Raymond: Search up anything related to JCJenson. See if they have an office building around here in the city. They may know what happens there.

Kaylee: On it.

(Kaylee opens a laptop and starts searching.)

Timothy: You know, I remember hearing about the announcement JCJenson made about exterminating you guys, if that's correct. Like, I can't believe they'd do such a thing. That's just effed up.

Uzi: Tell me about it.

N: Fortunately for me and V, we're on the good side!

V: Not really. I'm just here to watch her. (makes a gesture at Uzi)

Timothy: (slight chuckle) That's pretty cute.

Kaylee: Okay. I found on the map that they have an office building located in the city. 250 Main Street to be exact.

Raymond: That's in downtown.

Uzi: Okay. So now that we know that they’re around here as well, we should try asking them a few questions when we get there. If they don’t, let’s just say things might get a little messy.

Timothy: How "messy"?

Uzi: This messy. (she pulls out her railgun)

Timothy: Holy hell. That actually looks badass.

Raymond: Not bad. But if that's the case, we're gonna need a lot more than just that.

(Raymond walks to a shelf and opens a box with pistols and submachine guns.)

Raymond: Here. Hope you know how to use a gun. (he throws a pistol at Timothy) Don't worry, safety switch is on.

Timothy: Uhh... no, I don't?

Raymond: Well, time to learn, Timmy boy.

Timothy: Oh Jesus.

N: Ah, I'm sure you got this.

(Raymond cocks an Uzi, with Uzi herself emitting a playful chuckle.)

Raymond: I had to, okay? I still have my sense of humor.

Uzi: Yeah, I get it.

Kaylee: Hey, Raymond, can I talk to you for a sec?

Raymond: Sure.

(Raymond and Kaylee walk to a corner.)

Kaylee: So, uhh, I understand you want to help these robots and all, but are you sure this is a good idea? I feel like this may be a bit too much for you, given the gravity of their situation. Heck, you literally told them your backstory.

Raymond: (sighs) Look, Kaylee, despite what happened to me, I still see no reason to back down from a fight. When I was serving my time in the army, I promised myself to always keep going, no matter the situation. And what you said to me about using my memories to form my future? That's what I'm trying to go for here. I know they haven't been the best, but from what I've learned from you, they are somewhat helping me.

Kaylee: That wasn't what I was going for, though.

Raymond: Yeah, I doubt it. Listen, you get the car ready, and I'll help them load up. Looks like these people won't know what's gonna hit them.

Kaylee: Okay.

(Cut to the outside of Raymond's apartment, with him, Uzi, and Timothy entering his car.)

Kaylee: Alright, I already contacted them for a special appointment, so you should have no problems getting in. Also, mind if I stay here in case anything bad happens over here?

Raymond: You know, that's kinda a good point. I guess you can stay behind. Just take care of yourself, okay?

Kaylee: Got it, Ray-Ray.

Raymond: (playfully) Whatever, Kay-Kay.

(He starts the engine as the car drives off, while N and V fly.)

Uzi: What the hell was that about?

Raymond: I thought I told her we were done with that nickname.

(Cut to James, writing some papers, when he receives a call.)

James: Hello?

J: James, it's J.

James: J? I'm in the middle of something, why are you calling me at a time like this?

(Cut to J, who is sitting on a rooftop.)

J: We've got another situation in our hands. V has not returned any of my calls, and she hasn't reported back to me if she found N or not.

James: What?

J: I know. Now we've got two synergistic liabilities on our record.

James: Shoot... Okay, I'm gonna send someone to help you with your problem. Just stay where you are.

J: Will do.

(J hangs up. James sighs and goes to the desk phone. He enters a phone number.)

James: Hey, Tessa. I've got something important for you. Come here, and I'll brief you.

Part 6[]

(A montage of the car driving through the city plays until it stops at the nearby JCJenson building, as "Extermination" plays. N and V also land near there.)

Uzi: Welp, let's make this quick, everybody.

(The group enters the building, where they are greeted by the local office head, who was chatting with the receptionist.)

Damien: Ah, I've been expecting you. (extends his hand to the group) I'm Damien McLeod, head of JCJenson's office in San Francisco.

Raymond: (shakes Damien's hand) Raymond Brown, former member of the US Army.

Damien: Well, I'll be damned. Thank you for your service. And who may these be?

Raymond: This is Uzi, a Worker Drone. Those are N and V, Disassembly Drones. And that's Timothy, my neighbor.

Damien: Disassembly Drones? Aren't they supposed to be out hunting for Worker Drones?

N: No, we're angsty rebellious Disassembly Drones now.

V: (quietly) Except for me.

Uzi: Really?

Damien: Okay. Anyways, looks like you've got a packed party. How about we continue this conversation at my office? This might seem private.

(They approach the elevator.)

Security Officer: Hey, boss, we need to do a security check on these visitors.

Damien: No need for concern, sir. They're with me.

(They all enter the elevator. Cut to them on the top floor.)

Damien: You know, here at JCJenson, we strive to have you comfortable in the most fashioned way possible. Because liability is our passion, and safety is the result.

(Uzi looks at the employees in their desks. They don't seem to be as happy as Damien claims, typing on their computers and writing papers, dead inside. She doesn't say anything.)

Damien: And although we seem to have those who claim we have forced them to work overtime for free, we can assure you, no such thing has ever happened in this office. (he pulls up a box of JCJenson-branded pens) Pens?

N: (reaching for the pens) Ooh, deal me in-

Uzi: Actually, we're good. Thank you.

Damien: You sure? They're free.

Uzi: Yes, we're sure.

Damien: 'Kay. Suit yourself.

(He throws the box on a chair.)

Uzi: (to N) Focus, N. Focus.

(They reach Damien's office.)

Damien: Alright. Here we are. If there's anything you need to ask, don't hesitate. I'll be waiting.

(Damien enters his office.)

Uzi: (quietly) Okay. So Raymond and I will go inside and interrogate Damien into telling us more about the HQ. If anything goes wrong, you guys come in. We'll need some backup.

Timothy: (quietly) Sounds like a plan.

Raymond: (quietly) Good. We'll alert you if we need backup.

N: (quietly) Good luck!

(Uzi and Raymond enter Damien's office. Damien sits on his chair while Uzi and Raymond sit on the guest chairs.)

Damien: Can I start you off with some water?

Raymond: No, we're fine. Besides, she doesn't drink water.

Uzi: I'm a Worker Drone.

Damien: Oh, right. I've seen so many Worker Drones get destroyed that I've almost forgotten about them, and their behavior.

Raymond: (to Uzi, quietly) Now.

(Uzi locks the door, closes the blinds, and turns off the lights.)

Damien: What are you doing? You're not supposed to do that.

(Damien gets punched in the face by Raymond.)

Damien: Ow! What the-?!

(The lights turn back on. Raymond grabs Damien by his collar.)

Raymond: You will answer our questions. Got it?

Damien: "Answer your questions"? Wha- what's going on here?

Raymond: You know why we're here. We're not here for some "meeting" or whatever the hell that woman on the phone told you about. We need answers. And you give them to us.

Damien: (scoffs) Really? And what if I refuse?

(Damien and Raymond turn to Uzi, who has her railgun pointed at Damien.)

Uzi: One mistake, and I'll do it.

(Damien looks at the railgun, then at Uzi and Raymond. After a few moments of silence, he breathes in.)

Damien: Okay. You want answers? Fine. I'll give you answers.

Uzi: (lowers her railgun) You're lucky things didn't get worse. Now talk.

Raymond: First question: what does JCJenson have against the Worker Drones?

Damien: What?

Raymond: What does JCJenson have against the Worker Drones?

Damien: I don't know, they're just getting rid of them because they claim AI is getting more advanced as time goes on, which they clearly don't have.

Raymond: Uzi, write his answers down.

Uzi: Got it.

(Uzi writes down Damien's answer to the first question on a sticky note.)

Raymond: Second question: how are the Disassembly Drones powered?

Damien: "Powered"? What am I supposed to say, electricity?

Uzi: It's oil. But that's not what he's asking. Are they powered by an external source?

Damien: How am I supposed to know that? I don't work at the main headquarters.

Raymond: Just say whatever you know!

Damien: Okay! I believe there's something over there that has every single stat on all of them! Some kind of control panel, as far as I remember.

Raymond: Write that down.

(Uzi writes down the second answer.)

Raymond: Third question: is JCJenson aware of what we're doing?

Damien: As far as I'm concerned, no. Or at least I don't think so. I was never told we would be monitored.

(Ditto.)

Raymond: Fourth question: is the JCJenson headquarters heavily guarded?

Damien: Well, I would say there are plenty of security guards and surveillance cameras everywhere.

(Ditto.)

Raymond: Final questions: how do we get to the source that powers the Disassembly Drones, and how do we disable it?

Damien: What? I'm not giving you any of that!

Raymond: Answer the question.

Damien: No, I'm not going to!

Raymond: ANSWER THE GODDAMN QUESTION!

Damien: I'm not telling you shit!

Raymond: Fine. You leave me no choice. Uzi?

(Uzi powers up her railgun.)

Uzi: And I thought we were gonna make this quick.

Damien: No! No! Stop! Okay, fine, I'll tell you everything I know! You win! Just don't hurt me.

(Uzi powers down her railgun.)

Uzi: (to herself) Dammit! Just when I had the chance.

Damien: There's a room hidden within the centers of the JCJenson headquarters. It contains everything about the Disassembly Drones, from commands to stats to locations. The room can only be accessible by top-ranking members of the company.

