“Exodus”
Peter Parker works to adjust to his duties with his and other universes.
Peter Parker / Spider-Man and the New Avengers remain on their duties as superheroes, as they constantly refuse John Flynn's suggestion to replace their female members for his all-male personal "superhero team", the Midtown Marauders (consisting of Anti-Goblin, Mister Power, Dragon Slayer, new recruits Agent Midtown, Stone Boy, Giant Boy, Scorcher, Discord, and led by Flynn's son Rowan Flynn / Sentinel), while knowing that their televised battles against the Golden King and the Thunderbolts (Meteorite, Wizard, Ghost, Scorpion II, Ultimatum, and Crimson Dynamo) as a fraudulent act; to try and prove his disciples' worth, Flynn pits his Marauders against the female members, who swiftly defeat them, and unmask Agent Midtown, Stone Boy, Giant Boy, Scorcher, Discord as Flash Thompson and his gang of disgraced Midtown High School jocks, while Anti-Goblin retreats when Flynn intervenes, causing him and the Marauders to be given a restraining order to keep them away from the New Avengers' turf. All the while, Peter continues working alongside the Knights of the Multiverse (consisting of Princess Adora / She-Ra, Luke Skywalker, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Optimus Prime), while learning more about the Hypersaurs. The New Avengers also constantly battle Doctor Doom, who seeks to win back his place in the throne of Latveria after being exiled by Princess Hope[1], and Norman Osborn / Green Goblin, who had been broken out of prison by the elusive Doom Goblin, a self-proclaimed Herald of Doctor Doom who wants revenge on Flynn and the Marauders, with Peter and his friends suspecting that Flynn is just as corrupt as Osborn. Miles Morales / Spy-D and Lana Baumgartner Summers / Bombshell eventually find and record evidence about it being true after they find Flynn employing the Golden King for the Marauders’ rise in exchange for gold made of petrified bystanders. After defeating and slaying a pack of Xenophages (Klyntarian monsters which were once subordinates of the Symbiotes' creator Knull), Peter finds the Star Siege and attempts to commence a ritual with the Infinity Stones, but is advised by Sentinel’s mentor and supporter Captain Ultra and Horizon Labs interns Herman Schultz and Clayton Cole to wait for the architects to study it first. Consequently, Riot, the leader of the Symbiote Invasion Force, steals the Star Siege (which he believes is the source of Phoenix Talon's power), and shatters it into pieces, causing an incursion which Peter contains with the Infinity Sword. Believing his fellow Knights to be lost after hearing no response from them, Peter furiously kills the Riot Symbiote, and commands his Bioformer Sunsoar and the Iron Phoenix Force to hunt down and kill every last Symbiote in the universe. Anti-Goblin attempts to stop him, only for Peter to subdue him and expose him to the public as a clone of Osborn's deceased son Harry, subsequently exposing the identities of the Golden King and the recruited Marauders to New York as well. Unbeknownst to Peter, his fellow Knights (stranded in the Avengers' universe but still alive) are watching everything from a distance, as they acknowledge that things got out of hand. In a mid-credit scene, Doctor Doom is guided by Carnage to a dark cave where it was once the throne of Knull, as Doom obtains Knull's ancient weapon, the Necrosword, for which the Xenophages bow to him as their new master. Unbeknownst to Doom, Knull (whose spirit is preserved within the Necrosword) is watching gleefully.

“Shattered”
The Multiverse is broken open, bringing Peter's fellow Knights to his universe.
