Milo and Kida is a 2007 French-English hand drawn traditionally animated parody stereoscopic 2D and 3D drama comedy romance family film directed by Luc Besson and Mark Osborne along with John Stevenson and Jennifer Yuh Nelson. This is the spoof parody of William Shakespare's Romeo and Juliet.
The film features the French Version actors and English version voices of Michael J. Fox, Cree Summer, Peter Dinklage, Jack Black, Lisa Kudrow, Randall Duk Kim, Cary Elwes, Tom Arlond, Kate Winslet, David Koechner, Sarah Polley, Jacqueline Obradors, Claudia Christian, James Hong, Dan Fogler, Michael Clarke Duncan and Nathan Lane with voices done by Ernie Sabella, Rowan Atkinson, Joe Flaherty, Jeff Goldblum, Richard Kind, Leonard Nimoy and Danny McBride in his first animation debut.
This is the second animation French film to be distributed by Pathé and Walt Disney Pictures, who previously worked on Journey to Atlantis (2007 film), would later do nine projects of the French films and working on Indian films with Yash Raj Films, Roadside Romeo.

Production[]
In February 2007, after making Journey to Atlantis, the crew team of Pathé and Disney make their second animated feature film after the first one. Jack Black, after voicing a character Po, voiced him again in the second animated French film. The only directors in the film are John Stevenson and Mark Osborne that made this movie after Kung Fu Panda which released in June 2008.
Pathé and Disney invited the crew from the studios and made their love story into a spoof which Romeo and Juliet parody in this movie. The story was simlair to this one but with characters surving and taking animals. In March 2007, Pathé distributed their two films in the UK in England and Britian.
Casting[]
Michael J. Fox reprise his role from the first Atlantis movie as Milo in the first Pathé film Journey to Atlantis as well as Jack Black, Claudia Christain, Jacqueline Obradors, Ray Romano and Nathan Lane reprise their roles from the movies. In one point production, Jennifer Lawrence was originally supposed to voice Kida, but her voice was lower pitched so Cree Summer got the role instead. Jeremy Renner was supposed to voice Captain Gutt, but this wasn't true so Peter Dinklage voiced him instead. To make the movie in the opening sequence, the directors hired child actors to voice their younger characters, Nathan Gamble provide the voice of Young Milo and Willow Smith and Jaden Smith voiced Baby Kida and Younger Kalou, Kida's brother.