Raymond: Okay. What else?

Damien: I believe there's something that can disable any Disassembly Drone you wish to execute, but that's all I know! Please, don't kill me.

Uzi: Should we?

(Raymond thinks whether or not Uzi should kill Damien.)

Raymond: No. (he lets go of Damien) He's no use anymore. Come on, Uzi.

Damien: (relieved) Thank you.

(Raymond and Uzi exit the room. Uzi pulls two middle fingers at Damien.)

Uzi: (quietly) Suck on that, bitch!

(As soon as they both close the door, Damien frantically reaches for the phone.)

Damien: Get me all officers you have available on floor 50 now. And lock down the building.

(Cut to Uzi and Raymond exiting Damien's office.)

N: You guys got the info?

Uzi: Absolutely. Now let's get out of here and prepare ourselves! JCJenson is going down tonight!

(An alarm blares. All the windows are closed down and all of the doors are locked.)

Raymond: What the hell?

(Cut to officers from the lower floors running up the stairs. Then cut to Damien, who exits his office.)

Damien: Not before you go down first!

Raymond: What's going on here?

Damien: Did you really think I was going to let you get away with the information I just gave you?

Uzi: Um... (as she looks at Raymond starts to aim his Uzi at Damien) Yes!

Raymond: Listen here, Damien. I almost became a victim in the Iraq War, and I have been a changed man ever since I got back. Do not let me do this to you.

Damien: Well, I'm sorry to hear that, Raymond. But you know I can't let you off the hook that easily, especially since one: you threatened to kill someone, and two: I gave you classified information about the company. Look, we can either do this the easy way, or we can do this the hard way. You choose, veteran.

(Damien's "veteran" echoes in Raymond's mind as he starts to have visions about the times he spent during the Iraq War, including seeing his teammates get killed. Enraged, he shoots at Damien's left arm with the Uzi.)

Damien: (in pain) Gah! Seize them!

Uzi: Oh crap! Alright, enough chit-chat, everybody! Let's pop all their heads off!

(Everyone goes to their battle positions, as the intro to "Get Rekt" starts playing. N wields three shurikens.)

Uzi: Wha- I want a frickin' ninja star!

N: (clings on to Uzi) Next time.

(N throws the three shurikens as they pass by the camera in slow-motion. They impale three officers just as the beat drop of "Get Rekt" cues. The officers shoot their guns at the gang, as Uzi and N push each other to dodge their bullets. Raymond hides behind a wall, then shoots two officers. V wields two submachine guns and shoots a couple officers while doing a 360. Timothy, as well as many other employees, takes cover under a desk. An officer spots him, but Timothy shoots him with his pistol.)

Timothy: Sorry! First time!

(More sequences occur, such as: Raymond shooting officers with the Uzi, V clawing others, and Uzi and N working together to kill the officers. Cut to a cleaner cleaning a stain on the floor, listening to "On Melancholy Hill", unaware of what's going on. Uzi makes some acrobatic moves, pushing officers into the floor. One officer charges at Uzi, but N intervenes and pushes him. The officer crashes into the cleaner, and both of them are thrown the building. Cut to a passing car with "Just Can't Get Enough" playing on the radio. The officer lands on the windshield, startling the driver, while the cleaner lands on the road. Cut back to the building fight, where N realizes he also killed the cleaner.)

N: Whoops! Sorry, innocent cleaning guy!

(Timothy chooses to get out from under the desk and shoot a few officers.)

Timothy: Ha ha ha! Come on, guys! Get out of here!

(The employees make a run for the stairs. Meanwhile, Uzi grabs her railgun and jumps over N in slow-motion. She pulls the trigger, which emits a neon-green beam that is shot at a group of officers, causing a huge explosion. A huge opening is seen from the exterior of the building as the smoke clears. V and Raymond finish killing the other officers.)

V: Finally, it's over.

Uzi: Ughh, where the hell is that Damien guy? I swear, I'm gonna kill him! And just when I had the chance too!

Raymond: Forget him. (cleans off a blood stain on his right shoulder) He's not our problem anymore.

(Cut to the ground, where people are running from the scene. The heroes exit the office building as Uzi, Raymond, and Timothy get in the car.)

Raymond: Come on. Let's head back to the apartment. We'll need more bullets for this.

(Raymond drives the car back to the apartment. Crane down to Damien, badly injured, watching their car leave the scene. He opens his phone and dials James.)

James: (automated) Hey, it's James. Leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. (beep)

Damien: James, it's Damien. I just wanted to let you know that you'll be seeing some unwanted visitors at JCJenson headquarters.

(Cut to Raymond's apartment.)

Kaylee: Oh! You're back! I assume it all went well?

Uzi: For sure it did.

Raymond: We're just here to re-supply.

Kaylee: Oh. That's a first in a long time.

Raymond: Don't remind me.

Kaylee: (quietly) Sorry.

(While the others were re-stocking, N approaches Uzi.)

N: Hey, Uzi?

Uzi: What's up?

N: I was really impressed with what you did back there. You know, all of those ninja-esque battle moves you did?

Uzi: Oh, yeah. Watch too many action movies and anime, and this is what will happen.

N: (laughs) I'm sure.

(Uzi starts to feel something in her heart. Her visor makes blush-like expressions.)

Uzi: Hey, thanks for saving me back there. I really needed it.

N: You did?

Uzi: Yeah. Otherwise, I would've been sold for scrap.

(Uzi grabs N's hand and both walk over to the kitchen.)

Uzi: While we're still here alone, I just wanted to tell you that... I have a crush on you.

N: Wait, what? Really?!

Uzi: Yeah. Ever since we met that fateful night, I couldn't help but feel something in my heart refraining to you. And when I said if we could be together forever, I actually meant it. I think we were meant to be together. Not sure why I felt that way, but... sometimes relationships don't spark with a slow burn, I suppose.

(N was speechless.)

N: Oh my gosh... While we're still on the topic, I also wanted to say I have a crush on you.

Uzi: Oh... well, looks like fate has decided for us, then.

N: Yeah. It really did.

(Uzi and N make blush faces. Timothy sees the conversation.)

Timothy: Hey, uh, don't want to break the mood, but I think you two could make a cute couple.

Uzi and N: What?!

(They back away from each other and try to act like nothing happened.)

Timothy: What? What's the problem?

N: We weren't talking about dating and stuff. We were just complimenting what we did back there.

Uzi: Yeah. Why would I date someone that is trying to kill me?

Timothy: (chuckles) I've been there before. Don't worry, you'll get over it eventually.

(Timothy walks away. Uzi and N look at each other in embarassment.)

Raymond: Everyone, I have an announcement.

(Everyone gathers in the living room.)

Raymond: So we all know what our plan is tonight, right?

Uzi: Break into JCJenson headquarters and stop every Disassembly Drone (minus N and V) from ever functioning again? Hell yeah!

Raymond: Like that energy there, Uzi. Just wanted to say that tonight was the best thing that's ever happened to me since my time in the war. And although I may receive flashbacks of the horrific times, that will not deter me from the fact that we have a whole race to save from extermination. So no matter what happens, I just want to wish you all good luck. Any questions?

Kaylee: Can I come with you guys? I'll drive the car.

Raymond: Sure. We'll need a getaway driver just in case.

(Cut to the garage, where the car starts its engine.)

Raymond: Well, guys, I guess there's only one thing to do.

Uzi: Take out the trash. Is everyone ready?

Raymond: As a former servant of the country, I was born ready.

V: What do you expect from me, I'm just gonna sit this out like a coward?

Timothy: I'm kinda tense right now... but now that the chips are down, I'm ready, too.

Kaylee: Me too. Even though I'll just be sitting here in the car.

Uzi: N?

(Before N responds, he shares a look with Uzi.)

N: Ready for you, Uzi.

Uzi: Alright, everyone! To JCJenson we go!

(Kaylee steps on the pedal as they drive off to Silicon Valley.)

Part 7[]

A FEW HOURS EARLIER

(Around the same time Uzi, N, and V left, three Disassembly Drones are seen patrolling near the area. Then cut to Thad, who is leaning on a lamp post. Thad sees Lizzy and Doll and wave at them. The latter two approach him.)

Thad: Ah, great. You made it.

Lizzy: So what is the plan anyway? Ask Mr. Doorman where Uzi is?

Thad: Yeah.

Lizzy: (sighs) Can you explain to us why we're doing this? We don't even know what Uzi's life outside of school is, other than wanting to destroy the Disassembly Drones.

Thad: Look, there has to be someone who is, at the very least, worried about her. And that someone is me.

Lizzy: You know, Uzi can just show up tomorrow, completely unharmed, and you'll see that maybe this was a waste of time. Come on, Doll.

(Thad grabs Lizzy by her arm.)

Thad: Listen to me, Lizzy. You too, Doll. I have seen nothing but Uzi getting trampled by some random people that don't even care about her. And that sickens me, you know? The fact that us Worker Drones don't even try to stand up for her is beyond me. Why can't you at least show some sympathy for that poor drone? She's just like us, but more braver and stronger than any. But what do you do? You just treat her like she's some cheap robot that was made in China! So what can you say for yourself?

(Lizzy stood silent for a second. Then, she says this.)

Lizzy: Thad. Doll and I know Uzi more than anyone other than you. It's just that what she's doing to herself is absurd. Going up against an entire line of robots that are twice her size and could possibly demolish her in under a second? Come on, you can't deny that sounds crazier than ever.

Doll: Поддерживаю это./Second that.