As Sunsoar and the Iron Phoenix Force continue and complete their mission, Riot's host Carlton Drake is cursed to experience the Symbiotes' pain, Midas goes to hiding, and Captain Ultra, Flynn and the unmasked Marauders face negativity from the public, Peter mourns the apparent loss of his fellow Knights until Thena informs him that the Knights are still alive, and urges him to rendezvous with them, while also telling him that although the Star Siege is broken apart, it can still be rebuilt by reassembling its scattered fragments. He settles to do so after placing a protection enchantment on the Infinity Sword to prevent it from being even touched, and keep the incursion contained, with Mary Jane Watson / Jackpot, Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel and the New Avengers, as well as Tony Stark / Iron Man, T'Challa / Black Panther, Rocket Raccoon, Wolverine and the heroes who previously met the Knights (Peggy Carter / Captain Britain, Dazzler, Falcon, James Rhodes / War Machine and Groot) following him. After spying on and recording evidence of Sentinel delivering innocent citizens (including Peter's aunt May) to Midas / Golden King in exchange of him cooperating with his superhero masquerade (while also killing Midas's daughter Meredith for supposedly betraying them), Peter and the Knights (as well as Adora's steed Swift Wind and Luke's companion droid R2-D2) reunite after the latter four defeat Midas and the Thunderbolts (whom they imprison in the Fire Dimension) and a pack of Xenophages in Midas's fortress, and rescue May and the hostages as well as those Midas had turned into gold, including Sandman and his family. After curing the hostages and sending them home, Peter and the Knights discuss plans about how to stop Doctor Doom (as they know he wields the Necrosword, and believes Phoenix Talon is powerless following Riot’s shattering of the Star Siege) and his newly assembled Heralds as well as the Xenophages under his control, whom other superheroes (including the Avengers and the Fantastic Four) are having a hard time dealing with. Mary Jane, Kamala and the heroes following Peter also meet the Knights, and agree to help them as well, with Stark offering shelter at a Stark facility monitored by Pepper Potts and Max Modell, and Sonic providing some of his Rings to give them an advantage. During a confrontation with Captain Ultra, Spider-Man is confronted by the Masters of Revenge (Madame Masque, Loki, MODOK, and Ronan the Accuser), who seek to coerce him into joining them in fighting the "invaders", as well as Sentinel, who had enlisted Otto Octavius / Doctor Octopus in helping dispose of both Spider-Man and Captain Ultra, only for the villains to be beaten by Spider-Man with help from Kitty Pryde, Vision and the displaced Knights; Optimus confiscates Octavius's tentacle harness so he, Adora, Luke and Sonic can warp the Masters of Revenge away. Peter imprisons Rowan in the Fire Dimension and forces him to envision the past lives and terrible fates of other villains who called themselves "Sentinel" in the Knights' universes. Meanwhile, Mary Jane and Kamala defeat the Doom Goblin, whom they unmask as Flynn's rejected and presumably deceased son Richard, who blames both Peter and Harry for Sally Avril's death[2]. Having lost their internship with the New Avengers for being indirectly involved with Drake's schemes, Herman and Clayton get revenge on Flynn and the Marauders by exposing Scorcher of using a Soul Stone prototype to reanimate Sally's corpse as a zombie, provoking Thompson into revealing that his "power suit" is actually a Symbiote offspring of Carnage, and killing Scorcher in front of horrified witnesses, further damaging the Marauders' reputation, as Thompson goes into hiding before being captured and enslaved by Carnage. In response to Flynn letting the Marauders escape from police custody, Mary Jane and Kamala expose the Doom Goblin's identity to the public as Peter likewise reveals the truth about Rowan's masquerade, leading to Flynn being held responsible for his sons' crimes and given a life sentence in prison, while a freed yet disarmed and humiliated Rowan is ambushed and killed by Richard in revenge for having forsaken him to Doom and the Necrosword. As his fellow Knights work with the New Avengers in stopping Doom's heralds led by Carnage and the Xenophages from reaching Latveria, Peter challenges Doom himself, luring and dragging him into the Fire Dimension, where there are no shadows for the Necrosword to teleport and escape through. Revealing Phoenix Talon to be intact and still powerful, Peter wields it to defeat Doom, and destroy the Necrosword along with Knull's spirit for good. The process also causes Doom (who unknowingly sold his own soul for Knull), Carnage (whose host Cletus Kasady is left to fall off a building to his death), the Xenophages, Richard (who soberly envisions Sally being displeased with what he became) and the Heralds (who were also corrupted by the Necrosword) to be disintegrated, and Thompson to be freed from Carnage's influence. As Thompson and the Marauders are "arrested" by Flynn's associate Tyler Hayward and Captain Ultra’s superior Truman Marsh so they will be trained by the Thunderbolts, Peter is praised for his efforts by his friends and Stark as well as Jessica Reilly, Hunter Watson and the Fantastic Four, to whom he introduces his fellow Knights. Elsewhere, Thanos is informed of Doom's death and the Necrosword's destruction, seeing it as the right moment to attack Earth. In a Mid-credit scene, Anna Maria Marconi, Carolyn Trainer and Darcy Lewis are babysitting Jessica's and Hunter's children and overhearing of Doom's defeat until they get a surprise visit from the displaced Knights' girlfriends (Princess Catra, Mara Jade, Amy Rose and Elita-One), and decide to call Peter.

“Return of the Legends”
Peter is sent for a mission with the Avengers, as the Knights' friends are loose.
