Vol. 1: Spider-Man and the New Avengers Aftermath

No Title
1 A Tour Around the Avril Mansion
Wendy Poole / Gwenpool invites the reader for a "tour around the Avril Mansion", revealing details about the mansion's key points, before starting to tell its origin story: it all started when Rosie Thompson gave birth to her second child Jessie, but eventually fled her abusive husband Harrison in fear of him planning the worst of their daughter, as Harrison wanted to keep only boys like their firstborn Eugene "Flash", for which Rosie left with her daughter to her Water-front mansion (which was secretly located in Fire Island, New York), where Jessie would years later have her surname legally changed from Thompson to Avril. As Rosie lived her new life with widower Wilson Allan (with whom she conceived her child son Collin) and his children Marcus and Liz, Jessie continued living alone in her mansion (whose location remained a secret, with the public being made to believe she lived in a house in front of Midtown High School), where she would welcome her friends from Midtown High Anna Maria Marconi and Carolyn Trainer. Jessie also dated a number of girls, including Felicia Parker / Black Cat, Anya Corazon, Gwen Stacy and Cindy Moon / Silk. Gwenpool later rushes her story to the Present day, on which the now-deceased Jessie bequeathed her mansion to Peter Parker and his friends from Horizon Academy. Gwenpool then concludes by stating that the mansion will be the perfect paradise for Peter and his friends to live happily together.
2 The Best Friend
In the following day after moving to the Avril Mansion with his friends, Peter continues spending a peaceful time with Kamala Khan before having a conversation with Mary Jane Watson, Gwen and Anya; the girls still voice admiration for Peter when he professed that Kamala was his real best friend and not Harry Osborn, as Peter recalls the events of his time with Kamala[1] before telling Gwen and Anya of the two moments when Kamala even "made a sheep out of" Flash Thompson; one day before the New Avengers were assembled to fight Ego the Living Planet[2], Kamala was jogging at New York until Flash (who was arguing with a group of female basketball players, claiming that "women are no good with manly sports") abruptly challenged her to try and make an example. Kamala proved him wrong by beating him in a 10-0 score, leading the amused players to call him a "sheep boy", and getting him in trouble with a nearby group of greasers. Later in the day after Harry wrongly accused Peter of "working for Spider-Man", Flash sought to participate in a competitive event of geniuses to mock Peter over his falling out with Harry, until Kamala joined in, and again "made a sheep out of Flash" by beating him in three academic exams: a quiz with questions about science and superhero activities, a presentation of high tech inventions, and what was more frightful for Flash: a chess match, in which Kamala beat him more easily and mercilessly, and led to other geniuses (both the staff and participants) calling Flash a "sheep boy" and mercilessly taunted him until Flash fled in shame. A victorious Kamala also left for a peaceful walk with Peter. Back in present, Peter, Gwen and Anya watch as Kamala goes out with Sam Alexander for a date, as Peter professes how proud he is of calling Kamala his real best friend.
3 Winged Tigers
Horizon Academy's students are summoned to participate in a football match to represent their school. Peter and his friends are in particular uninterested, as they are mainly focusing on studying for next day's grand exam. Nevertheless, the boys accept, naming their team the "Winged Tigers", with the girls signing up to be their cheerleaders, and Central Park Zoo's tiger Diego being their mascot. The Tigers are scheduled to play against Flash (who had convinced the football championship administrators to summon the Horizon Academy students as his team's adversaries) and the "Iron Marauders", the home team of Midtown High School. Upon meeting the Tigers, Flash overconfidently mocks Peter and his teammates over their supposed inexperience until he becomes frightened by Kamala (who reminds him of when she taunted him mercilessly as a "sheep" twice) and fearfully retreats. Later on during the game, Peter and the Tigers prove themselves strong adversaries who score mercilessly against the Marauders. They also break Flash's concentration by cracking sheep-related jokes on him. To make things worse for Flash, he is publicly humiliated when one of the administrators broadcasts footage of Kamala beating Flash in basketball and chess, and others ridiculing him as a "sheep boy" for everyone to see and hear, making him a laughingstock to both the guests and the players (even most of the Marauders, except Carl "CK" King, Eric O'Grady, Josh Richardson and Seymour O'Reilly), provoking the humiliated Flash to furiously berate at Peter, indirectly confessing to have sabotaged other rival teams so only the Marauders could compete in the championship. Just as he is about to beat up Peter as well, Flash is caught in the act by the administrators and an infuriated Steve Rogers / Captain America, who had overheard Flash's confessions through one of Tony Stark's camouflaged drones as they condemn Flash for his actions, much to his horror. Flash and the Marauders are met with negative public opinion and disqualified from the game and the championship, leading to the Tigers' victory. As Flash and the Marauders leave empty-handed, Peter and his friends accept the championship award along with (to the shock of Midtown High's cheerleaders and principal) Midtown High's collection of trophies (as part of a bet which the school prefects waged earlier against the Tigers), earning the respect of other schools' jocks, and head back home to study for their exam at Horizon Academy, with the administrators respecting their wishes. Midtown High's principal then approaches Max Modell to ask him about the exam which the Horizon Academy students are studying for.
4 The Ogres, Part 1: Midnight Peril
Peter and his friends are back in their mansion, studying hard for next day's big exam, while Midtown High's principal and gym coach accost Flash for the incident in the tournament, for which he is removed from the football team. As consequence for the Marauders having challenged Peter and his colleagues for the football match and lost (at the cost of their school's trophies), the principal assigns the entire school to study for and take the same exam the Horizon Academy students are studying for... next day, much the shock of both Flash and the unprepared students, and the amusement of Gwenpool, who was listening to everything from outside. As most of his classmates (who blame him for their predicament) study hard for the exam, Flash mainly plans to get revenge on Peter by sabotaging him in his former home in Queens and retrieve the school's trophies at night, with CK, O'Grady, Richardson and a reluctant O'Reilly (who is also trying to study for the exam) agreeing to help, despite being warned of consequences associated with the authorities. Gwenpool overhears this, but (aware that Peter no longer lives in Queens, and his aunt May is residing with her daughter Jessica Reilly and son-in-law Hunter Watson) decides to let them carry on their plan due to the consequences they are about to face. At night, Flash and his colleagues arrive at the Parkers' former neighborhood, and begin vandalizing the house, suddenly provoking its silhouetted current owner to confront the jocks outside. Believing it is Peter coming, Flash and his colleagues immediately throw eggs and mud balloons at the exiting house owner. To the jock's horror, the new owner is their classmate Minerva Gonzales, a former Oscorp intern who was once subjected to an untested and unstable super-soldier serum of Curt Connors's making as ordered by her mother Athena Gonzales of Athena Industries. Feeling humiliated, Minerva furiously transforms into a red-skinned goblin-like monster dubbed DemoGoblin, and begins attacking the jocks, forcing CK to run her over with Flash's car, and knock her unconscious. But the damage he indirectly causes to Minerva's house draws the attention of the angered neighbors, who call the police on the jocks, forcing Flash and his colleagues to retreat in panic, as an unconscious DemoGoblin is quickly recovers.
5 The Ogres, Part 2: Horizon Avengers
In their mansion, Peter and his friends study for one more hour before going to sleep, as Peter narrates that he knew of Flash's petty plans for revenge, for which he made Flash vulnerable to a countermeasure Peter and his friends planned against the "ogres". Meanwhile, the jocks are chased all over New York by the police officers and the recovered DemoGoblin (for six hours as Gwenpool counts). Still obsessed with sabotaging Peter and his friends, Flash (against his colleagues' warnings) drives towards Horizon Academy to try and wreck it, only to be teleported along with DemoGoblin into a digital realm by the Nexus Web, a high-tech defense system which Peter and his colleagues and teachers installed in both their school and their mansion. They land in an alternate universe where Peter and his friends have taken the mantle of the Avengers; Peter is Captain America, Mary Jane is Black Widow, Gwen is Captain Marvel, Kamala is Ms. Fantastic (a superheroine with the Fantastic Four's powers), Anya is an amalgam of Thor and Storm, Miles Morales is Black Panther, Sam is Iron Man, Kevin Walker is White Tiger, Dante Pertuz is Ant-Man, Lana Baumgartner Summers is Wasp, and Ned Leeds is a Hulk/Tiger hybrid. The jocks (who are transformed into mutant farm animals upon arrival) are subsequently beaten by the alternate Avengers, and taken to be judged by the original Avengers (who in this universe are the Illuminati, a council of elite leaders and politicians in New York, with Stark as mayor). Meanwhile in the main universe, Gwenpool reveals to the authorities a footage of Flash formulating his plan against the Horizon Academy students. Back in the alternate Avengers' universe, the jocks remain under the Avengers' custody until they are ambushed by Minerva / DemoGoblin, who was transformed into a red kaiju dragon terrorizing New York. The alternate Avengers battle the monster while the jocks make a harsh escape. Right after the Avengers defeat Minerva (who collapses unconscious over the jocks), she and the jocks are suddenly teleported to another dimension, for which the alternate heroes acknowledge that their four-hour experience in their dimension expired.