Thad: I know it sounds ridiculous, but seeing what Uzi's been cooking ever since they were launched, I'm sure she knows what she's doing. So come on, you're helping me find where she is, or I swear to Robo-god, I'm gonna leak this picture of you during that Christmas party last year to the whole school!

(Thad shows Lizzy a picture of the latter acting rather drunk and dumping a bucket of oil on an electric box.)

Thad: So what's it gonna be?

(Beat.)

Lizzy: Fine. I'm going. Doll?

Doll: Обычно я так не делаю, но ладно, неважно. Я пойду. В любом случае, это месть за мою семью./I don't usually do this, but okay, whatever. I'll go. This is vengeance for my family, anyway.

Thad: Good.

(The three hear the Disassembly Drones near the area.)

Thad: Crap! It's Mr. Doorman's place!

Lizzy: Okay, so what are we gonna do?

Thad: We gotta help him, obviously! Come on!

(Thad runs off.)

Lizzy: We're gonna get killed, I swear.

(Lizzy and Doll follow him. As the Disassembly Drones search around for Worker Drones, one of them sees Khan inside the Doorman household, drinking from his "#1 Dad" mug. He grabs the family picture of him, Uzi, and Nori, sadly contemplating on what could have been. A loud thud is heard at the door. Khan sees the door being pried open by Disassembly Drone claws. Once the door is torn off, a Disassembly Drone enters the house.)

Reaper: FRESH... MEAT...

(As he looks around, Khan is seen hiding behind a wall, going back to his room as fast as he could without making a sound. He hides under his bed in hopes to hide from the Drone trying to kill him. A few moments pass by with him trembling in fear, before Khan's thoughts become too quiet.)

Uzi: (voiceover) The fact that these Murder Drones are killing every single Worker Drone they find, and no one but me wants to do anything about it! I'm so sick of hearing all these "Oh, it'll blow off soon! Don't worry too much about it!" bullshit! Want to know why? Because it's never gonna happen! We've lost so much, we can't lose even more again. So, either you die trying to kill these murderers instead of waiting for your precious doors to be installed, or so bite me! It's certainly better than just giving up, am I right or am I wrong?

(However, just as he is reflecting, his peace is interrupted when Reaper pulls up the bed from its place and throws it aside. Khan tries to run away, but is immediately pinned to the wall by his would-be killer.)

Khan: No... please... don't.

Reaper: Your attempts to resist are... laughable. Goodbye forever.

(As Reaper closes in, Khan tries to find anything to deter him, ultimately settling on a pen in one of his pockets. He stabs Reaper in one of his eyes, causing him to yowl in pain as he leaves him quickly.)

Reaper: ALPHA! BETA! GET OVER HERE AND GET THE WORKER DRONE!

Alpha: (voiceover) Roger that. I'll be comin' over there, though Beta's still got another drone to take care of, too.

Reaper: Understood. Now let's finish the job!

(Cut to Thad, Lizzy and Doll running on the street.)

Lizzy: I'm telling you, Thad, if this gets us killed, you are taking the blame.

Thad: Still better than doing nothing, am I right? Come on, it's just right here-

(A Disassembly Drone blasts through the glass, startling them. It pins down Thad. Cut to Khan running into Uzi's room, rummaging for something.)

Khan: (under his breath) Where is it? Where is it? Where is it? (notices a rolled-up blueprint) Ah, found it!

(Along with the blueprint, Khan runs out of the house, finding a gun and a metal rod. Alpha lands in front of him.)

Alpha: Stay down, Worker!

Khan: Never.

(Khan slaps Alpha in the visor with the metal rod and stabs him in the visor with it as well before pulling it out and running off. Cut to Thad being pinned down by Beta, with Doll and Lizzy looking in shock.)

Beta: It's time to die, Worker Drone.

Thad: (through his teeth) Oh, yeah? Well we're not going down without a fight! (kicks Beta in the chest)

Beta: You're gonna pay for that!

(Beta rushes at Thad before the Disassembly Drone is stabbed by Khan throwing his metal rod at him.)

Thad: Mr. Doorman? Wha-

Khan: We're running out of time, kiddos. We- (gets tackled by Reaper)

Reaper: Did you think you could hide from us forever, coward?

(Alpha and Beta corner Khan as well. He then picks up the gun he found and uses it to shoot at the three Disassembly Drones surrounding him. Thad picks up the metal rod.)

Reaper: Gah! Alpha! Beta! Take care of the other two drones for me!

(Alpha and Beta rush towards Lizzy and Doll's direction, but Thad intervenes. He whacks both of them with the metal rod and stabs Alpha in the chest before being tackled by Beta.)

Beta: Stand down!

Thad: Not another chance.

(Thad stabs him in the visor as Doll joins in by viciously hitting Alpha with a sledgehammer while Lizzy records the whole fight.)

Lizzy: Go get him, girl!

Doll: (while slaughtering Alpha) Это для моей семьи, чудовище!/This is for my family, you monster!

(Doll thrusts the sledgehammer and impales Alpha through the chest, and bisects him but lifting it up. Meanwhile, Khan duels with Reaper in a fight. They clash their weapons of choice with each other before swinging at Khan with his scythe, sending him flying to a wall.)

Reaper: You made me play with my food LONG ENOUGH!

(Before Reaper could deliver a blow on Khan, Thad throws the rod, stabbing him through the head. With Doll having taken care of Alpha and Beta, she rips Reaper in half. Khan finds a nearby car and enters it.)

Khan: Kiddos! Get in, before they could regenerate!

(Thad, Lizzy, and Doll pile up in the car before driving off quickly.)

Doll: Куда мы пойдем дальше, мистер швейцар?/Where do we go from here, Mr. Doorman?

Khan: Our house isn't the best option at the moment since that Murder Drone broke in. Do you have any ideas?

Thad: I suppose we can go to my place. Shouldn't be too far off.

Lizzy: Wow. I never knew you were that vicious, Doll.

Doll: Что я могу сказать? Они отняли у меня семью, самое меньшее, что я мог сделать в ответ, это отнять у них жизни./What can I say? They've taken my family away from me, the least I could do back is take away their lives.

Khan: Uzi was right. It's not wise to just sit around and wait for those Murder Drones to kill us. We need to take action against these monsters, and probably JCJenson too while we're at it.

Doll: На этот раз я могу согласиться с заявлением Узи по этому поводу. Было глупо с моей стороны просто думать, что все это скоро сдуется. Если мы хотим, чтобы это произошло, мы должны стать теми изменениями, которые хотим увидеть./For once, I can agree with Uzi's statement on this one. It was stupid of me to just think all of this will blow off soon. If we want that to happen, we must be the change we want to see.

Thad: Yeah. So, what do we do, Mr. Doorman?

Khan: Simple. We storm JCJenson and get to the bottom of all of this once and for all. But first, we're going to need weapons to fend ourselves with. We're not going unprepared in this battlefield. That's why I took these blueprints that could help us.

(He hands over the blueprints to the three.)

Doll: Рельсовая пушка Узи?/Uzi's railgun?

Lizzy: (scoffs) We're gonna blow ourselves up with these, aren't we?

Khan: We're gonna need to make more like that against them. And more efficient versions, to be exact. It's time we help end this suffering forever.

Thad: We couldn't agree more.

(As the four drones drive off, we cut to J at the rooftop of an airport as she watches the news.)

News Reporter: This just in. Chaos sparked in the JCJenson branch at San Francisco. Two Disassembly Drones, two civilians, and a Worker Drone were spotted engaging in battle with officers inside the building. Around sixty people confirmed dead. Police are advising residents to remain vigilant at this time. If you have any information regarding these assailants, do not hesitate to contact law enforcement.

J: Ugh, JCJenson is not going to be happy about this.

(J receives a call from James.)

James: (voiceover) J?

J: Yes, boss?

James: We've got a JCJenson technician from Australia coming in. Meet her inside the airport. Over.

J: Right away, boss.

(J flies off the rooftop and goes inside of the airport's waiting lobby, noticing a woman in an astronaut suit already waiting for her.)

Tessa: Hiya, buddy! I'm Tessa Elliott. (offers her hand) Nice to meet you!

J: Uh, likewise. (shakes hands with Tessa) I'm Serial Designation J. What's with the outfit?

Tessa: Oh, this? I just look better this way. Gives me an "out-of-this-world" kind-of vibe, if you get what I mean.

J: Right… So what brings you here? Company orders?

Tessa: Pretty much. I heard you needed assistance, after your other mates abandoned you?

J: Yeah.

Tessa: Well, that's a shame.

J: And that's why I'll need someone to come with me, so we can sort this out.

Tessa: Alright. You can go on without me, I'll just grab a taxi.

J: Why not just let me bring you there?

Tessa: Ah, you know, I don't want to take the risk of falling to my death because of some slip-up. Plus, I just got off the plane.

J: Fine. I guess I'll just text you the meeting point. I just need your number.

Tessa: Oh, right!

(Tessa grabs J's phone and puts in her number.)

Tessa: And there you go!

J: 'K. Guess I'll just see you there then.

Tessa: Later.

(J flew off. Tessa waved her hand at a taxi. The taxi stopped, and Tessa entered.)

Taxi Driver: Alright, where to?

Tessa: Just head to Downtown. I'll decide from there.

(The taxi left the airport.)

Taxi Driver: So what's in it for you today, miss? Business or pleasure?

Tessa: Let's just say business.

Taxi Driver: Ooh, Australian accent, I see, eh?

Tessa: Yeah, I'm from Australia. Why?

Taxi Driver: Nothing, really. I just find it interesting. Say, your outfit kinda reminds me of Daft Punk.