In a flashback, the Knights and their comrades were battling their enemies while protecting the sources of their universes until the incursion started, with each universe getting affected by an Infinity Stone (Power, Space, Time and Reality respectively). As Peter / Spider-Man used the Infinity Sword to contain the incursion, Adora / She-Ra, Luke, Sonic and Optimus sought to do the same by grabbing a hold of the Stones, causing them and their comrades to be teleported into the Avengers' universe, but end up scattered across their Earth, with Catra, Mara, Amy, Elita and their companions landing in Central Park. In present, as he gathers his friends and fellow Knights in the Stark facility and has a warm moment with Aunt May, Peter is called by Anna Maria to the Reilly-Watson mansion, where he encounters Catra, Mara, Amy, Elita and their companions, whom he then reunites with his fellow Knights, and introduces to Mary Jane. Just then, Peter becomes aware and concerned about others who have also been teleported from their universes to the Avengers' dimension by the incursion, as Doctor Stephen Strange arrives with Princess Glimmer, Bow, Ezra Bridger, Cal Kestis, Ahsoka Tano and Knuckles the Echidna (who were consulting the Starhold in the Sanctum Sanctorum), as well as Ororo Munroe / Storm, Glory Grant / Gorilla Girl and the Dora Milaje, who had found Princess Allegra, Maximal scout Cheetor and Dinobot leader Grimlock in Wakanda's savannah. Eventually, Peter is convinced to join Stark, T'Challa, Wolverine, Rocket and Groot as well as the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and reluctantly Captain Ultra and a powerless Hyperion in confronting Thanos's forces, and let his friends handle the situation. As the Avengers and the Guardians infiltrate Thanos's space station the Sanctuary X with Sonic's rings and using remote-controlled spacecrafts as decoys, the New Avengers, the Fantastic Four and the X-Men resume to help the Knights find and retrieve their friends, including Kowl, Wedge Antilles, Miles "Tails" Prower and Bumblebee (who are found by Kamala / Ms. Marvel, Nova and Human Torch in New Jersey), Izabella Morgan, Sally Acorn, Sophie Prower, C-3PO, Princess Entrapta, Ratchet and Wheeljack (who are found by Gwen Stacy and Anya Corazon in Horizon Academy), and Shadow the Hedgehog, Rouge the Bat, Ultra Magnus, Scorpia and Han Solo's Millennium Falcon crew (who are found in Flynn's secret military base in the deserts of Utah). After all displaced heroes are gathered, Strange and Storm relocate them to a Wakandan sanctuary along with the contained Infinity Stones and Star Siege fragments after suspecting that someone on Earth could be a spy working for Thanos. As he continues his mission with the Avengers and the Guardians despite remaining hostile towards Captain Ultra and Hyperion, Peter finds and frees a flock of Wisps and Chao and a group of Wookiees which appeared on the Sanctuary X, and has Lockjaw take them to his garden in Attilan. Peter grows increasingly concerned about who or what else landed on his universe because of the incursion, as the Avengers and the Guardians assure him they will make things right in due time. Shortly after Marsh (who is revealed to be Thanos's spy) alerts the Black Order, Peter and the group confront Thanos and his Black Order (consisting of the brainwashed and roboticized Thunderbolts) as Hyperion is possessed by a synthetic Symbiote which mutates him into a monstrous colossus under Thanos's control, while the Klyntauri (led by Mysterio through his fused Elementals) are sent to attack Wakanda, with the heroes in there holding them off. As the Avengers and Guardians battle against the Black Order members, Peter duels with Thanos himself, eventually defeating him when Phoenix Talon becomes connected with the swords of his fellow Knights, who likewise manage to vanquish the Klyntauri. Peter and the Knights also defeat Mysterio and the Symbiote-possessed Hyperion with the Multiversal Transcendence, at the same time Gwen and Anya capture and expose Marsh, and Rocket and Black Widow detonate a moon-killer nuke in Sanctuary X. Peter and his group manage to evacuate with the defeated Black Order members, leaving Thanos to die as the nuke obliterates Sanctuary X. As the world celebrates Thanos's defeat and Captain Ultra resigns in shame, Peter is again praised for his success as he warmly introduces his fellow Knights to the rest of the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy. Peter is also greeted by S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury and commander Maria Hill, who congratulate him for his success before Phil Coulson informs him of other threats Peter may be familiar with. Peter's concerns about the Multiverse return, as the incursion is revealed to have also brought the Knights' enemies to the Avengers' universe. Elsewhere, the displaced villains (consisting of the Galactic Horde, the Sith Empire, Doctor Robotnik and his robot army, and the Decepticons), are informed of Thanos's defeat, which they view as an opening, and plan their universal uprising. Meanwhile, Marsh is carried to prison, where he and Flynn find J. Jonah Jameson dead before being attacked and killed by an unseen figure in the shadows. In a mid-credit scene, an incarcerated Octavius is broken free by the Masters of Revenge for a proposition they have for him, presenting him a new tentacle harness when he accepts.