6 The Ogres, Part 3: Real Wild Horizon
In the main reality, Peter and his friends wake up to attend Horizon Academy, and take the exam, for which they receive the best grades. As the teens leave home early, Gwen and Anya wonder what will happen to Flash and his colleagues (who are still trapped in the virtual dimensions), for which Peter reveals to have programmed the Nexus Web to keep the jocks trapped for exactly 12 hours (four in each dimension) starting with the moment they entered, before being warped back to reality, as Gwenpool and Modell (who also helped with the defense system) watch the events of the jocks' misadventures from their computers. Back in the digital realm, the jocks arrive in a prehistoric/jungle-themed reality where New York citizens are all feral tribespeople, with the jocks being transformed into prehistoric versions of their mutant animal forms. They are hunted by feral versions of Peter and his friends (who ride dinosaurs and prehistoric tigers), and barely escape them. They then stumble upon a cult of human/animal hybrid versions of superheroes led by Gorilla Hulk and Queen Tigra, who are battling against human/animal hybrid versions of supervillains. DemoGoblin (who is among the villains, and is now a horned Tyrannosaurus Rex) spots the jocks, and chases them relentlessly, attracting both the alternate heroes and villains and the feral tribespeople, leading to a stampede-like chase which ends at a gorge, where DemoGoblin is subdued by the tribespeople, and the jocks are captured by the mutant animals. As the tribespeople take DemoGoblin away to be executed, the jocks are dragged to a volcano to be sacrificed in the lava pit. Right when they are thrown into the pit to their deaths, the jocks and DemoGoblin are teleported away into the third and last dimension, leaving the animal superheroes and tribespeople slightly disappointed.
7 The Ogres, Part 4: Rich in Fantasy”
In the main reality, Peter and Gwen watch as their clone brother Ben Parker Stacy attends the kindergarten with other children (including Liz's younger brother Collin and Mary Jane's adopted sister Cassie Lang) before revealing to his cousin Jessica the location of the device which will bring Flash and his colleagues back from their dimensional prison, with Gwen revealing that she put an "extra effect" for their exit. Back in the digital dimension, the jocks arrive in a fantasy-themed paradise island, and see themselves seemingly returned to normal, until they are revealed to have been transformed into fat, dwarfish versions of their human selves, with a freaked out Flash sporting a beard made off sheep fur. They first witness alternate versions of the Horizon Academy boys, including Peter, Miles and Kevin (who are muscular centaurs) hunting and executing Flash's counterpart (who is a pirate), and visiting Mary Jane, Gwen and Anya (who are mermaids). Watching the centaurs and mermaids throwing a peaceful party, Flash overhears to his horror as Centaur Prince Peter proposes to Mermaid Princess Mary Jane's hand in marriage, and angrily tries to trash the party to object, inadvertently blowing his and his colleagues' cover, leading to their capture. Wizard master Maxwell (Modell's fantasy counterpart) suggests the centaurs and mermaids to deliver the jocks to the bounty hunters: the Sea Tigers, a crew of pirates consisting of fantasy versions of Liz (who is also a mermaid), Ned (who sports crab legs), Kevin (who is a humanoid, muscular tiger), Rocket, Groot (who is the crew's sentient ship), First Mate Alexander (Sam's fantasy counterpart) and Captain Khan (Kamala's fantasy counterpart). As he watches helplessly as Centaur Peter and Mermaid Mary Jane share a romantic moment, Flash is dragged into the Groot along with O'Grady, Richardson and CK by the Sea Tigers, as Captain Khan plans to use the jocks as baits so they can ambush and slay "the beast". After a scuffle with the Zealots (a crew of pirate versions of the jocks themselves, as well as J. Jonah Jameson, William Stryker, Thaddeus Ross and Ronan the Accuser), Captain Khan and her crew tie the surviving, defeated Zealots and the jocks in barrels of rum and powder and lure the beast: DemoGoblin with the body of a gigantic shark/octopus hybrid sea monster. Captain Khan soon drops the jocks and Zealots to DemoGoblin after igniting the explosives, blowing them up. In a final shot, Flash, O'Grady, Richardson, CK, O'Reilly and DemoGoblin wake up in a limbo, as their 12 hours in the digital dimension expire, and they are engulfed by a beam of light.
8 The Ogres, Part 5: Fallen Bullies
With 12 hours of their experience in the digital realms expired, Flash, O'Grady, Richardson, O'Reilly and CK return to reality (but without their car and clothes) with DemoGoblin, whose exposure to the digital realm depowers her and reverts her back to Minerva, rendering her unconscious. The jocks find themselves surrounded by Jessica, Hunter and their NYPD squad, and arrested for their actions of last night while Minerva is taken to a hospital. During the jocks' televised trial, Peter, Mary Jane and some of Midtown High's former students are called at the court to either testify in favor of or against the jocks. To the jocks' shock, Peter and his classmates testify against them; Peter recalls how Flash was a loathsome bully to the "bookworms" and "four-eyed monkeys" (with Flash's former bullying victims and rival jocks backing Peter up), Kamala accosts Flash for his discrimination of girls' performance at sports (with the girls Flash antagonized in the basketball field backing Kamala up), and Mary Jane accuses the jocks of being stalkers, just like Flash's abusive father Harrison, who was also the reason why Flash became a bully in first place. Subsequently, a witness exposes Harrison for forcing Flash into beating up (and accidentally killing) a young nerd who ridiculed him. Overhearing this revelation becoming public knowledge, Harrison attempts to flee the authorities, until he is ambushed and savagely mauled (both physically and mentally) by Jackpot's tiger Frostfang, and left traumatized as he is apprehended by policemen, and given a life sentence. With no one left to defend them, Flash and his colleagues are found guilty, and sentenced to the New York State Prison for 20 years. As Peter and his friends take their leave, Flash tries to convince Peter the evidence is a lie, but Peter coldly reminds him that they were friends once until Harrison came along, and remarks that the damage both Flash and Harrison did is done before leaving with friends. Meanwhile, a cured but still mentally unstable Minerva escapes the hospital, as she is watched over by a mysterious female individual to urges her associates to bring Minerva back.
9 Sea of Titans
As she returns home satisfied with her excellent grades in the exam, Marina Argo visits a cabin which was once the home of her deceased mother, Brazilian scientist Angela Flor. She then leaves back to the mansion as she recalls her past; back when her Mutant abilities to control water and breathe underwater manifested after her mother was killed along with her husband and Marina's father Andros (a Spartan soldier) by mercenaries sent by Gonzales for supposed treason. Flashbacks reveal that Marina also earned her nanotech devices and trident from Atlantean King Namor after he took pity of her loss and trained her, and she returned to the surface to fight crime as Wave, and settled to live with Dante / Inferno and his half-brother Sam. In Present Day, Marina / Wave pursues and apprehends Minerva, who is subsequently captured by Gonzales's robots from Athena Industries. Following the robots at the Athena Industries facility, Wave discovers that Gonzales's top scientists have created a new yet untested synthetic Symbiote she dubs "Metal Venom" using DNA extracted from the remains of the original Venom Symbiote which was defeated and banished by Spider-Man[3], with Minerva being chosen to be its host. But the Symbiote (controlled by Venom's consciousness) subsequently turns against its creators, destroying the facility in the progress. Wave duels with Metal Venom, and defeats her, destroying the Symbiote with her trident's sound attacks, and freeing Minerva. As Wave sends the recorded evidences to the authorities, Gonzales, furious at Wave for supposedly sabotaging the project, dons her battle armor, and attacks her, only to be defeated and left to be arrested. Marina rejoins her friends in their mansion, as Minerva is sent to Ravenscroft Institute, still verbally blaming Flash for her condition.
