Max Stewart also known as Monster Kid is the titular main protagonist of The Dawn of Monster Kid and The Dawn of Monster Kid: Dimensions, and a major recurring character in Avalon Guardians. He is a young boy who can transform into giant monsters and a student at the Avalon Superhero Academy. Overtime, Max has protect Dragon Cove from the attacks of giant monsters and fights many supervillains such as Zero, Nano, Dr. Dome, Mr. Z, Dr. X, Duplicate, Oblivion and Vulcan.
In The Dawn of Monster Kid: Origins, it's revealed that when Max got exposed to the G-Energy Compound, the Staronite gene awoken in his DNA, which he inherits Mary's powers to replication. Also, he learns that he's one of the few beings in the universe to had a connection of a mysterious world called the Dragon Dimension.
In The Dawn of Monster Kid: Giant Monster Showdown, it's revealed that Max is the host of an ancient cosmic entity known as the Dragon Force and discovers he has a connection to a parallel dimension called the Dragon Zone.
Personality[]
Max is an average boy who enjoys science and has an interest in kaiju. He is known for having a strange personality and always draws out a sentence to the point of near ridiculousness. In some episodes, he lacks intelligence which sometimes annoy everyone around him, even his parents. Despite his lack of intelligence and clumsiness, Max is known to have a good heart and likes to help out. Sometimes, Max would try to convince his foes to stop their evil plans.
When Max was first got his powers, he was afraid that people would see him as a monster and he'd be endangering his family. However, he has gotten over his fear and decides to use his abilities to save innocent lives. Even though he's a public hero, Max never puts fame and fortune over his family and friends. Max is truly loyal to his friends and family as he would never let anyone talk trash about them or blame either one of them for any of his mistakes. Max also possesses a sense of honor. He also afraid of dancing in public. Max's greatest fear is being alone, afraid to lose his friends and family and, becoming a true monster. There are times when Max shows anger like if any of his friends and family get injured. He is not afraid to scold someone for his or hers reckless actions that endangers others.

Max is a very young Caucasian boy. He has brown hair, green eyes, wears an orange shirt, white short shorts and black shoes. He often wears a different colored shirt. Max has a scar on his chest, which is a burn mark from the G-Energy Compound. After the season of season 5, Max gets a white highlights in his bangs.

Early Life[]
Alongside Ava, Debbie and Mary Jr., Max was born in Dragon Cove to Mary and Harold Stewart. At the age of 5, Max was at the park with his family, but they had to evacuate when Godzilla attacked Dragon Cove.
History[]
Backstory[]
At the age of 6, Max was at Stewart Corp with his father, Harold when Ivan exposed him to the G-Energy Compound on international television. He was taken to the Avalon headquarters, which was under attacked by the Drox. Feeling scared, he transformed into Spiral and fought against the alien army, nearly destroying the headquarters in the process until he was calmed down by Alora's song, causing him to revert back to human form and breaks down in tears while Mary comforts him. A video of Max transforming into Spiral was leaked online, dubbing him as Monster Kid.
A year later at the age of 7, Max gets captured by Mr. Z for an experiment, but was able to escape when he transforms into Phadorah and attack the alien worm's mech suit, forcing him to flee Earth. Harold and Zoey create a serum to eradicate the G-Energy Compound from Max's body, but failed due to the cells of Max's immune systems evolved into microorganisms, preventing Max from ever being cured. Sooner or later, Max was trained by his mother to learn how to control his powers with help from his aunts and the Blight Force while meeting Daisy for the first time. During his training at the age of 8, Max transformed into 5 new kaiju named Geo-Mite, Siphon, Mega Dragonfly, Pyrogon and Insectra. A week later, Max had encountered an amoeba-based kaiju named Geminite before it burrow underground.
One night, a Spore Monster named Monster Z attacked the mansion and tried to kill Max, but Mary and Void Queen interfere as they fought against the monster. However, Monster Z was gaining the upper hand and nearly killed Mary, which provokes Max into transforming into Spiral, fighting and attacking Monster Z. Spiral was gaining the upper hand and easily overpowers Zero, who retreats after getting his eye burned by Spiral's energy beam. On his 9th birthday, Max transforms into a kaiju named Surge.

In the future, Max marries Alora, and have 2 girls and 1 boy. Also, a Spore seeded with Max's DNA was use to terraform an uninhabitable planet in another galaxy, giving creation to an alien race known as the Changelings.