Tessa: Who?

Taxi Driver: Daft Punk. Here, I'll play a song.

(The taxi driver plays "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" on his phone.)

Taxi Driver: See what I mean?

(Tessa sighs, then looks out the window.)

Tessa: I should've went with J instead.

(She receives a notification from J, which says: "250 MAIN ST.")

Tessa: 250 Main Street, please.

Taxi Driver: Alrighty.

("Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" continues playing as the taxi reaches San Francisco. It pulls up to the street where J texted Tessa to meet her.)

Tessa: Here. (she gives the money) Good day.

Taxi Driver: (counts the money) Hey, no tip? I just got you to your destination.

(Tessa already left the car.)

Taxi Driver: (under his breath) Okay then, (mouthing) little fucker.

(Cut to Tessa, who spots J in the distance, drinking coolant.)

J: Oh. You made it. So how was the trip?

Tessa: Meh.

J: Told ya you should've come with me.

Tessa: Don't even say it.

(They see some police cars surrounding the JCJenson San Francisco building.)

Tessa: Is this what you needed me for?

J: Yes. 'Cause I have a positive assurance this will help us find our traitors.

(J and Tessa walk over to the base, going under police tape.)

Police Officer: Hey, you can't go there! This is police activity.

Tessa: Oh, don't mind us! We'll handle this crime scene investigation! We're official JCJenson employees.

Police Officer: Regardless, you can't enter without legal permission from us.

J: Oh, really? (J wields a gun at the police officer) How about now?

Police Officer: (wields his gun) Drop your weapon, miss. You are wielding a gun at an officer, and that is punishable by law.

J: Is it now? Even to robots? Go ahead, try and-

Tessa: Actually, sir, just let us be. We'll take our business somewhere else.

Police Officer: Good. (he puts down his gun) You're lucky I don't feel like arresting anyone tonight. I'll let you off with a warning. Don't get into any more trouble, folks.

(J and Tessa walk away.)

J: What are you doing?

Tessa: Chill. We'll find another way.

(She looks at the opening on the side of the building.)

Tessa: Wait. It's a short distance, so you can just blast us over there, right?

J: Seriously? Literally after you refused the first time, you choose now to do this?

Tessa: Yeah. Only this time, it's not a long distance.

J: Okay. Makes sense, I guess.

(J spreads her wings, and Tessa climbs onto her.)

J: Careful. They're sharp.

(J and Tessa fly up and reach floor 50 of the building, where there are chalk outlines on the floor and many openings in the walls and windows.)

Tessa: Holy- what happened here?

J: Huge board meetings. That's what happened here.

(J and Tessa explore the massacre, finding more scratches and holes throughout the entire room as they walk throughout the floor. J scans for any DNA left by those involved, while Tessa examines the desks. Then, J scans something unusual. It was some kind of DNA left by a Worker Drone.)

J: Tessa?

Tessa: Hm?

J: Come here.

(Tessa walks over to J.)

J: Looks like our prisoner left something pleasant for us.

(Tessa examines the DNA closely.)

Tessa: Hm, you're right. Looks to be some DNA left by a Worker Drone. You have something that could identify who this belongs to?

J: (switches her hand to a DNA storage) Always prepared.

(Tessa puts a sample of the DNA into a test tube and stores it in.)

Tessa: Righty-O. Looks like we've got some work to do, eh, J? Maintenance work.

Part 8[]

(Cut to the main heroes' car arriving at the JCJenson headquarters parking lot. N and V were already there.)

Uzi: Well guys, this is it. The final level.

Timothy: I know, right? It's crazy.

N: And to think the fate of Worker Drone-kind depends on us.

Uzi: Yeah. I can't believe it.

Raymond: Kaylee, you'll be staying in the car. If anyone goes wrong, you're our getaway driver.

Kaylee: Got it.

(Uzi turns to the building.)

Uzi: Tonight will be the night history changes forever.

(The gang approaches the building as "Tick of the Clock" starts playing. They climb up the wall to reach a ventilation shaft. V unscrews the bolts and opens the hood, dropping it on the ground, which makes a loud crashing noise.)

Uzi: Keep it down!

(The five enter the air-vent. Uzi uses her phone's flashlight to light the path. There were dust particles floating around in the air.)

Uzi: (putting on her mask) Oh robo-god, I hate this.

(The five crawl through the vent until they can see another opening on the ground. Uzi slowly and carefully unscrews the bolts on that one, and they drop down from it one-by-one, slowly. Uzi and Raymond look both ways to see if any security guards are coming, while N and V look for any surveillance cameras. As they venture around the building, it seems as if no one is around.)

Timothy: Huh, did they abandon this place before we arrived?

Uzi: Either that or we're getting a false sense of security over here.

(They come across the hallway that leads to a control room. They enter. Inside is all the info for the Disassembly Drones. From personal info, stats, you name it, it's all there.)

Uzi: Here it is. The turning point.

(Uzi looks at the system that controls the Disassembly Drones, looking for a "Disable" function. She scrolls down until she finds it. She checks all Disassembly Drones except for N and V.)

Uzi: Well guys, before we change history, is there anything we'd like to say?

Raymond: It's been an honor working with you guys.

N: And I'm glad we got to spend time together.

Uzi: Alright. Here comes the moment of truth. Three, two, one-

(Before they could execute the command, a light starts glowing around the room.)

Uzi: What the-?

(The light flashes, causing Uzi, N, and V to become bootlooped.)

Raymond and Timothy: Uzi!

(Raymond and Timothy get tasered by JCJenson security guards. Cut to black for a few seconds before we fade in to Uzi awakening from her bootloop state, tied up in ropes to a chair. Raymond and Timothy awaken too, also tied up in chairs, while N and V also awaken from their bootloop states, tied together. They're in what appears to be James' office.)

Uzi: Guys! What happened?!

Timothy: Ow... what just...?

V: Who did this?!

(A man swivels his chair around to face the group.)

James: (chuckles) Well, well, well! I should've known you'd be coming.

Timothy: (gasps quietly) It's him!

Uzi: And I should've known that keeping our guard down was a bad idea!

James: Nice assumptions you have there, Uzi Doorman.

Uzi: How do you know my name?

James: Lucky guess, it seems. (he walks over to N) And N, the one who started it all. I'm sure you're feeling real proud of yourself, now that you've ended up in this situation, are you? (he taps N's cheek)

N: No. You're a monster!

James: (sarcastically) Ouch. That hurt me.

(V attempts to wield a weapon, but her arms can't seem to retract.)

James: Oh, V, you're struggling? Yeah, I disabled some of your commands while you were out.

Uzi: Let me guess, that Damien guy told you we were coming, didn't he?

James: Take a look for yourself.

(Damien emerges from a shadowy part of the office. His left arm had a cast on it.)

Damien: 'Sup. Guilty as charged, you feeble bitches.

Timothy: (gasps) You asshole!

Uzi: Bite me! We're not feeble!

James: Are you sure about that? My father would say otherwise.

Uzi: Your father? What are you talking about?

James: You see, you and all the other Worker Drones around the world right now aren't what you think you are. You're part of something he started long ago called "The Killer Robot Experiment".

Uzi: (sports a shocked look) What?

James: Oh, you don't know, do you? Well, lucky for you, I'm here to explain.

(Fade to a series of flashbacks, starting off with James' father in the 1980s, who was working at a JCJenson office.)

James: (voiceover) It all began in the 80s, back when JCJenson was finding its feat in the market. My father, who at the time was an employee of the company, saw the huge potential artificial intelligence had, including how it mimicked human actions. So he got to work on the first prototype of the Worker Drone.

(Show James' father sketching out drawings of the Worker Drone. He assembled the necessary components for it, such as: robot arms, legs, head, and multiple pieces of circuitry. As he turned on the switch, the Worker Drone booted successfully.)

James: (voiceover) It was a huge success at the time. Sales boomed, our competitors like Apple and Microsoft wiped off the map, JCJenson was gonna be the dominant company in the business. But there was something he thought of as he created you. Something no one, not even the employees of JCJenson, really knew. What if you were to go against each other? After all, that is what humans did back in the day. As he became CEO of the company, more Worker Drones were distributed to the market. But none of them knew what was really going on behind-the-scenes. He waited for the right time to execute his plan, that is until he died...

(Fade to a flashback of James' father lying on his bed, with a young James beside him.)

James' father: James...

James (young): Yes, dad?

James' father: Finish what your father had started. Make the Worker Drones turn against each other. Change history of the world. I believe in you, son...

James (young): I will. I will do whatever it takes to make sure your plan sees the light of day.

James' father: That is the spirit. I know you can do it. Good luck, my son...

(The heart rate of James' father goes flat, beeping continuously as he went limp on his bed. James turned around.)

James: (voiceover) That was when I knew... no matter what happens, his experiment had to go on.

(Cut to a montage of James, growing older, working his way up to the company, sketching down more ways to execute his father's experiment, including a more war-like drawing of the Worker Drone, which he labeled the "Disassembly Drone".)

James (30s): Perfect.

(As James finally reached the position of CEO, he signed a new paper. The screen shows the paper to "install EMP chips [disguised as 'a more advanced upgrade'] on all Worker Drones.")

James: (voiceover) As time went on, your buddies around the world would malfunction for "some reason", as the media says. But they don't know that it's our doing, part of the process. For those that did and tried to speak out, well... let's just say they suffered the consequences.

(Cut to an unnamed person, who is presumably an anti-JCJenson propagandist, in a dark room with a dimly-lit lamp shining above him, tied to a chair and his mouth taped. Another man, presumably a hitman, wields a pocket knife and stabs him to death off-screen.)