10 Shooting Stars
Sam / Nova and Kamala / Ms. Marvel are off for a more private date which takes place outside Earth. They land on the Nova Empire in Xandar, and enjoy a side walk together and a dinner at a nearby restaurant. The couple recalls past events regarding their childhoods and how Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel inspired them both into being the superheroes they are now. Kamala also becomes compassionately amused by the coincidence that Sam became best friends with Mary Jane just like she became with Peter, while also being content with the life she and Sam are living with each other and them. Just then, they encounter Ned's girlfriend. Molly Brant, who had been chosen to wear the Nova Corps helmet of Sam's late father Jesse Alexander and dubbed herself "Silver Nova", along with her trainers as well as Sam's first superhero allies, the Guardians of the Galaxy (consisting of Nathan Quill / Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Drax the Destroyer, and Groot). Shortly after they enjoy a moment updating each other of their current activities, the heroes are alerted of an impending attack by Ronan the Accuser and his Kree troops for another attempt to ransack Xandar. Sam, Kamala, Molly and the Guardians still manage to defeat Ronan and the Kree troops, forcing them and their fleet to retreat, and saving Xandar. Sam, Kamala and Molly then return to Earth, where the Guardians (who also congratulates the teens for their performance) decide to pay a visit to Sam's and Kamala's new home in the Avril Mansion. Sam and Kamala then join Molly and Ned for a double date.
11 The Phoenix Unleashed
Peter is enjoying a relaxing day with his friends in the Avril Mansion; while he and the boys are at the sports field, and the girls are having a picnic at the local beach, Peter narrates how even when he is off-duty, he is still performing heroics; despite not operating as Spider-Man, Peter is still performing heroics through his Bioformer Sunsoar, as he continues seeing what else Sunsoar is capable of. During which, he battles against and defeats the super criminal Yellowjacket, and exposes him as Darren Cross, the neglectful former boss of Cassie's deceased father Scott Lang, resulting in Cross's employees to rebel against him, and destroy the products Cross was selling for Hydra. Later on, Sunsoar battles and destroys a Sentinel sent by the self-proclaimed "Friends of Humanity" (F.O.H.) to try and disrupt Dazzler's live show and kill her, as her numerous fans along with New York's citizens begin protesting against the F.O.H., who are subsequently arrested and interrogated about their mysterious benefactor. Knowing of how powerful Sunsoar is and seeking to weaponize him, MODOK sends a Kree Sentry replicated by A.I.M. to capture him. But Peter foresees this, and has Sunsoar destroy the Sentry, and obliterate MODOK's factory, leaving him to be arrested by S.H.I.E.L.D.. As he overhears news about the public praising Sunsoar for his heroic activities, Peter continues his relaxing day with his friends as Sunsoar rests in a mountain nearby, waiting for the next call.
12 The Curse of Prometheus
William Stryker, a former army colonel-turned-wanted criminal who has been known by the public for his obsessive, irrational hatred for Mutants (including the X-Men), has been recently apprehended by Spider-Man and his fellow New Avengers for his recent crimes, including organizing the F.O.H. and attempting to kill Wolverine and his clone daughter Laura Kinney while bonded with the Symbiote Phage[4]. He is soon brought to stand trial at the United Nations, where his constant ranting against Mutants quickly results in the court finding him guilty and giving him a death penalty. Spider-Man on the other hand convinces the court to give Stryker a more deserving punishment: the Curse of Prometheus, which the New Avengers consider a fate worse than death, and the court agrees. Using a special sorcery he and his fellow Knights of the Multiverse learned with their swords, Spider-Man impales Stryker with Phoenix Talon, which then heals and revives him with the essence of the mutants Stryker killed in the past, turning Stryker into a Mutant with healing factor, limb regrowth and immortality, much to his anger. Jackpot and Ms. Marvel then send Stryker to be chained for eternity in Mount McKinley, Alaska, where Stryker (as Uatu the Watcher narrates) is condemned to live forever in the body of what he hated the most, breaking his spirit and sanity. Back in the Avril Mansion, Peter earns more good compliments from his friends over how well he mastered Phoenix Talon's powers, before he is visited by Thena, who likewise praises him for his performance before acknowledging how eager Peter is to meet his fellow Knights of the Multiverse again, for which she gives him some books which she believes Peter will find interesting to read: books which reveal how Peter's fellow Knights came to be.

Vol. 2: Multiverse of Legends

No Title
1 For The Honor of Grayskull! (The Story of She-Ra)
In the Avril Mansion's library, Peter starts reading the books Thena gave him, which detail the origin stories of his fellow Knights of the Multiverse. He starts with the book detailing the principles of Princess Adora as She-Ra; raised by General Hordak of the Galactic Horde since she was an infant, Adora grew up with Catra, Entrapta and Scorpia as cadets to the Horde on the hunt for the Etherian Princesses of Power, until Adora developed increased strength and the ability to fuse two animals into one life form, and they began questioning the Horde's true nature after a cadet was killed by the Etherian pirates known as the Red Sirens, and dismissed by the Horde generals as "useless". Later, Adora came in contact with the Sword of Protection, which showed her a vision of Mara (the Sword's first wielder and the first champion of Etheria known as She-Ra) revealing to her, Catra, Entrapta, and Scorpia that they are also princesses who were taken away from their kingdoms to serve the Horde. Realizing their former masters' betrayal, Adora and her companions eventually defected to the Horde's major foes, including the Princess Rebellion, led by Princess Glimmer. Mastering the Sword's powers, Adora eventually became able to transform into her version of She-Ra, as she and her friends swore to protect their universe from the Horde's tyranny at all costs, as Glimmer and the rest of the Princesses of Power accepted Adora as their new leader. During which, Adora's friendship with Catra also developed from sisters-in-arms to a romantic couple. Adora also met Kowl, who became her best friend after she saved him from the Horde's forces, and the flying horse Swift Wind, who became her loyal steed. Months later, Adora would also have learned of the Sacred Multiverse (as well as Mara's past as a former Knight of the Multiverse), and would await the day she would meet the other four Knights destined to protect it. Back in present, Peter finishes reading about Adora's story, amazed with the fact that she (much like Peter in terms with his relationship with Mary Jane) also grew up with a friend who became a better half.
2 May the Force Be With You (The Story of Luke Skywalker)
Peter moves on to the book detailing the story of how Luke Skywalker became his universe's Knight; born the son of deceased Jedi Masters Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala, Luke spent his childhood raised by his farmer uncle Owen Lars and aunt Beru until his Force powers manifested, drawing the attention of Jedi Grandmaster Obi-Wan Kenobi, who took him in as his Padawan at the Jedi Academy. As he grew up, Luke made friends with fellow Padawans Mara Jade (who he developed romantic feelings for), Ahsoka Tano, Cal Kestis, Grogu, Ezra Bridger, and Serra Keto, as well as young X-wing pilot Wedge Antilles (who became his best friend) and Han Solo and his crew from the Millennium Falcon. While venturing into an abandoned Clone factory in Kamino alongside Obi-Wan, Luke learned more about his father Anakin (who at young age, learned that Chancellor Palpatine was the true identify of the Sith Lord Darth Sidious before they officially met) and mother Padmé (who trained in secret under Qui-Gon Jinn's tutelage in using the Force)[5], and how they along with Jedi Masters Yoda and Mace Windu sacrificed themselves to destroy Darth Sidious and his army of Sith Clones, although one clone (which was created with Anakin's DNA and possessed by the soul of Palpatine's former apprentice Anson Ren) survived, and became the new leader of the Sith Empire known as Darth Vader. Later on, Luke learned that his lightsaber (which was powered by a Kyber Crystal first owned by Yoda) is not like the others he had seen, and began mastering its unique capabilities, which he used to free the last remaining clones of Jango Fett from the Sith Empire's control: Clone Force 99 / the Bad Batch (Crosshair, Wrecker, Tech, Echo and their leader Hunter) and their "sister" Omega, whom Obi-Wan recruited to the Republic's forces. As he was congratulated for his performance, Luke discovered that his lightsaber can access the Sacred Multiverse, and Obi-Wan began telling him about Yoda's past as a former Knight of the Multiverse. Back in present, Peter finishes reading about Luke's story, as he emphasizes with how they both grew up orphans whose parental figures influenced them into being good heroes; as Peter compared Obi-Wan with Uncle Ben in terms of wisdom.
