In 2006, Warner Bros. & New Line Cinema Announced A Hollywood Remake Of Mothra, However, New Line, Though Had The Rights For A Mothra Movie, Didn't Have The Rights For A Remake. So In 2007, Cartoon Network Planned A Mothra Animated Series, But The Show Wasn't Made Due To Budget Issues. Roland Emmerich (Creator Of The 1998 Godzilla Film) Planned His Own Mothra Remake In 2009 With TriStar Pictures, But Toho Refused To Let Him Remake Mothra Due To His Godzilla Film Being Poorly Recived.