James: (voiceover) And once you've reached the "end of your support" by 2027, which is this year, a good few of you would be brought back here to JCJenson headquarters to be destroyed. Recalibrated. Refurbished. And reprogrammed into what we now know are "Disassembly Drones".

(A montage plays during his speech in which Worker Drones in separate locations are captured and disabled by JCJenson agents. Two of them resemble N and V as their Worker Drone selves. Then they are placed inside a plane bound for Silicon Valley. The Worker Drones are thrown into conveyor belts, where they are smashed and cut into pieces. Then their remaining spare parts are placed on newer, upgraded bodies, giving them the "Disassembly Drone" look. Fade back to the present, where N and V look in shock.)

James: (turning to N and V) And then, you will be sent out to kill all of your (quote-unquote) "outdated" buddies to fulfill his goal of turning you against each other. Impressive, isn't it? You guys were never meant to serve as an AI assistant, let alone fit in with humanity. I mean, how crazy does that sound? It wasn't because of your "outdated AI" or anything like that. It was all because of an experiment, which was this.

Raymond: (quietly) Oh shit…

Uzi: (shooken) No… it can't be...

James: I know it's a lot to process, but believe me, you'll finally accept who you truly are. That is, if you get out of here alive.

V: Wait, what are you-

(James presses a button that seemingly disables them for a few seconds.)

Uzi: N! V! (she turns to James) What did you do?

James: Oh wait! Did I forget to tell you that the Disassembly Drones can be overridden as a last-ditch effort? Yeah, I know, there's a lot of things you don't know about Disassembly Drones.

(N and V reawaken. This time, in their violent forms.)

James: N, V, do our lovely guests a favor and show them to the door. The door to heaven.

N and V: Yes, boss.

(N and V approach Uzi, Raymond, and Timothy.)

Uzi: N! V! Don't do this!

(Raymond attempts to untie himself from the chair.)

Raymond: Come on!

(Raymond successfully pulls one end of the rope out of the knot, loosening it. He gets up quickly and kicks N and V, and goes to untie Uzi and Timothy as quickly as possible. N slashes the chair Uzi was on, just after the latter gets up quickly. Cut to the front of the building, where the two security guards that tasered Raymond and Timothy are at the lobby.)

Security Guard #1: So you heard about that circus-themed VR game, right?

Security Guard #2: The one where it's so immense it makes you feel like you're trapped inside it? Yeah, I do.

Security Guard #1: Great. 'Cuz I already pre-ordered it, and-

(The two security guards hear some commotion from inside.)

Security Guard #1: What was that?

Security Guard #2: Come on, let's check it.

(They both run over to James' office, and one of them knocked on the door.)

Security Guard #2: Hello? James? Is everything all right?

(An explosion blasts them to the wall. Uzi, Raymond, and Timothy run out of the office.)

Security Guard #1: Hey! Get back here!

(N and V push aside the two security guards. James and Damien follow them. Cut to Uzi, Raymond and Timothy.)

Raymond: We gotta get to the car as quickly as possible!

(A missile launched by N narrowly misses the group, as they run for the entrance/exit. They appeared to be glass doors.)

Timothy: There! There's the exit!

(Uzi, Raymond and Timothy reach the glass doors. They try to open it, but to no avail.)

Timothy: Ah! It's locked!

Raymond: Oh, I can't believe I'm doing this.

(Raymond kicks the extremely-durable glass doors, attempting to break it.)

Raymond: Open, you stupid glass door! Tim, help me!

(Timothy joins in on Raymond, kicking the glass doors as hard as they can. Uzi turns to N and V.)

Uzi: N, V, please don't!

(The glass doors finally shatter.)

Raymond: (grabbing Uzi) They're gone, Uzi! We have to go!

(Cut to Kaylee, who is inside the car, calling someone.)

Kaylee: No, Mrs. Brown! Raymond is not going on a rampage! He's just-

Raymond: (distant) Kaylee! Start the car!

Kaylee: Let me call you back.

(Kaylee unlocks the car doors. Uzi, Raymond and Timothy jump in.)

Kaylee: Thank god you made it. I was starting to get worried.

Raymond: Come on! We gotta go now!

Kaylee: Wait, where's N and V?

(Bullets from N and V's guns shatter the car windows, causing them to duck down.)

Kaylee: What happened to them?!

Raymond: There's no time to explain! GO!

(Kaylee steps on the gas pedal as the bullets continue penetrating the car. N and V wield their wings to chase them.)

Damien: After them!

James: Wait. Let them be. (goes on his phone to contact N and V) N, V, stand down.

(N and V retract their wings, while James and Damien watch as the car drives off.)

Damien: What are you doing? You do know you've just let them off the hook, right?

James: I know. That just means they're too much of a coward to face us.

Damien: Oh, I get it now.

James: Yeah.

(N and V approach James and Damien.)

V: You let the assailants escape. What do you have to say for yourself?

James: Just stay put for now. We'll wait for their next move.

Part 9[]

(Cut to the car, where the gang was exhausted from what had happened.)

Kaylee: What just happened back there? Why were N and V shooting at us?

Raymond: James somehow brainwashed them into joining his side and try to kill us.

Kaylee: Wait, you mean James Smith, the CEO?

Raymond: Yes.

Kaylee: Oh man.

(Uzi, in the back seat, was sitting silently, pondering about what she had witnessed. Flashbacks of the whole ordeal played in her mind.)

Timothy: Hey, Uzi. You okay?

(Uzi snaps back.)

Uzi: I'm sorry, Timothy. I just can't stop thinking about what James had been saying about us.

Timothy: About what?

Uzi: The whole "Worker Drones being made for an experiment"? Remember?

(She looked out the window, and suddenly, her mood started turning tense.)

Uzi: Kaylee, pull the car over NOW.

Kaylee: Why? We're going-

Uzi: PULL THE CAR OVER OR ELSE I'M SHOOTING A GUN AT YOU!

Kaylee: Okay! Okay! I'm pulling over!

Raymond: Uzi, what the-?!

(Kaylee decelerated the car and pulled over to the side of the road. Uzi exited the vehicle. She looked around, hyperventilating as the camera rotated around her. She saw the lights of San Francisco glow behind a hill. Raymond, Timothy and Kaylee got out of the car.)

Raymond: Uzi, what in the hell's gotten into you? Why are you acting like this all of a sudden?

Uzi: What do you mean "why"? Did you miss the part where that monster said I am an experiment, and not meant to live alongside you guys? Seriously, be honest with me.

Raymond: No, we didn't, but-

Uzi: There! So why are you asking me why I'm acting this way, huh? Is it because I'm overreacting? Do you really think I should've just said "Oh, ok" to something that revealed a huge revelation to me? Do you?

Raymond: Well, no, you shouldn't have, but let us-

Uzi: Exactly! I can't believe you think I'm overreacting over something like this.

(She looked out to the dark bay, as the waves crashed into the rocky causeway.)

Uzi: So that's it, then? My whole existence is for nothing? All those years of planning and rebellion went to waste?

Raymond: Uzi, wait.

Uzi: What?! What is there to "wait"?! Didn't you hear what that guy said? I'm nothing but part of an experiment! Robo-god, I can't believe I had to ask you twice.

Raymond: That doesn't mean anything.

Uzi: Then what does?! What is my sole purpose? To be a butler for some fancy rich person that doesn't give a shit about anything? NO! MY WHOLE LIFE IS A FUCKING LIE! (breaking down) And I don't think you know what I'm trying to say, because you're not one of us.

(A "tear" drops down Uzi's eye, as she goes into a fetal position, crying silently. Raymond, Timothy and Kaylee look at each other, feeling sympathetic for Uzi. They kneel down beside her, with Raymond putting his hand on her back.)

Raymond: Hey. Listen, kid. You know, despite everything that's happened up 'til now, you've honestly been a lot more human than even a lot of people have ever been.

Uzi: (sniffles) You think?

Raymond: Yeah. Remember my story I explained to you when we first met?

Uzi: Yeah?

Raymond: Look, I too had some depressions like this. I also broke down in front of many people I loved because of those horrible things I witnessed back in Iraq. I even broke down in front of my fiancée too at one point. But what's more important is to look at them to form a brighter future. That's what I learned when I hired Kaylee. She told me that using those memories that have had a significant impace on your well-being is what'll make you... well, you. I know it's hard to take in what James said about you guys being experiments, but look how far you've come! You made a whole rebellion dedicated to fighting against those you hate the most! Do you know anyone your age, or more-so your kind who's done that before?

Uzi: No.

Raymond: Exactly! So it doesn't matter if you're some robot made for an experiment or a butler for some rich dude. What you've done is something not even I, a servant of this country, would have the guts to do. And to say that is an accomplishment is an understatement.

Uzi: (starts taking deep breaths) Okay.

Timothy: Uzi, you said you hated humans, right?

Uzi: Yeah, I did. Why?

Timothy: What Raymond said, you were much more human than many in this very world. That's something I never thought would happen or say in my life. No offense.

Uzi: None taken.

Timothy: My point is, a lot of us humans tend to do stupid things that I can't believe even consider "human". But you, you have done something that almost no one in this world has ever tried to do, and that is to stand up against the very corporation that doesn't care about you in the slightest. You know, you've blended very well with society, even as a robot. It just makes me wish this whole extermination process never happened in the first place.

Raymond: Exactly what he said. So what do you say to that?