3 Gotta Go Fast! (The Story of Sonic the Hedgehog)
Peter moves on to the book telling the story of how Sonic the Hedgehog became his universe's Knight; born in Mobius with the ability to run at incredible speeds, Sonic initially used to remain hidden from most humans and Mobians who would hunt him for his power as his caretaker Longclaw the Owl feared they would, until Sonic matured, and decided to use his power to help those in need, and defeat evil individuals like his arch-nemesis Doctor Robotnik. Over his course, Sonic also made friends with other Mobians who were as special as he is, including Amy Rose (with whom he started a romantic relationship), Miles "Tails" Prower (who became his best friend), Knuckles the Echidna and Shadow the Hedgehog (both started out as rivals for Sonic, until they became his allies), Sally Acorn, and more. He also formed a friendship with some humans on his universe who influenced him into being a hero, like Princess Elise of Soleanna and Sheriff Tom Wachowski of the town of Green Hills. Sonic's selfless and noble actions led to Soleanna's omnipotent sun god Solaris deeming him worthy of wielding the Chaos Claw, the sacred sword of Soleanna, as Sonic continued wielding it to help protect his world. In due time, Sonic also learned of the other Knights destined to protect the Sacred Multiverse, and swore he would wait for as long as he needs to until it was time. Back in present, Peter finishes reading about Sonic's story, as he empathizes with Sonic on how they both grew up knowing how great power comes with a great responsibility, which also comes with the will to have someone to protect and look up to.
4 Til All Are One (The Story of Optimus Prime)
Peter moves on to the book detailing the accession of Autobot leader Optimus Prime as his universe's Knight; Optimus was originally a humble and naive miner and data clerk named Orion Pax who became increasingly concerned with the corruption of Cybertron's leader Sentinel Prime. Also protesting against Sentinel was Orion's old friend and former co-worker D-16, a gladiator who named himself "Megatron" after one of the 13 original Primes, Megatronus Prime. The two led their fellow miners to rebel against Sentinel and expose him for having formed an alliance with Cybertron's enemies, the Quintessons, and betraying and killing the Primes. When they did so, however, Orion and Megatron became divided over Sentinel's fate; Orion wanted Sentinel to stand trial for his crimes, as Megatron wanted to kill Sentinel, and establish a new order in Cybertron. Orion sought to intervene, but Megatron wounded him, and threw him into the Heart of Cybertron, where Orion was healed and entrusted by Cybertron's pantheon, Primus, and the spirits of the ancient Primes with the Matrix of Leadership, earning him the name Optimus. After killing Sentinel, Megatron severed his ties with Optimus, and began the Great War between the Autobots and the Decepticons, which in many years left Cybertron in ruins. During the War, Optimus had to eject the AllSpark from Cybertron for its own protection, with the help of Autobot Titan Metroplex, as he and his fellow Autobots sought to protect it from the Decepticons. Though he mourned the loss of his brothers on Cybertron, and was disillusioned by Megatron's betrayal, Optimus managed to move on by starting a new friendship with Autobot scout Bumblebee, and developed an attachment with Elita-One, who became his Conjunx Endura (a Cybertronian term which means significant other). Four years after they built a citadel and base of operations on Earth called New Iacon, Optimus and the Autobots befriended young human Izabella Morgan, as Optimus also discovered the Star Saber, a legendary Cybertronian sword which was forged and first wielded by Alpha Trion, and became its new wielder. As he continued leading the Autobots in the struggle against the Decepticons, Optimus also learned of the existence of the Sacred Multiverse, which Optimus swore to protect alongside his fellow Knights. Back in present, Peter finishes reading the book, as he sorely sympathizes with Optimus over having been betrayed by a former friend, but still finding good solace with a new one.
5 One Multiverse, One Realm
Peter moves on to read the fifth and latest book, which details the events of Peter's fellow Knights meeting each other for the first time;
  • Adora and her Princess Alliance first met and teamed up with Luke and his Jedi Alliance when a rogue member of the Horde sought to take over Kamino's clone factory, and create an army to usurp Horde Prime.
  • Sonic and the Freedom Fighters first met and teamed up with Optimus and the Autobots when the Star Seekers sought to obtain a valuable treasure in the Babylon Garden which could bring doom to all if in wrong hands.
  • Adora and Sonic first met and teamed up when a technorganic virus of Robotnik's making ended up corrupting a crew of Horde troopers, and threatened to spread in Etheria.
  • The Jedi Alliance and the Autobots first met and teamed up when Terrorcon leader Scourge took over an abandoned fleet of Sith Star Destroyers, and attempted to deliver them to Unicron.
  • The Princess Alliance and the Autobots first met and teamed up when a variant of Horde Prime found a new body in an uncontrollable prototype of the Predacon King's body, and sought to destroy everything in its path.
  • The Mobian Freedom Fighters and the Jedi Alliance first met and teamed up when a Sith clone was corrupted by one of Robotnik's Roboticizer machines, and plotted to create an army of Sith Badniks to start an uprising.

And more eventually, the Knights and their comrades teamed up to stop the mutual threat of the Hypersaurs, interdimensional reptilian aliens who sought to conquer the Multiverse and devour its inhabitants. After defeating the Hypersaurs, and banishing them to the Void, the Knights assembled the sets of relics which created their universes (the Universal Hearts of She-Ra's universe, the Master Kyber-Crystals of the Jedi Alliance's universe, the Chaos Emeralds of Sonic's dimension, and the Energon Stars from the Autobots' dimension) and linked them with the Heart of Etheria, the Wall of the Force, the Master Emerald and the Allspark respectively to awaken the Multiverse Star, which was, however, incomplete, as one set was missing. The Knights were soon informed that there was a fifth universe which neither of them have yet explored, and swore they would wait for the day they would meet the said universe's Fifth Knight. Back in Present, Peter finishes reading the book, as he vows that he will find and assemble the relics of his universe: the Infinity Stones, and finish what the Knights started.

6 A Lost Soul
Seeking to find the remaining Infinity Stones and keep them safe until he learns how to use them to unlock the Multiverse Star, Peter consults the books guarded by Dr. Stephen Strange and Wong in the Sanctum Sanctorum, and learns that the Soul Stone is located in Vormir. Arriving there, the Stone's keeper tells Peter that he can only acquire it by reflecting on a recent loss. Peter tearfully reflects on the loss of his friend Jessie Avril[6], whose spirit emerges, and encourages him to remain strong by looking after the loved ones who still live and he can still save, for which he earns the Soul Stone before leaving back to Earth. There, Peter / Spider-Man heads to save a group of Midtown High students from Jessie's corpse, which was reanimated as a zombie by Charles "Charlie" Murphy with a prototype of the Soul Stone provided by an unknown benefactor. Liz / Firestar arrives, and she and Spider-Man subdue and incinerate the zombie, as both angrily accost Murphy for disgracing Jessie's memory by attempting to raise her from the dead. As the mutually disappointed Midtown High principal reluctantly keeps Murphy's involvement in secret to avoid the negativity of the public opinion, Peter comforts Liz over the incident, before she is taken by Mary Jane and Kamala for a peaceful walk. Peter later has a moment alone in a building before he is met with Gwenpool, who sits next to him and comforts him as well, and offers to help him finish what he started. Meanwhile, in the Etherian Princesses' universe, Adora / She-Ra and her fellow Princesses inspect a criminal individual they recently defeated[7] as She-Ra, knowing of the great threat the Multiverse is facing, decides to take action.