“Bring On the Bad Guys”
Villains from the Knights' universes are on a rampage in the Avengers' dimension.
In another flashback during the incursion, as the heroes were transported to some parts of the Avengers' universe, the villains were transported into (as Uatu the Watcher describes) the darker areas, which they subsequently overthrew the residing villains for: Empress Despara / Horde Prime and her Horde forces have taken over the Hydra Island and Madame Masque's mask and ship, and brainwashed the members of the Shadow Council as their servants after killing Red Skull and Arnim Zola. Darth Vader and the Sith Empire have invaded and conquered Sakaar, killing the Grandmaster, and banishing Loki (who was offered a place in Sakaar after being exiled from Jottunheim). Robotnik and his robots have overpowered MODOK, and taken over his A.I.M. island, roboticizing and brainwashing the villains working for MODOK after killing Scientist Supreme. Megatron and the Decepticons have conquered the Kree city of Harfax, taking control of the Kree Sentries, destroying the Supreme Intelligence, and exiling Ronan, whose new ship was destroyed and assimilated by Megatron. Back in present, Peter warns the others about the displaced villains' threat, as the heroes also deduce the villains plan for revenge for the damage caused in their universes by Osborn earlier. As the Avengers, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four and the Guardians of the Galaxy split in teams to join the Knights and their comrades in stopping the villains from attacking Attilan, Asgard, Genosha and Xandar respectively, Peter / Spider-Man and the New Avengers are tasked to form a home-guard in New York to stop other supervillains from laying waste to the city to collect a bounty placed on the Midtown Marauders by mysterious benefactors. The New Avengers also battle other enemies of the Knights who have also been transported from their universes to the Avengers' dimension (consisting of Captain Amber and the Red Sirens, Darth Maul and the Death Watch, Infinite and the Jackal Squad, and Starscream and his Terrorcons), as the displaced villains likewise target Thompson and Anti-Goblin, killing their teammates and the Thunderbolts in the process. The two are confronted by Herman and Clayton (who have taken the monikers of Shocker and Clash respectively, and are the masterminds behind the bounty). Just as Thompson's Symbiote loses control again, Spider-Man arrives, and destroys the Symbiote before he and the New Avengers defeat Anti-Goblin, Shocker and Clash, forcing the latter two to cancel the bounty, and Anti-Goblin to retreat. As the Red Sirens, the Death Watch, the Jackal Squad and Starscream are put in S.H.I.E.L.D. custody, and others retreat, the New Avengers regroup with their allies and the displaced heroes, as they formulate a plan to find and retrieve the remaining fragments of the Star Siege. In a mid-credit scene, Anti-Goblin breaks Thompson out of prison, as ordered by Hayward to settle a bargain with their other associate known as "the Enforcer".

“What Are Friends For”
New friendships are formed between the heroes in the Sacred Multiverse.