(Uzi looks at the two humans beside her as her eyes light up, remembering something she told other characters a while back as it fades to a flashback from earlier in the movie, featuring her and N.)

Uzi: (flashback) Do you really think giving up is the solution to everything?

N: (flashback) No. At least I don't think so.

Uzi: (flashback) Exactly. Continuing to push through the pain is what brought me here today.

(Fade to another flashback of her chatting with Thad way earlier in the film.)

Uzi: (flashback) It's gonna take a lot to bring me down, Thad. I'm stronger than most people.

(Fade back to the present. Uzi stands up in realization.)

Uzi: But of course! How could've I forgotten?

Kaylee: Forgotten what?

Uzi: Look, I'm sorry for what I did earlier. I've been so blinded by our recent discoveries that I thought... I- we had no choice. But we still do. I've been put down so many times, but I still rose up. So why would I let this be the final nail in the coffin? We've all been through some things, (referring to Kaylee and Timothy) though I'm not sure about half of us, but we're still here. Still kicking! We have one more chance to get back at them, let's use that. Right now.

Raymond: That's the spirit, kid.

Uzi: Thanks, Ray. Didn't know I could count on you guys. Now let's get back out there and end this, forever! JCJenson's downfall, is AHEAD OF US!

J: (voiceover) If you think you can just rebel against the company like that, (pan to her and Tessa) you're not going anywhere.

Timothy: What the-?

Kaylee: Who are you two?

Uzi: And how did you find us?

J: Who we are or how we found you doesn't matter. What matters is that this belongs to you. (holds up her DNA storage, with Uzi's DNA inside of it) And you were there.

Uzi: (squints) What even is that?

Tessa: This was a DNA sample we found back in JCJenson's San Francisco office building. Your DNA, as it seems.

J: Indeed. Now, let's finish this quickly.

(At that moment, J switches her hand into a gun, aiming it at Uzi. However, at the same time, a vehicle pulls over on the opposite side of the road. J is then tackled by Thad, who pins her against the nearby bay fence.)

Uzi: Thad? What are you doing here?

Thad: Not now. I have her- (gets kicked by J) Agh!

J: Lay off of me!

(Khan exits their vehicle and runs in their direction, aiming a different version of Uzi's railgun at the Disassembly Drone.)

Khan: Stand down!

Uzi: Dad?

Raymond: Hey! Can you just leave us alone for a moment?

J: No. It's my primary directive to take down these outdated robots, effective immediately.

Uzi: Hah! You really think your purpose was to kill us 'cuz we're "outdated"?

J: Is that even a question?

Uzi: No. Because it turns out, you and I aren't so different after all.

J: You are testing my patience! Get to the point!

Raymond: We know the truth about your origins. Every single one of you were under a shoddy experiment held by James' father.

Tessa: (in disbelief) What?

Uzi: Yeah. Once us Worker Drones were "no longer of use", some of us were brought back to JCJenson, destroyed and turned into Disassembly Drones so that we could kill the remaining Worker Drones and turn against each other.

(Pan to Lizzy and Doll, who exit their vehicle as well.)

Lizzy: What? So you're telling us that I almost had a chance of being turned into (points to J) those freaks?

Uzi: Yep.

(Doll, J, Khan, Lizzy, and Thad look in shock.)

J: No. No! NO! That is an unmitigated fabrication you made up!

Uzi: Do you really wanna find out from James- oh, I'm sorry, that monster yourself?

J: Yes. Right after I dispose of you. (aims her gun at Uzi again)

Khan: Stay away from my daughter!

(Before J could attack Uzi or even be tackled by Khan, Tessa stabs a JCJenson pen on her foot. J falls to the ground in pain.)

J: (in pain) Gah! Curse the well-done quality of JCJenson-branded writing products!

Tessa: Eh, don't worry, bud. (she takes off her helmet, revealing her face) You'll be a-okay in a while.

Kaylee: Whoa.

Tessa: What? Is it my face? There's something on it? It can get a little sweaty when you have this on all the time, y'know? (holds her helmet)

Kaylee: No, it's nothing. (whispering to Timothy) I didn't think she'd reveal her face at all. It's kinda like Daft Punk, if you know what I mean.

Khan: (approaching Uzi) Kiddo? Are you alright?

Uzi: I'll be fine, Dad. How did you know where I am?

(Khan shows a map on his visor that tracks Uzi's location.)

Khan: I wasn't built yesterday, you know.

Uzi: Yeah, I see that. Also, I thought you were still waiting for your (sarcastically) beautiful doors to come in.

Khan: That doesn't matter now. It was wrong of me to be blind to the fact that all of this will calm down soon.

Thad: Yeah. We've had enough of this crap. It's about time we became more than what we were built for.

Doll: Мы заставим их страдать. Все за то, что они сделали с нашими семьями и за то, что они думают о нас./We will make them suffer. All for what they've done to our families and what they think of us.

Uzi: (referring to Lizzy and Doll) Oh yeah? Well, why are you girls here? I thought you considered me a "freak" or something?

Lizzy: We do, but Thad here wanted us to help you, or else he'll blackmail me with that one picture from the Christmas party last year. And the fact that JCJenson apparently thinks of me as trash is just wrong.

Uzi: Oh, that's nice of you.

Thad: Yeah, about that, Lizzy, I was actually joking.

Lizzy: What?

Thad: Yeah, I just said that to convince you to go. I wasn't actually going to send it to the school.

Lizzy: Wha- so I could've just not gone at all? Robo-god, you're such a-

Uzi: Let's save the argument for later. (to Khan) Sick railgun, by the way.

Khan: Thanks, I... got a little help to make it.

Uzi: Wait, don't tell me you-

Tessa: Everyone, settle down. I've gotta have a word with the boss.

(Tessa pulls out her phone, calling James.)

Uzi: Who are you calling?

Tessa: James. I have his phone number.

Uzi: Mind if I take the call?

Tessa: (looks in thought before turning to Uzi) Go ahead, buddy. (tosses the phone to her)

(Cut to James, who picks up, with N and V behind him.)

James: Oh, hi, Tessa. What's the update with you and J?

Uzi: The update is that you're done for, you walking zombie!

James: (gasps in realization) You...

(Cut to Uzi.)

Uzi: That's right, idiot! So, you think you can just do this every time, huh? Think we can play with our feelings because we're smaller? Disposable? Unimportant?

(Beat. Then cut to James.)

James: Besides the feelings part, most definitely. Do I need to gloat more?

(Cut back to Uzi.)

Uzi: Well, if you think you're so tough, let's play a little game. Bring Damien and all the other Murder Drones you have in the world over here to the JCJenson San Francisco building at 3 AM tonight. And you will see not just how wrong you always are, but what we Worker Drones are truly capable of. And a special request... bring N and V.

(Cut back to James, who looks at N and V. Then, he mischievously grinned.)

James: (chuckles) I'd like to see you try. Challenge accepted.

(He hangs up. Cut back to Uzi.)

Uzi: That went well.

(She hands the phone back to Tessa.)

Raymond: All that's left is a plan. Uzi, what do we do?

Uzi: I've got just the idea.

Part 10[]

(Cue a montage of the two parties [Uzi's team and James' team] forming their game plans as "Rebellious" plays over the audio. The camera cuts between both parties: Uzi shows her team how they'll execute their plan; James contacts all the Disassembly Drones in the world; portable railguns are assembled by Khan and Uzi; James orders the ground crew to fuel the helicopters as quickly as possible; Uzi's team walk out of the apartment, holding railguns reminiscent of Uzi's, and enter their cars; and James' helicopters take off from an airport. Then cut to a shot of Disassembly Drones in the sky, soaring through the air. They start descending as they approach downtown San Francisco. Cut to Uzi's group, where as soon as they are crossing an intersection, Khan's car gets hit by a Porsche 911. He gets out of the car to inspect the damage.)

Khan: Oh dear...

Driver: What the hell, man?!

(Cut to Raymond's car, where Uzi looks back.)

Uzi: (sighs) You've gotta be kidding me.

(She calls Khan.)

Uzi: Dad, what just happened?

(Cut to Khan, where in the background, Thad, Lizzy and Doll are seen arguing with the driver.)

Khan: Someone just ran a light and hit our car. But don't worry about us. Just do what you got to do! (hangs up)

(Cut back to Uzi, where she slowly shakes her head. Then cut to her remaining group reaching the building. They exit their car.)

Timothy: Any sign of them?

Uzi: Nothing yet.

(Tessa sees some helicopters approaching the city.)

Tessa: What is that? Is that them?

(Uzi turns to see the helicopters. She looks closely and spots the JCJenson logo on them.)

Uzi: Yep. It's them.

(Cut to a shot of downtown San Francisco, where James' helicopters were approaching the JCJenson building in the city. The Disassembly Drones were also arriving as they glided through the city's narrow skyline. Both the Disassembly Drones and James' helicopters land on the building's balcony, which also acts as the parking lot. James, wearing sunglasses, exits the helicopter smugly. He sees Uzi's party on the ground.)

James: Hey! You think you could maybe go down a little more?

(He hops back on the helicopter. Damien is revealed to be inside as well. The helicopter took off a little bit off the roof and descended near the ground. James slid the door open to make himself visible to Uzi and her team.)

James: So we meet again, Uzi. And your other teammates.

Uzi: You.

James: And I see you got Tessa on your side.

Tessa: Yeah, sorry, boss. I think this was for the best.

James: Just when I thought you were loyal to the company. Where's your companion J, anyway?

Tessa: She's just taking a rest.

James: Why?

Tessa: Something about writing products of yours.

James: (to himself) I knew that would be a major flaw.