7 Just in Time
After building the Infinity Tracker, a device designed to detect the Infinity Stones, Peter / Spider-Man and Gwenpool agree to work together on the hunt for the remaining Stones; eventually detecting the Time Stone in Kamar-Taj, which is currently under attack by Loki and his army of Frost Giants. The pair manage to sneak into the fortress, and retrieve the Stone, but are ambushed by Loki, as he voices his plans to rewrite Time to ensure Thor never arrived on Earth, and nor had he become worthy of wielding Mjolnir. As Gwenpool keeps the Stone safe, Spider-Man fights back against Loki, whom he drags into the Fire Dimension, as they battle across the universes of Spider-Man's fellow Knights, who also play a helping hand in overpowering Loki. Exhausted and facing defeat, Loki attempts to break Spider-Man's guard by pretending to yield, only for Spider-Man and Gwenpool to anticipate his move, and use the Time Stone to keep him frozen in time for twelve hours, as the Masters of Mystic Arts manage to defeat the Frost Giants, and banish them back to Jotunheim. Odin arrives to retrieve Loki (who is subsequently imprisoned), and entrusts Peter and Wendy to keep the Time Stone safe, as he is aware of Peter's plans with the Infinity Stones, which are in fact his mission for the sake of the Sacred Multiverse. Meanwhile in Etheria, She-Ra summons Luke and Sonic, who had also fought super-criminals with similar technology and equipment as the one She-Ra and her fellow Princesses fought, for which the three become aware there are more hiding in the Multiverse.
8 The Power Within
Continuing their search for the Infinity Stones, Peter / Spider-Man and Gwenpool detect the Power Stone in Morag. There, the pair battle a pack of Sakaarian pirates who were hired by Taneleer Tivan the Collector to obtain the Power Stone, which is contained in an Orb. Also searching the Stone are Kree leaders Ronan the Accuser and Korath the Pursuer, who seek to use the Stone as a power source for a doomsday weapon which can destroy entire star systems in a blink of an eye. Telepathically alerted by Thena about this, Spider-Man and Gwenpool reach the Orb before Ronan and Korath do, and replace it with a decoy which Gwenpool built using Phastos's technology, and Ronan and Korath inadvertently obtain. Spider-Man and Gwenpool then lure the Sakaarians to Ronan's ship, the Dark Aster, which they program to crash-land at the Collector's museum in Knowhere before making a harsh escape. Ronan, Korath and the Collector fight over the fake Orb, which opens to reveal a bomb which Gwenpool detonates, destroying the Collector's museum, although he along with Ronan and Korath survive, as Peter and Wendy return to Earth with the Power Stone, which is placed alongside the other stored Stones. Meanwhile, a mysterious man named Gamma (who was disguised as a Sakaarian pirate) reports to his "Council" of his crew's failure before being ambushed and apprehended by She-Ra, Sonic, Luke and Optimus, who arrive from their dimensions with Swift Wind, Tails, Chewbacca and Ratchet to confiscate Gamma's technology. Learning of the threat the mysterious Council pose, the four Knights agree to seek out Peter for help.
9 In Your Mind
Peter / Spider-Man and Gwenpool detect the sixth and final Infinity Stone, the Mind Stone, in Thanos's moon-sized space station, the Sanctuary X. While sneaking into the space station, they discover that Thanos is using the Stone as a power source for another scepter like the one he once gave Loki, while also creating an army of Klyntauri, genetic hybrids of the Chitauri with the Symbiotes of Klyntar to strengthen his army. Meanwhile, Truman Marsh and his assistant Victor Timely send the Thunderbolts (a group of low-ranking superheroes, anti-heroes and supervillains for hire led by Hyperion) to do away with Thanos and retrieve the Stone. Sensing that Timely is the mastermind who provided Murphy with the Soul Stone prototype he used to try and resurrect Jessie, Spider-Man and Gwenpool stealthily venture into the Sanctuary X, overpower the guards, and retrieve the Mind Stone without letting Thanos notice. They pair also sabotage the super-weapon which Thanos plans to trick Hyperion into charging up to destroy Earth's population, and watch from the distance as the Thunderbolts arrive to confront Thanos's forces before reluctantly leaving them to face the Klyntauri by themselves. Arriving back on Earth, Peter and Wendy are met with the latter's mentor Peggy Carter / Captain Britain, who gives her good reviews on Wendy's training. They are soon confronted by Timely, who threatens them until he is suddenly subdued by the Knights of the Multiverse (Adora / She-Ra, Luke, Sonic, and Optimus) and their companions (Swift Wind, Chewbacca, Tails, and Ratchet), who had apprehended Timely's secret associates (Gamma and Terminatrix[8]) and pruned them. The Knights also reveal to Peter that Timely and his associates are variants of an old enemy of the Avengers only known as Kang.
10 Infinity Forces, Part 1
Gwenpool narrates a tale of Kang the Conqueror, as a time-traveling, multiversal supervillain who has more than once fought the Avengers, and sought to reshape the timeline in his image. Kang had also formed the Council of Kangs, a secret cult-like organization of alternate variants of himself in the Multiverse, including Immortus, Rama-Tut, and Scarlet Centurion. After pruning Timely to the Void of the End of Time, the Knights and their companions agree to work together in ending the Council of Kangs, and prevent their multiversal uprising. Carter (who came from an alternate timeline where she took the Super-Soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers, and was erased from the Multiverse when her universe's Spider-Man killed their Peter Parker[9]) also joins them in their mission. Consulting the Time Variance Authority (TVA), the group are met by director Ravonna Renslayer, who informs them that Kang and his Council have been inadvertently creating other alternate versions of their universes with their attempts to rewrite the Sacred Multiverse's timeline, with some having been pruned to the Void due to being too unstable. After being provided with some special equipment, the Knights and their companions infiltrate the Council's hideout in the Celestium, where they discover that Kang and his variants have been building a device which will rewrite all universes and timelines in their image, but requires the Infinity Stones from Peter's universe to power it up, since the alternate versions the Council previously collected proved useless and ineffective. All the while, Peter also notices Gwenpool contacting a mysterious ally through her TemPad. As the others infiltrate the Celestium's control room, Peter and the Knights head into the multiversal power core to sabotage it. Before they can finish, the Knights find themselves surrounded by the Council members, including their leader Kang Prime from Peter's universe, who had received Timely's emergency call and been informed about the Knights's arrival.
11 Infinity Forces, Part 2
Just as Kang Prime and the Council members threaten to kill Peter's fellow Knights unless he surrenders the Infinity Stones from his universe, Peter reveals in the last minute that the Knights' plan was actually to lure Prime and his variants back into the Celestium, as Tails and Ratchet sabotage and disable the Council members' TemPads to prevent them from escaping to the Multiverse. Gwenpool also reveals her secret contact: Ms. Fantastic[10] and the newly assembled Kang Slayers, an army of alternate timeline variants of the heroes (including amalgamated versions of the heroes, such as a Cybertronian Tails and a Sorcerer Supreme Glimmer) who gathered to hunt and eliminate every Kang in the Multiverse. Consequently, a massive battle ensues between the Knights and their allies against Kang Prime and his forces in the Celestium, as several Kang variants are killed or pruned into the Void, the Celestium begins falling in ruins, and Kang Prime's superweapons are destroyed. Enraged, Kang Prime chases after Peter over the last functional TemPad, for which they end up teleported into other dimensions.
12 Infinity Forces, Part 3
As the other Knights and the Kang Slayers continue eliminating the Council of Kangs and their forces in the Celestium, Peter continues battling Kang Prime across multiple realities, including uninhabited dimensions caused by apocalyptic events (such as a universe populated by zombies, and one where Ultron destroyed all life with the Infinity Stones), culminating in the two landing in the Void, where Peter's TemPad runs out of power, and he and Kang Prime are both chased and attacked by alternate versions of the villains and monsters who had been pruned by the TVA; Peter more personally encounters the Spider-Man of Carter's erased universe, who is revealed as a variant of Flash Thompson. Between the villains, only two villains interfere: a teenage variant of Loki and a corrupted Doctor Strange, who help Peter reunite with his fellow Knights, leaving Kang Prime and the pruned variants to be devoured and killed by the Void's hungry guardian Alioth. After their mission is fulfilled, the Slayers return to their universes as the Knights and their companions override the multiversal power core, destroying the Celestium. Praised by the TVA for their success, the Knights and their companions return to their universes, satisfied with their victory. Back home, Carter takes her leave in good terms with Peter, who is told by Gwenpool that she managed to retrieve the alternate versions of the Infinity Stones, which despite having limited power on their dimension, can still be useful for their personal needs.