Tracking down the Star Siege's fragments (which are scattered around Earth), the heroes spread out in small teams to locate the missing shards, and reassemble them before they can fall in wrong hands. They also need to contend with the dimension-displaced villains (who are also seeking to collect the fragments, and use them to conquer their universes) and the Masters of Revenge (who have decided to eliminate the "invaders" regardless of the faction, and destroy the fragments). As they progress, the heroes grow to further bond with the displaced Knights and the allies; high examples are Kamala, who bonds with Kowl, Wedge, Tails and Bumblebee, and Mary Jane, who further bonds with Catra, Mara, Amy and Elita. Peter is pleased with this progress, as Stark and Rogers acknowledge Peter's desire to establish peace between the five universes (which is also why the Knights intend to unlock the Multiverse Star), and agree with his terms. Just then, they are confronted by rogue Master of the Mystic Arts Baron Mordo, who is in league with the Masters of Revenge out of protest against Spider-Man's opinions that the five universes should co-exist with one another, and fights Spider-Man in the Mirror Dimension. Taking his sling ring and the Siege fragment in his possession, Spider-Man manages to defeat Mordo, and leaves him stranded in the Mirror Dimension, with Doctor Strange offering to prevent him from escaping. Alerted that Hobgoblin broke Thompson out of his cell, Kamala, Kowl, Wedge, Tails and Bumblebee follow them to Midtown High, where they also obtain some of the Star Siege fragments, and teachers are discussing who should replace Flynn as principal. There, the pair discover Thompson, Anti-Goblin and Hayward in a secret lab, and report back to the heroes and S.H.I.E.L.D., for which Peter / Spider-Man rushes for the situation, with Jackpot, Sonic, Adora, Luke, and Optimus following him. While Kamala tries to convince the teachers and students to evacuate the school, Thompson gains a new Symbiote with an inhibitor device, but is soon betrayed by the Enforcer, who reveals himself as Osborn, and reports Thompson's location to the Masters of Revenge. As Kamala evacuates the students and teachers with help from Bumblebee and battles Anti-Goblin (who is being brainwashed by Osborn into serving him), and Spider-Man and the others hold back the Masters of Revenge, Osborn engages Thompson in a fight which progressively causes the school to collapse, resulting in Hayward's death. Osborn overwhelms Thompson, and uses the inhibitor to take the Symbiote (which turns red, and mutates Osborn into the Red Goblin) for himself before leaving him to die in the collapsing school. Thompson is saved by Kamala and Bumblebee, but is arrested for the incident, while Anti-Goblin learns of the original Harry's fate, and turns against Osborn, who kills him. With only one Star Siege fragment remaining, Peter and the heroes decide to take on Osborn, who is using the last fragment as a battery for the Symbiote Inhibitor, and the displaced villains, as they name their alliance the "Guardians of the Multiverse". In a mid-credit scene, Osborn proposes an alliance with the Masters of Revenge, demanding "a place in the sit" in exchange of resources to destroy the "invaders", and retrieve their stolen resources and territories.

“One Multiverse, One Realm”
The newly formed Guardians of the Multiverse work to stop the ultimate threat to their homes.
Aware of the great threat they are about to face, the Guardians of the Multiverse make heavy preparations for the battle against the Masters of Revenge and the dimension-displaced villains, and heed Spider-Man's plan to lure the villains into the island where the displaced heroes first landed into during the incursion, using imperfect duplicates of the Star Siege and of the Infinity Stones as baits. Seeing everything though one of the walls of the Mirror Dimension, Mordo attempts to alert both the Masters of Revenge and the displaced villains about Spider-Man's plan, but is stopped by Doctor Strange with a silence spell, and astral runes which negate his powers. The Guardians arrive on the island in time before they are confronted by the displaced villains (the Horde, the Sith Empire, Robotnik and his forces, and the Decepticons), whom they defeat, while also removing their stolen resources. The Masters of Revenge also arrive willing to exterminate both the heroes and villains in the island. As the Avengers fight the Masters off, Spider-Man duels with Osborn, who professes his intentions of betraying the Masters of Revenge, and taking their territories for himself once they are done with their part of the deal. Despite Osborn being able to awaken the World-Killer (a dragon-like Symbiote monster which Riot sought to awaken earlier), Spider-Man manages to defeat Osborn, absorb his Symbiote with Phoenix Talon (again empowered by the Multiversal Transcendence), and retrieve the Siege fragment. Spider-Man also uses Phoenix Talon to convert the Symbiote into an Anti-Symbiote bomb, and channels it into the World-Killer, destroying it, and ending its threat. Osborn attempts to reunite with the dying Symbiote, but is separated from his armor and technology by Luke and Ms. Marvel, and teleported by one of Sonic's Ring Portals into a snowy, cold wasteland along with the Masters of Revenge, who had overheard what Osborn said, and proceed to kill him. With the last fragment reassembled, the Star Siege is restored, and can now be reunited with the Infinity Stones. After Luke and Doctor Strange erase the unconscious villains' memories of the event, the Avengers and their allies bid a heartwarming farewell for the Knights and their allies, who assure that they will meet again once the Multiverse Star is unlocked on its own. The Infinity Stones are linked into the rebuilt Star Siege, and sent back to the Heart of Infinity where they belong, allowing the displaced heroes and villains to return peacefully to their home dimensions, and restoring time in the five universes. Sometime later, the heroes continue their old lives anew in their universes, while they await for the Multiverse Star to open. In a mid-credit scene, a mysterious young girl in another dimension oversees the production of her robots, and learns of a super-soldier in the Avengers' universe.