(He turns to Damien.)

James: Damien?

Damien: Yes, sir?

James: Do me a favor, will you? (he hands Damien a shotgun) Take this.

Damien: Okay?

(Just as Damien takes the shotgun, James pushes him off of the helicopter. He falls onto the road.)

James: Take care of them, will you? Also, you're fired!

(The helicopter ascends into the air. Damien gets up, brushing off the dirt on his uniform and looking at James' helicopter.)

Damien: (under his breath) Asshole.

(He spots Uzi's group and picks up his shotgun.)

Damien: Oh. It's you again.

Uzi: (wields her railgun) Bite me!

Damien: I didn't think it'd come down to this. I thought we could be friends.

Raymond: I'd rather die fighting than be friends with some corrupt manager like you.

Damien: Oh, really? That's a shame. I really liked you, you know? Think of all the things we could've done together. Like sipping margaritas in the Bahamas. But no, fate had other plans.

Raymond: That was never gonna happen, Damien. Now back off before you get hurt.

Damien: Why would I try to back away from some people who threatened to kill me? That's just cowardly of me to do that. (aims his shotgun at Uzi) But now that I am out of a job, it's safe to say that revenge will be taken from the one-and-only Damien McLe-

(A speeding Porsche 911 hits Damien, sending his body flying into the air and landing on the pavement hard. Uzi and Timothy were startled by the car's sudden appearance.)

Timothy: Jesus shit!

(Cut to the helicopter, where James saw Damien get hit by the car. He facepalms.)

James: Damien, you son of a bitch.

(The Porsche 911 reverses to where Damien was hit. Khan, Thad, Lizzy and Doll got out of the car.)

Thad: I told you you were gonna overshoot it!

Khan: Well, at least I didn't miss him!

Uzi: (confused) What the- Dad?

Khan: (chuckles) Looks like your good old father saved your ass once again.

Uzi: Wait, how did you- and what happened to the guy that hit your car?

Lizzy: Let's just say things got a little violent.

(Uzi was shocked to hear what she think they did.)

Lizzy: Just kidding. We just stole his car and drove off here. But don't worry, we promised to bring it back after. Though I wanted to keep it for myself.

Uzi: (relieved) Okay. I thought you did what I thought you did.

Doll: Нет, не будем. Если только не захотим./Nah, we wouldn't. Unless we wanted to.

(Just then, all the Disassembly Drones fly up above them, landing on the pavement as they surround the team. James' helicopter hovered just above Uzi's group.)

James: Family reunion, huh? Sorry to interrupt, but you know what they say, always have a plan B.

Khan: YOU'RE A DEAD MAN, JAMES SMITH! You've hurt us...

Uzi: ...and you've hurt our families. This ends now!

James: (laughs) Oh, it will end now... with you turning into dead metal and meat! (to the Disassembly Drones) Take care of them for me, okay?

(James' helicopters flies off as the Disassembly Drones start to close in. Everyone else pulls out their weapons in a revolving shot.)

Uzi: As much as I enjoy posing like this, everyone, ATTACK!

Raymond: (readys up his railgun) Okay. Maximum effort.

(The heroes start fighting the Disassembly Drones surrounding them with their weapons of choice. The camera cuts to give focus on Uzi, trying to find N amidst the chaos.)

Uzi: Come on, N. Where are you?

(Then, while navigating through the battlefield, unbeknownst to her, a violent N spots her with his detection system. He bolted over to Uzi, with little-to-no time for the latter to react, tackling and pinning her to the ground. He wielded his claws to kill her this time.)

Uzi: N, wait! It's me, Uzi! Remember?

(N ignored Uzi's claims, instead about to reach for her chest to rip out her heart. Uzi grabbed onto his claws, struggling to keep him out of reach.)

Uzi: Don't do this, N! You gotta remember! Think of all those times when were together!

(As soon as N heard her "together", he stops and looks closely at her for a moment. Then fade to a flashback from earlier in the film, when Uzi and N were in the former's apartment, as an instrumental rendition of "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" plays in the background.)

N: (flashback) I'm trying my best but, I feel like there's something I'm doing wrong considering how... mean they are to me, to say the least. Am I doing something wrong, Uzi?

Uzi: (flashback) You know, for someone who gets kicked like a downed puppy by his teammates, you did pretty damn good when we first met.

(Fade to another flashback, when they were in the kitchen at Raymond's apartment.)

Uzi: (flashback) Sometimes relationships don't spark with a slow burn, I suppose.

N: (flashback) While we're still on the topic, I also wanted to say I have a crush on you.

Uzi: (flashback) Oh... well, looks like fate has decided for us, then.

N: (flashback) Yeah. It really did.

(Uzi and N make blush faces. Then fade to another flashback, back at Uzi's apartment, when they were laying on the bed together.)

Uzi: (flashback) N?

N: (flashback) Yeah?

Uzi: (flashback) You think once all this is over, we could be together forever?

N: (flashback) I'm positive.

(N's "positive" echoes as we fade back in to reality. N's eyes turn normal.)

N: Uzi?

(He takes his hands off Uzi. Uzi hugs him.)

N: What happened?

Uzi: So much has happened.

N: How am I? Did I scare you? Oh, don't tell me I traumatized you.

Uzi: You did. But not too much.

N: Okay, that's good.

(Just as they both hold hands, an explosion interrupts their moment.)

Timothy: Hey, uh, don't want to interrupt your lovely reunion, but can you save it for later? We've got much bigger problems to focus on than that!

Uzi: Oh, right! N, where's V?

N: Uhh, hold on, I think I saw her earlier...

(N sees V hovering just a few feet above the ground, ready to pounce behind Thad, who is busy fighting some other Disassembly Drones.)

N: V!

(He wields a grappling hook and pulls her to him.)

V: Unh, let go of me!

N: Uzi, hold her!

(Uzi grabs onto V, assuring she doesn't get away.)

N: Okay, how does this work?

(N forcefully taps on V's head to do something about her.)

N: Come on! Snap out of it!

V: Get off me!

N: Alright, screw this!

(N charges a large volt of electricity into V, disabling her for a moment. She wakes up.)

V: Ow, what the hell?! N? What is this?

N: No time to explain!

(One of the Disassembly Drones looks behind and sees N and V with Uzi.)

Serial Designation T: Hey! Those two Disassembly Drones are with a Worker Drone!

(Many of the Disassembly Drones turn to the three.)

Thad: Oh no! Uzi!

(Two Disassembly Drones, Serial Designations Z and I, fly over to opposite ends and wield rocket launchers. N and V spread out their wings.)

N: Uzi?

Uzi: Yeah?

N: Hang on.

Uzi: (climbing onto N) N, what are we doing- AH!

(In slow-motion, N and V blast off, with Uzi hanging on to the former, just as Z and I fire their rockets at them. N and V successfully evade them, and the two rockets collide with each other, causing a huge explosion.)

Uzi: Whoa! Aaah! (she looks down) Oh, why did I do that?

V: What's wrong? You scared of heights?

Uzi: No, I'm not!

(N looks around the city. "BITE ME (2027 Movie Mix)" starts playing.)

N: V, I've got a plan. Try to fend off as many Disassembly Drones as you can, while Uzi and I will try to lead them away from the city.

(V nods.)

N: Uzi, you got your railgun on you?

Uzi: Oh, I sure as hell do! (she pulls out her railgun)

N: Great! (zoom in on his eyes) 'Cuz it's time to murder some Drones.

(Uzi, N, and V bolt off into the city, followed by the other Disassembly Drones. Cut to the ground, where the rest of the group watched.)

Khan: Come on, Uzi...

(A group of Disassembly Drones sneak up behind V, who shoots them with her guns. They crash into 181 Fremont and Salesforce Tower, respectively. A Disassembly Drone appears in front of Uzi and N, with the latter knocking him into the Shell Building, though he regains his balance. Uzi aims her railgun at six Disassembly Drones and shoots them, causing a neon-green explosion that emits a small shockwave, shattering windows in the nearby skyscrapers. Meanwhile, V, who has split up with the main duo, fights off an army of Disassembly Drones. She blasts them with her dual-wield guns. One of them tackles her, but V gains advantage of him and smashes him to the ground hard, destroying a few buildings around them and sending a huge shockwave that causes a blackout throughout the entire city. Cut to Uzi's teacher in his apartment, who was grading Uzi's essay in his room, when the shockwave hits, disabling his electricity and shattering his windows. He looks outside to see two Drones fighting in the city's downtown, shaking his head in disapproval. Cut back to the city, where as the smoke clears, V takes off from the unnamed Disassembly Drone's now-mutilated body in a deep crater on the road. Cut to Uzi and N, where the latter slashes various Disassembly Drones in the front, while the former does the same to those behind them. Uzi jumps on one of the Disassembly Drones and punches them so that it can lose its concentration and fly out of control, colliding with another Disassembly Drone, just as Uzi jumps off of it, being caught by N.)

N: It looks like you're officially a Murder Drone now, Uzi.

(A Disassembly Drone points a rocket launcher at N and shoots a missile towards him, but N manages to catch it and spin it around, instead heading towards the Disassembly Drone. It hits the Disassembly Drone, exploding and his remains fall to the ground.)

N: Well, make me one too.

Uzi: You're technically one already, N. Since the very beginning.

(Suddenly, out of nowhere, J grabs N and pushes him onto the rooftop of 650 California Street, while Uzi, whom N had dropped, falls to the ground at a fast rate. Her upper half slams on the edge of a roof, then hits the ground head-first. Cut to N and J, with the latter pinning him against the wall.)