Vol. 3: Guardians of the Multiverse Prelude

No Title
1 Angels of the Multiverse
Mere days after being killed by Scream, Jessie Avril (now a spirit) awakens in a heavenly paradise, where she is greeted by the spirits her mother Rosie and stepfather Wilson Allan, along with other deceased figures before being called by Thor's grandfather Bor Burison, who guides her to the Multiversal Plane, a dimension which connects spirits and souls with people from other universes. Jessie encounters four girls from the universes of Peter's fellow Knights of the Multiverse who look like and sound like her:
  • Tara, a former Galactic Horde cadet who was killed by the Red Sirens.
  • Juno Eclipse, a cadet of the Sith Empire who died trying to redeem a young Jedi who fell to the Dark Side of the Force.
  • Maria Robotnik, Dr. Robotnik's cousin and granddaughter of Shadow's creator Professor Gerald Robotnik who was killed in a riot at the Space Colony ARK.
  • Ursula Attinger, the daughter of MECH benefactor Harold Attinger who was trained to be an assassin by the agents of Cobra, until she was redeemed by Izabella Morgan, and sacrificed herself to stop MECH and Cobra from killing a group of Cybertronian children born on Earth.

The five girls have a peaceful conversation about the lives and relationships they had before their deaths. Later, after sensing the Knights defeating Kang the Conqueror and the Council of Kangs, Jessie, Tara, Juno, Maria and Ursula are bestowed with the energies of the Knights' swords, allowing them to transform into super-powered angels, and granting them the ability to temporarily take possession of any living being, although they remain as disembodied sprits. Inspired by the heroism of the Knights of the Multiverse, Jessie, Tara, Juno, Maria and Ursula dub themselves the "Angels of the Multiverse", and part ways back to their dimensions in good terms with each other, as they begin to fight evil forces in their worlds, with only the Knights being able to see and hear them.

2 No Weapons
Having decided what to do with the dimension-displaced variants of the Infinity Stones, Peter and Gwenpool are building the Infinity Eggs, a set of devices which use the Stone variants as batteries and are programmed to turn thoughts in reality, although they can be used only once, and then they cease to exist. After a successful test which results in Gwenpool building a Bioformer of her design, she and Peter part ways in good terms with each other, as each keeps half of the Infinity Eggs they built. They also agree not to use the Eggs to build weapons like Hulk's old enemy Thunderbolt Ross plans to do. Eventually, Peter checks on the sketches of the projects he dreamed of in his childhood, and eventually uses one Infinity Egg to convert an abandoned Oscorp facility (where Ross once bought the weapons which Norman Osborn produced for the Hulkbusters) into the "Wonder Corps", a toy factory which produces toys themed around the wonders of his fellow Knights' universes. Peter's friends as well as Stark / Iron Man, Captain America and the Fantastic Four are surprised of how fast Peter built the place, and also pleased to know he chose not repeat the same mistake Stark made in the past, as they check on the toys the facility is building. Next day, Ross seeks to check on what is left of Oscorp's weapons, only to be shocked to learn that it was replaced for Spider-Man's factory, where Stark and his assistant Happy Hogan are auctioning the toys for the present store owners. Ross attempts to loudly object to Spider-Man, only to be shooed away by Hulk fans protesting against Ross and his Hulkbusters, as Stark reminds Ross that he had been dishonorably discharged from his position as army general after the incident with Abomination, and that Oscorp's products had been declared illegal after Osborn was arrested for his crimes. Stark and Hogan continue the auctioning, as Peter takes some of the toys as gifts for Cassie, Ben, Bailey and Collin.
3 Beauty and the Beast, Part 1
As he works on the sketches for his next ideas with the Infinity Eggs, Peter / Spider-Man sees Elise Banner, a red-skinned child version of She-Hulk, playing with the toys Peter built in the Wonder Corps. Bruce Banner / Hulk comes by and begins telling Peter of his life time; following the incident with the Gamma Radiation bomb which caused his transformation into the Hulk, Banner endured a difficult life involving Ross, who had more than once led the Hulkbusters on the hunt for the Hulk, and also denied him of happiness with his first love: Ross’s daughter Dr. Betty Ross. Despite Ross having been dishonorably discharged from the army for involvement with creating the Abomination, Hulk chose to isolate himself in Savage Island. He had also met Greer Grant / Tigra, who found refuge in there years after her alien father died protecting her from Thanos and the Black Order. The two formed a bond over their issues and traumatic losses of parents, and eventually fell in love, giving birth to their son William. Few years after joining the Avengers, Hulk discovered that he had a female child clone created by Raymond Warren with the DNA of Sarah Kinney[11]. Taking pity of the child clone, Hulk agreed to look after her, whom he named Elise after Betty's late mother. Back in present, Hulk and Elise visit Peter at the Avril Mansion, where Peter's friends reveal to have used one of the Infinity Eggs to build a machine to melt and reshape metal. An impressed Peter eventually tests the machine by melting the Midtown High trophies (which he and his friends had deemed useless), and reshaping them into a tool of Hulk's desire. Feeling motivated by Peter's good life with his friends, Hulk chooses to reshape the melted trophies into a ring, which he completes with a crystal he collected from Savage Land. Moments later after to defeating Samuel Sterns / the Leader and a crew of A.I.M. troopers under his control, Hulk proposes to Tigra's hand in marriage, much to her joy, the delight from their fellow superheroes and nearby citizens, and the Leader's dismay.
4 Beauty and the Beast, Part 2
Using another of the Infinity Eggs, Spider-Man and the New Avengers reshape an abandoned Hulkbuster Base into a large altar for the wedding ceremony, while the Daily Bugle reporters publicly announce Hulk's upcoming wedding, although they do not specifically mention Tigra as the bride. Overhearing the news, Ross becomes enraged as he blindly believes that Hulk's bride is Betty, unaware that he is actually engaged to Tigra. Ross and his lieutenant Glenn Talbot then assemble the remaining members of the Hulkbusters (joined by Stark’s rival Justin Hammer) as he devises a plan to destroy the altar and trash the wedding. Unbeknownst to Ross and his men, Gwenpool and colonel James Rhodes spy on the Hulkbusters through their disguised Bioformers, and inform Peter of Ross's plan, as Peter and Stark reveal their secret contingency against the assault. As several superheroes (including Hulk's old friend Rick Jones / A-Bomb who is the best man) attend the ceremony, Ross and the Hulkbusters arrive and attempt to destroy the altar from a distance, but fail, unaware that the altar is protected by an energy barrier provided by the Eternals through the Uni-Mind. Just as Ross orders a closer offense, the Thunderbolts are ambushed by the Iron Phoenix Force, an army of Iron Legion drones powered and commanded by Peter through his Bioformer Sunsoar. Gwenpool and Rhodes (through their Bioformers Ghostrose and Blitzguard respectively) also surprise-attack the Hulkbusters, who are single-handedly defeated. Ross eventually tries to turn the tide by piloting an unfinished Hulkbuster Iron Man suit which Hammer started to replicate, only to be defeated by Sunsoar, Ghostrose and Blitzguard, who destroy the Hulkbusters’ vehicles and the armor, and take Ross, Talbot, Hammer and the soldiers to be arrested by the U.S. army. After Hulk and Tigra are pronounced husband and wife, Peter, Wendy and Rhodes enjoy the wedding reception with their fellow superheroes, with Peter noticing that his fellow Knights of the Multiverse had been secretly observing everything, as they profess themselves pleased with how the event went well before returning home.
