Marvels (season 1)

The first season of Marvels, also referred to as Year One, is set to premiere in the United Stated on November 9, 2009, on the Dazzler Network. Twelve superhero contestants were selected to compete in the running of becoming "Earth's Mightiest Hero"

Knockout Stage

• Twelve contestants are randomly drawn into four groups, with three contestants in each group.
• Double round robin, all matches are best-of-one.
• If contestants have same win-loss record and head to head, they will play a tie-breaker match for first or second place.
• The top two contestants of each group advance to the Battle Stage. The third-place contestant is eliminated.