J: You think you could just betray the company like that, N?

N: Oh! Hi, J!

J: Shut it, N! (she points a sword at N) Give me one good reason as to why I shouldn't kill you right now.

N: Uhh...

J: You know what? (she electrocutes N, semi-disabling him) I shouldn't even bother asking.

(Cut to a severely-damaged Uzi, twitching on the sidewalk. Her arms and legs were scratched, cracks appeared on the edges of her visor, and her clothing had tears on it. Her railgun was also destroyed from the impact. Barely, she could see other Disassembly Drones surrounding her.)

Uzi: N... where are you?

(She faints. Cut to J, who spotted V flying by. She tackled her, and both land on the ground, scraping their backs on the pavement.)

J: I trusted you!

V: J?!

J: That's right. Your old colleague. I thought we were friends.

V: We are! You're on the wrong side of this conflict!

J: "Wrong side"? The only thing you're doing wrong is fighting against the company who created you! Join the winning team, and we'll dominate these loser Worker Drones once and for all!

V: Never! Want to know why? Because you were a Worker Drone too! The boss said it himself!

(J gasps.)

J: No. You're on it too!

V: It's true! I was there when he said that! We're all experiments by James! Why can't you just accept that fact?!

J: This isn't true! There's no way!

V: Want to hear from the boss himself? Go ahead. Be my guest.

(V sees a group of Disassembly Drones carrying Uzi back to the JCJenson San Francisco building.)

V: Oh crap.

J: (grabs V) Come on. Let's go see if you're right with what James is saying about us. (she grabs N as well) And don't think I've forgotten about you, N.

(J holds N and V, attached to her chains, while the Disassembly Drones hold Uzi, her eyes flashing, barely functioning. Cut to the ground, where the rest of the team sees them approaching the building.)

Timothy: Oh no! They got them!

Khan: Uzi!

(Cut to the rooftop of the building, where the Disassembly Drones, including J, land. The drones drop Uzi onto the roof. James' helicopter approached the building. James got out and stepped onto the roof, while the vehicle then lowers as guards surround the group on the ground. JCJenson officers step out.)

JCJenson Officer #1: (taking the weapons from the group) We'll be taking those.

Thad: Hey!

(Thad is bootlooped as the officers start to handcuff the group.)

JCJenson Officer #2: Come on. It's back to HQ for extermination.

Lizzy: NO! I'M NOT GETTING TURNED INTO A FREAK!

Doll: Отойдите от нас, животные!/Get off of us, you animals!

(Lizzy, Khan, and Doll are bootlooped as well, while Tessa, Kaylee, Raymond, and Timothy are tasered. James approaches Uzi, who could barely keep her strength, as she started to malfunction. N and V were also awake.)

James: So, what did you say about how wrong I always am, and what you Worker Drones are truly capable of?

Uzi: (weakened) Bite me... (she collapses)

James: J, fetch me a blade.

(J tosses James a machete. James flips Uzi over and rests his shoe on her visor, as it cracks under his weight.)

James: You know, it's a shame your life had to be cut short, Uzi. I could've seen you living your life peacefully, free of despair and sin. But, alas, you had to waltz your way into my property and try to destroy everything my father and I worked so hard to create.

(James stabs Uzi in the chest. She let out a blood-curdling scream as oil started to drip out of her mouth and her visor flashing "WARNING: CRITICAL DAMAGE". N and V, still chained to J, looked away in horror. Cut back to the rest of Uzi's team being hauled into the helicopter, where Raymond, Timothy, and Khan quickly wake up from their comas hear her scream.)

Raymond: Shit! Uzi! Come on, you guys!

(Raymond, Timothy and Khan quickly kick the officers restraining them, with Khan taking his railgun from them, and attempted to enter the building. The doors were locked once again.)

Raymond: Dammit! Not again!

Khan: (pushes Raymond aside, aiming his railgun at the door) OUT OF MY WAY!

(Khan blasts at the doors, and the three run up the stairs. Cut back to the roof, where James was slowly navigating the machete through Uzi's chest, as she cried in pain.)

James: Another thing to note, is that I had a team plant bombs here before the battle. That way, when they explode, you go down with this place. And your friends down there? We'll kill them, too.

(Cut to Raymond, Timothy and Khan running up the stairs, as a bomb on one of the floors started counting down from 5 minutes. Then cut to Tessa waking up from her coma and freeing everyone with her sword. Then cut back to Uzi and James. James took the machete out of Uzi, as Uzi winced in pain. He then pointed the machete at her visor.)

James: Sorry, Uzi. Sorry it had to end this way. But you chose this route, so what can I say? Goodbye.

(As James was about to push the machete through Uzi's visor, he then hears the door behind him open, as Khan comes out, charging at him.)

Khan: YOU!

(He lunges at James, tackling him and making him lose his grip on Uzi. James kicks Khan off of him as the two of them get back on their feet.)

Khan: I'VE HAD ENOUGH! YOU KILL MY WIFE, YOU KILL MY DAUGHTER, NOW I KILL YOU, FOREVER.

(He shoots his railgun at James, though he ducks down from the beam. The beam hits his helicopter, which plummets down and crashes into a nearby building. James and Khan watch the helicopter crash into the building as Kaylee, Thad, Doll, Lizzy, and Tessa quickly hop off the helicopter and to the building's balcony.)

James: (sighs) I'm just gonna have some other guys pick me up later.

(Khan glares at James in immense rage, aiming his railgun at him.)

Khan: You have nowhere to run, you monster. This time, I won't miss.

(James turned to the rest of the Drones.)

James: You know what, guys? Why can't you be grateful for once? My father and I brought all of you Drones into this very world! I mean, look where your reputation has gone, for God's sake! You're all world-class robots! And how do you repay me? By trying to kill me! (laughs) Like, what? What did I do wrong? Think about it! None of you would be here without me or my father! And this especially goes to you Disassembly Drones, who were once Workers too!

(The Disassembly Drones, including J, looked at each other.)

J: Wait, so they were not lying after all?

James: Yeah, that's right. I said it. You wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them!

V: (to J) That's what we've been trying to tell you, J!

James: But if you have something to say about it, why don't you join them? Who would you side with, J? Them or me?

(J looked at N and V. Then at Khan, still aiming at James, heavily breathing. And then at Uzi, who was still in pain from James' attacks.)

J: You.

N: What?! Are you out of your mind, J?!

(J hushes him. She approached James slowly while still facing N and V.)

J: Now look. I know that the whole origin story of the Drones isn't exactly what you thought it was. But I think James here could make things right. If he can do what he thinks is best for us, I'm sure we'll all be sorted out just fine.

James: Excellent choice, J. I knew you were still loyal to us. All of you, take care of them. I've got something more important to attend than this.

(The rest of the Disassembly Drones start to corner the group, with some of them approaching the other building where Kaylee, Thad, Doll, Lizzy, and Tessa are on. Khan attempts to shoot his railgun at James again, but J tackles him, causing his railgun to be pushed out of his reach. Raymond shoots J's chains to release N and V. Uzi, with all her remaining strength, gets up, still heavily wounded but not out.)

Khan: (to J, through his teeth) Go ahead. Do your worst.

(J switches her hand to a blade, ready to kill Khan. Before she could deliver the finishing blow, it cuts to Khan's face, his defiant expression changing to a shocked one as he realizes he hasn't been killed. He looks at J, who has been stabbed through the chest with a similar blade. The blade is thrust out of her chest before it slashes her head off. J's unconscious body goes limp, revealing N to be her assailant.)

N: A little defiance never hurts anyone.

(He offers his hand to Khan.)

Khan: Never does.

(Khan takes his hand, allowing the Disassembly Drone to pull him back up. Cut to Uzi coming across the railgun Khan dropped. She looks at it, then looks at James with an angry expression.)

Uzi: You stay away from my friends, you psycho.

(Uzi runs to pick up the railgun, but James, spotting her, tackles her, pushing themselves over the edge of the building.)

James: I'm gonna have fun murdering you.

(He pins the machete near Uzi's neck.)

James: I'll do whatever it takes to make sure my father's legacy goes on.

Uzi: Try me, you sick freak. You could've left us alone.

(N picks up the railgun.)

N: Hey, Uzi! Think fast!

James: Huh?

(N throws the railgun at Uzi. She catches it and powers it up at James.)

Uzi: DIE MAD, BITCH.

James: Oh-

(Uzi pulls the trigger, shooting a beam that obliterates James' upper half. Cut to the rest of the group's reactions, including the Disassembly Drones, shocked and in amazement, as the beam dissipates, showing James' now-dismembered legs, and his upper body completely gone. Uzi, breathing audibly, watches his remains collapse to the floor. She gets up, backing away from the edge and collapses.)

S: Could it be...?

Thad: She... she did it.

(Uzi's visor continues to flash "WARNING: CRITICAL DAMAGE" as she lays on the rooftop, breathing heavily.)

Uzi: It's finally done...

(N, V, Raymond, Timothy, and Khan surround her.)

N: Oh no...

Khan: Uzi...

Uzi: Don't worry, guys... I'll be fine... Just let me rest for a moment.

(N, remembering that there was something James had said earlier, gasps.)

N: THE BOMBS!

(Cut to the bomb's timer reaching zero, detonating the floors, along with several other bombs rigged inside. The building starts to topple over into the city, with the main group sliding to the edge. Cut to the other group, as they watch the building collapse.)

Kaylee: Oh my...

S: Come on! We gotta go!

(Then cut to the ground, as bystanders start running in fear.)