5 Multiversal Destination
In a flashback, Peter was recalling his journey into the Sacred Multiverse before spotting the children he rescued (Ben, Collin, Cassie, Nadia Pym-Van Dyne, Alex Power, Bailey Bartholomew Briggs, Franklin Richards-Storm, and William) using simple materials to build the model of a theme park of their imagination dubbed “Kingdom of Legends”, which Peter overheard it is based on the universes of his fellow Knights. Using his newly developed 3D hologram projector, Peter helped the children perfect the model. He also admired the children's idea, despite lamenting that it would take years to be built for real. Peter was subsequently mocked by Flash for helping the children, only for Invisible Woman and Ben Grimm the Thing to scold Flash for his lack of respect, and give Peter and the children praise. In present day, Peter (still in possession of the 3D model’s file) decides to upload it in one of the Infinity Eggs, which converts a bankrupt theme park into a real version of the Kingdom of Legends, which he (as Spider-Man) plans to inaugurate next day. Meanwhile, Ms. Marvel and Nova are with the Guardians of the Galaxy (Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Drax and Groot), who have finished training Tarene Olson / Midgard Valkyrie as they set to fight Taserface’s crew of Ravagers, who are attacking Roxxon for an unknown prize as tasked by their unknown employer. Meanwhile, Flash and his colleagues (who were given a day off their prison sentence) are wandering around New York until they see the park built by Spider-Man (who is with Hogan receiving staff members), and try to sign up for the job, but are immediately rejected due to everyone’s distrust of them. The jocks soon find a mysterious staff which they believe to have the power to grant wishes, and tamper with it in an attempt to wish their names cleared out of their crimes, only to draw the attention of the fallen god Rapu, who had hired the Ravagers to retrieve his staff so he could be accepted back by the gods in Omnipotence City. A long chase issues in New York, with Rapu wreaking havoc and threatening citizens to try and get his staff back from the jocks. He is soon confronted and defeated by Midgard Valkyrie, who destroys the staff, as Spider-Man severely weakens Rapu with Phoenix Talon. As Rapu is taken to be judged by Odin and Zeus, and the jocks are again arrested for public endangerment, Tarene is praised by the public for her heroic actions, with Spider-Man welcoming her and the Guardians along with other superheroes to the newly opened Kingdom of Legends.
6 Plus Two
As Peter takes Ben and Felicia to visit the Kingdom of Legends, Mary Jane enjoys a beach day near the Avril Mansion with Kamala and Cassie, as she hears from the former of the time she spent with Peter after his falling out with Harry Osborn. As such, Mary Jane tells Kamala she could not attend the event in which Peter took Kamala as his plus one because she needed to watch over Cassie, who had lost her widowed father Scott months ago to the Punisher[12], and needed comfort over her grief, and Mary Jane (who sympathizes with Cassie due to having lost her parents and more recently her aunt Anna) had to give her all the motherly/sisterly love and care she needed until she finally came to terms with her father's death. As she watches Cassie make sand castles using a bucket resembling Sam's Nova Corps helmet, Kamala tells Mary Jane about Sam, revealing that he was also busy; he was assigned by the Nova Corps to train Ned's girlfriend Molly Brant, who had inherited the Nova Corps helmet of Sam's late father Jesse Alexander and become Silver Nova. The two underwent a peaceful training together before running to the Guardians of the Galaxy, who were at the time seeking to free a group of Nova Corps cadets who were captured by the Grandmaster, and forced to fight in his gladiatorial arena in Sakaar. Sam and Molly joined the fight, with the latter demonstrating the most impressive fighting skills, as she and Sam double-teamed to defeat the Grandmaster, allowing the Guardians to free the cadets. Molly earned great praise for her performance, and Sam was well congratulated for helping in her training. Back in present, Mary Jane and Kamala express great pleasure in hearing their stories, and also keep looking after Cassie, with Mary Jane muttering how happy Jessie would have been to hear of it. As the girls embrace Cassie, Jessie (in her form of the Angel of Midgard) watches proudly.

7 Marvelous Brave Knights
After seeing Kamala / Ms. Marvel sparring with Captain Britain’s trainees, the Excalibur Amazons, Peter / Spider-Man, Anya / Araña and Sam / Nova begin debating about ideas for Kamala's birthday party the next day. Sam and Anya suggest going for a trip in the Sacred Multiverse to gather the tools and materials for the decorations and perfect gifts, for which Peter agrees before having his Bioformer Sunsoar form a home-guard while they are away. Meanwhile, Ross (still shaken by his failure to trash the Hulk’s wedding) seeks revenge on Sunsoar for interfering, for which an unknown individual secretly provides him a stolen Gamma serum which mutates him into a red-skinned version of Hulk (soon dubbed Red Hulk), allowing him to break out of prison, and go after Sunsoar. Elsewhere, Peter introduces Anya and Sam to his fellow Knights’ universes and cultures, as the three gather the materials they need; including a fancy cake provided by Bright Moon’s bakers in Etheria’s universe (where Adora and her friends are hosting a culinary festival), holographic devices, bottles of blue milk and Chao-themed drones provided by Luke, Chewbacca, Sonic and Tails (at the same time the Jedi Knights are hosting an intergalactic racing event and Sonic and his friends are working on a movie project), and Cybertronian protoforms confiscated from Starscream and provided by Optimus, Ratchet and Izabella at the same time Optimus and the Autobots are supporting a LARPer community, eventually using their resources to build their gifts for Kamala. Meanwhile, Red Hulk goes on a rampage until Hulk intervenes, and fights him alongside Sunsoar, who is quick to recognize Red Hulk as Ross and his blind belief that Hulk is married to Betty. Red Hulk continues fighting Sunsoar and Hulk until the latter reveals that he is married to Tigra and not Betty, who suddenly appears, and (to Ross's shock) transforms into fire-breathing monstrous winged creature calling herself Harpy.
8 Nightmare in Red
In a flashback, Betty was overhearing news about Hulk’s wedding and was invited for the ceremony by Leonard Sampson, but she declined out of fear of ruining the event by luring her father and his army to the altar and trash the wedding, until an unknown individual had her envision Ross planning to do so anyway after believing that Hulk was marrying Betty, and not Tigra. Fed up with her father's obsessions with ruining the Hulk's life, Betty eventually took on an unstable serum she was working on, and became able to transform into the Harpy. Back in present, Red Hulk tries to reason with the Harpy, who savagely attacks him. As the two fight, Sunsoar, Hulk and Tigra choose to find the individual who gave Ross and Betty their powers, and apprehend him. Through the vial Betty dropped, they discover that the mastermind behind the situation is Zebediah Killgrave, a scientist who formerly worked for Oscorp, until his exposure to the Gamma radiation mutated him into Purple Man. The trio confront Purple Man, who voices his plans to manipulate Harpy into fighting Red Hulk in New York, planning to destroy the city in revenge for Osborn's disregard of his condition. Right before Harpy gains the upper hand, and begins flying towards Red Hulk towards the city (with the impact expected to obliterate New York), Sunsoar conjures a Portal Ring to teleport Harpy and Red Hulk towards the military base where Banner first became the Hulk, destroying the facility, as Betty reverts back to normal, but succumbs to the overextended use of her Gamma radiation and dies in Red Hulk's arms. Grieving over his daughter’s death, Ross realizes the error of his ways, and surrenders to the authorities, as Purple Man is stripped off his powers by Sunsoar and arrested. Next day, after holding a funeral for Betty, Hulk and Tigra accompany Peter, Anya and Sam in attending Kamala's birthday party, as Peter acknowledges how Osborn started a conflict with dangerous people from both his and the other Knights' universes, and vows to be prepared.
9 The Kids Are Alright
After watching as Ant-Man and Wasp defeat the Serpent Society and stop them from stealing Pym Industries’ technologies, Cassie finds a prototype of the Pym particle nanosuit projector in the middle of the debris, and takes it home. As she watches Bailey / Spider-Boy providing Ben and Collin their superhero suits (with the boys dubbing themselves Kid Arachnid and Kid Nitro respectively), Cassie uses the projector to craft and don a pink Pym particle suit and dubs herself Ant-Girl. The four children begin training together under Peter's and Mary Jane's instructions before setting out for their first day as superheroes. Meanwhile, Mysterio plans to take over Beemont Chemical Corporation by sabotaging its arrogant and spoiled hereditary Martin Goldman, while using nanotech devices designed with technology confiscated from Arcade. Mysterio eventually takes inspiration from Wild Motor Galaxy, a kart racing/vehicular combat video game created by Peter with another Infinity Egg. After a series of junior level heroics (such as helping citizens find their missing belongings and pets), Bailey, Ben, Cassie and Collin encounter and spy on Mysterio, who secretly inserts a microscopic drone on Goldman's brain, and uses his high-tech devices on two interns' copy of Peter’s game, which causes Goldman to hallucinate about several characters from Wild Motor Galaxy (consisting of anthropomorphic animals riding customized racing vehicles) to be in his surroundings. Goldman soon embarrasses himself in front of his boss Alan Beemont and fellow employees when his high school bully victims Gray and Lucas mock him through their game avatars (a crocodile named Chuck Dreadspin and a shark named Fred Overkill respectively), resulting in Goldman being fired. After hallucinating of Dreadspin and Overkill wrecking his car's driver door with their karts, Goldman gives chase to get revenge, inadvertently wreaking havoc in the streets with his reckless driving, as Spider-Boy and Kid Nitro rush to stop him, and Kid Arachnid and Ant-Girl set out to stop Mysterio by disabling his devices. Spider-Boy and Kid Nitro disable Goldman's car before the drone in his brain runs out of power, causing him to cease hallucinating about the Wild Motor Galaxy racers. As Mysterio is beaten by Kid Arachnid and Ant-Girl, and taken to the Raft, Goldman is taken to a mental hospital, with the children learning of his past as a bully, and choosing not to mention him as a pawn for Mysterio's plan. Returning home, Bailey, Ben, Cassie and Collin are congratulated for their first day of heroics, and they rejoice with a match of Wild Motor Galaxy.
10 A Kitty's Day Out
Spider-Man and X-Men trainee Kitty Pryde / Ghost Cat defeat Absorbing Man, with the latter’s newly developed Vibranium suit absorbing a duplicated fragment of Phoenix Talon. Next day, Kitty finds herself able to access the Fire Dimension, which inspires her to go on a field trip across the Sacred Multiverse. Learning of this, Spider-Man decides to be Kitty's tour guide. During the trip, Peter also introduces Kitty to his fellow Knights, whom the pair also help defeat their opponents; aiding Adora / She-Ra, Glimmer, Entrapta and Rebellion shapeshifter Double-Trouble in their fight against Captain Amber and her Red Sirens, fighting alongside Luke, Chewbacca and the Mandalorian royal guard led by Bo-Katan Kryze against the Mandalorian terrorists known as Death Watch led by Sith exile Darth Maul, joining Sonic, Sophie Prower and Shadow in fighting the Jackal Squad led by Infinite, and aiding Optimus, Arcee, Izabella / Talonstrike and a G.I. Joe squadron in stopping Starscream and a horde of corrupted Cobra robots under his control. During which, Kitty also earns a Tech-type Heart Gem from Glimmer and Entrapta to give her suit technopathic capabilities, a Kyber Crystal from Chewbacca to energize her suit’s claws, and a Bioformer (which she can control with her suit) from Izabella codenamed Moonlynx, and also adopting a female Jade Ghost Spark (a race of genetic hybrids of the Wisps and the Chao) who she names Enya. Back in their universe, Spider-Man and Ghost Cat are summoned to join their comrades in fighting Red Skull and an army of new Hydra robots designed by Arnim Zola with technology from Oscorp's Spider-Slayers and Bolivar Trask’s Sentinels which are on a rampage in New York. Aided by her suit upgrades as well as Enya and Moonlynx, Kitty directly attacks Zola in the main Hydra robot body, using her enhanced phasing abilities to relocate Zola's essence and soul into an inanimate clone body, disabling his robots and turning him into a powerless human. As Red Skull, Zola and their remaining forces retreat, the heroes give Kitty praise for her performance, with the X-Men promoting her from trainee to official team member, to her delight. Peter confesses himself impressed by the fact that Kitty discovered her powers and has been a superheroine for around the same period as Kamala, but has already become a pro.
11 What Makes Spider-Man a Spider-Man?
In the Blue Area of the Moon, Peter / Spider-Man uses one of the last Infinity Eggs[13] to build the Amazing Fantasy, a restaurant and party club for superheroes only, run by female A.I. android Jocasta. Next day, several heroes attend and enjoy the club. Stark / Iron Man, Rogers / Captain America, Thor and Hulk confess themselves impressed by how Peter did well lately as Spider-Man, for which the four begin sharing stories of when each of them first teamed up with Spider-Man:
  • In the day after Ben Parker’s killer Dennis Carradine was arrested, Captain America first met and teamed up with Spider-Man when a patrol of A.I.M. Troopers were sent to capture and kill a Daily Bugle reporter who carried evidence of MODOK.’s plan. After the troopers were defeated, J. Jonah Jameson came along to accuse Spider-Man of luring the troopers to the Bugle, only to be yelled at and shunned by witnesses (as well as the employee, who chose to quit her job, and Captain America) for his lack of gratitude, as Spider-Man was more genuinely thanked.
  • In the day after Jameson was arrested for the Arcade incident, Stark met Peter / Spider-Man when they both chased the super-criminal Ghost, and teamed up to stop him from robbing Horizon Labs. Stark became impressed by Peter’s intellect during their team up, and offered him an internship at Stark Industries. Stark also met Mary Jane, and offered to give her Jackpot bracelet an upgrade.
  • Thor first met and teamed up with Spider-Man when they both fought against a prototype of Arcade's Super-Adaptoid, which they learned was under Loki's control as part of his plan to recreate the Destroyer, a sentient Asgardian armor which went rogue following Loki's latest scheme. Tracking down Loki, Spider-Man and Thor defeated Loki, and disabled the new Destroyer, with Thor appreciating Spider-Man's fighting spirit.
  • Hulk first teamed up with Spider-Man when Dr. Curt Connors was experimenting on the Lunar Gem responsible for Jameson's son John Jameson's transformation into the Man-Wolf, only to be mutated into a vampiric version of his Lizard form. Hulk and Spider-Man managed to defeat the Lizard and find a cure for him and other scientists and students who were infected. Spider-Man also earned Hulk's respect for both his willpower and genius intellect.

Back in present, the four Avengers watch as Peter is enjoying himself with his friends, with Stark and Rogers seeing it as the reason Peter calls himself “your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man”. Also noticing Peter with Kitty / Ghost Cat, Rhodes, Dazzler, Falcon, and Groot, the Avengers acknowledge that Peter still has plans to show everyone what he saw in the Sacred Multiverse, including his fellow Knights. Thor agrees as he more personally notices blue aura runes appearing in Peter's body.

12 Multiversal Transcendence
Peter / Spider-Man is fighting against the super-criminal White Rabbit, who was sent by a mysterious crime lord known as the Regent to break the Spot out of prison, and defeats her with surprising help from Adora / She-Ra (who is at the same time fighting Horde sorceress Shadow Weaver) despite both of them being in separate universes, causing both White Rabbit and Shadow Weaver to envision themselves in each other's body, with the former developing a severe body dysmorphic disorder after their in-fight, and Shadow Weaver being left catatonic. After some friendly banter with Adora, Peter consults Thena, who reveals that Peter has just unlocked his Multiversal Transcendence, a cosmic power which allows the Knights of the Multiverse to be connected with each other even when in different dimensions. Peter / Spider-Man continues fighting the Regent’s henchmen (Scorpion, Ezekiel "Zeke" Stane / Iron Monger II, and Nimrod) and defeats them with help from Luke, Sonic and Optimus through the Multiversal Transcendence (at the same time the three are fighting rogue Jedi Pong Krell, Robotnik’s dimensional descendant Eggman Nega and former Cybertronian officer-turned-fugitive Darkwing respectively), resulting in Scorpion, Stane, Eggman Nega and Krell suffering mental breakdowns, and Nimrod and Darkwing being overclocked and destroyed the same way White Rabbit and Shadow Weaver were defeated. After a heart-to-heart with his fellow Knights (who are gathered in the Omniversal Sanctuary), Peter settles to fight the Regent himself, who is launching an attack at the Raft in his power suit at the same time Adora / She-Ra, Luke, Sonic and Optimus are confronted by Hypersaur scientist Dr. Gear in his mech suit. Still using their Multiversal Transcendence techniques, the five Knights defeat the Regent and Dr. Gear, causing the two to each other for the same body, overwhelming and killing Dr. Gear, and leaving Regent mentally disabled. As the Regent is taken to a mental institute, Peter's friends and other superheroes are amazed and curious about how he managed to do it. Peter is then approached by Mary Jane and Kamala, as he uses the Multiversal Transcendence to allow the girls to envision the Omniversal Sanctuary and his fellow Knights, whom the girls are happy to meet again[14].
