“Lethal Protector”

(episode begins with Eddie Brock participating in a wrestling match against Bonesaw McGee. Brock is losing the match while being laughed at by the crowd)

Eddie Brock: (voice over) So, you're probably wondering: how am I still here? How am I still alive? If you call this "alive". Probably because part of me is still me, and part of me isn't. The part that isn't me... is something kinda... (with an inhuman voice) lethal.
Bonesaw McGee: (mockingly) Whatcha gonna do, Mamma's baby boy? Are ya gonna cry for mommy? Are ya gonna ask her to change your dippers now?

(just as McGee attempts to grab Brock's head, Brock's Symbiote tendrils manifest themselves, and grab McGee's arms and legs. Then, the whole Symbiote manifests around Brock's body, transforming him into Venom)

Venom: She's not gonna change my dippers. Just cook your fucking limbs for lunch! (rips off McGee's right arm, and throws towards one of McGee's maidens, spilling blood in her face, as she screams horrified. Then, Venom bites McGee's head off, killing him before ripping McGee's body apart, as the crowd panics) Now the crowd's going crazy, isn't it?! Because we're hungry!

(he proceeds to attack and kill the guests and staff. He graps the ringmaster by the throat)

Ringmaster: (choking; horrified) What... are you?!
Venom: We... are Venom!

(he proceeds to bite off the Ringmaster's head. Minutes later, Venom is carrying the prize money, and walking over the numerous mutilated corpses, as he slowing transforms back into Brock)

Eddie Brock: (seeing the headless bodies and bloodied ) Jesus. You didn't have to do that.
Venom: What else should I do? Let McGee treat us like his punching bag like a school bully?
Eddie Brock: He was an asshole, sure. But you didn't have to kill him. And I told you before. We were to supposed to hurt just bad people.
Venom: And what makes you think these fuckers were good people? They were cheering on him as if we were supposed to lose.

“Hunted”

(in a prologue, we see the Punisher being confronted by Spider-Man in a highway)

Spider-Man: Punisher.
Punisher: You should've let him hit the pavement.
Spider-Man: You shouldn't have thrown him.
Punisher: He slipped.
Iron Man: (lands right in front of Castle) Yeah. So did the other guys who took like ten shots from you.
Punisher: Go fuck yourself, Stark. You and your red and blue pijama new boy who think you--

(Spider-Man interrupts by grappling him with a web, pulling him and punching him in his face, knocking him in the ground, and causing Castle's nose to bleed. As Peter speaks Captain America approaches)

Spider-Man: I'd say you should watch your mouth, unless you wanna lose your favorite teeth.
Captain America: Easy, soldier. There's no need for that. (to Castle) As for you, I believe it's time we had a talk about the you "handle the situation".
Punisher: And here you all go again. You act like these pigs deserve a second chance. But you know fucking well they don't!
Captain America: We told you before, Frank. What the criminals who killed your family did was unforgivable. But we're not judge or jury. We have laws. If we don't follow them, we're no better than the criminals.
Spider-Man: Especially the ones who didn't even want to be criminals in first place.
Punisher: What are you saying?
Spider-Man: What if the men you killed were just working for Hammerhead because they didn't have a choice? What if they were doing it because they were afraid? What if... what if they were doing it because Hammerhead was threatening to find and kill their families? (as Spider-Man speaks, the Punisher takes hard breaths) Their wives? Their children? Their parents? Their homes? Their--
Punisher: (interrupts, rasing his voice) SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!

(takes his motorcycle and storms away from the three)

Spider-Man: I spoke too much, didn't I?
Captain America: It's alright. You just tried to get him to his senses.

(they check on the bodies of Punisher's victims, and see one of them dropping a photo)

Iron Man: You're also not wrong. These guys were being blackmailed by Hammerhead. This one... this one had a daughter.

(Spider-Man checks the corpse disappointed, and lets the morgue workers take the bodies away, as he looks at Punisher's direction with an infuriated expression)

(in a mid-credit scene, the Grandmaster is in his throne room)

The Grandmaster: No answer from him. What happened to Venom? Why won't he answer? (he hears a rumble) What now?!

(he and his guards hear an inhuman bird screech. Then, the frontdoor explodes, and Sunsoar bursts in, confronting Grandmaster in Phoenix form)

Sunsoar: I'm only going to ask once. (changes to robot form) Where is Morlun?

“The Darkest Hour, Part 3: Midnight Suns”

(in a flashback, Morlun and the Inheritors, arrive at an abandoned church)

Morlun: He is here. Find him, and bring him to us. We need his blood.

(four Inheritor scouts obey him, and move forward)

Female Inheritor: Why him?
Morlun: Sources tell he is the most powerful version of Spider-Man in the Multiverse. With his power, we will be unstoppable.

(but then, they hear the four scouts scream. Then, one of the scouts' head is sent flying to Morlun, and he and the rest of the Inheritors make it into an altar, only to find the scouts dead; one sliced in half, one impaled with his own claws, and one burned alive. They see the decapitated scout's body being thrown at them. In the light, they see Peter Parker / Spider-Man standing)

Peter Parker: Before you ask, yes. I knew you were coming. Just like you should've known you made a mistake coming here. And now... what's supposed to be another dinner room for you will now be your grave. I don't kill criminals. Human ones, at least. But there's nothing human about you Inheritors and other dimension killers like Kang the Conqueror, as far as I'm concerned.
Morlun: You were only lucky with these scouts. What makes you think you have what it takes to kill all of us?
Peter Parker: Why don't you come at me, and find out?
Brute Inheritor: As you wish.

(he lunges at Peter, but stops, and starts bleeding. We see him having been impaled by Peter with the sword Phoenix Talon. Then, Peter removes his sword from the Inheritor's chest)

Female Inheritor: What is this?!
Peter Parker: The one weapon that the Prime Eternal Thena forged out of the three most powerful metals and primordial fire from Olympus and Asgard eons ago. Phoenix Talon. This sword killed countless Symbiotes in this universe, including their maker Knull. And I became curious if it could kill vampires as well. And then... (the Brute Inheritor tries to attack him, but Peter impales him again, and burns him into ashes) well, I got my answer.
Female Inheritor: Morlun, this... this is beyond anything we have seen before in the Multiverse. I'm afraid we are no match for this power.
Morlun: Hush! We have not come here to lose. We have come to feast! ATTACK!!

(he and the Inheritors lunge at Peter, who kills them all one by one with Phoenix Talon. Next scene, most of the Inheritors are dead, with only the female, who is missing her legs, and Morlun, who is missing his right arm, remaining)

Peter Parker: (grabs the female Inheritor by her hair, and lifts her up) All this far for nothing. Must be this embarrassing for all of you, isn't it? (the female hisses) How about I enlighten you? (Phoenix Talon absorbs the dead Inheritors' blood, and converts it into kinetic energy which Peter channels into the female by impaling her head, causing a fiery explosion which destroys the place, and sends Morlun flying away. Scarred and burnt, Morlun watches the place in flames. Peter emerges from the flames unharmed, and crushes Morlun's dimension-travelling amulet with his foot) So, Morlun? Still want a peace of me? (Morlun teleports away) That's right. Run. Run away, and never come back. (then, Doctor Strange appears behind him, while taking notice of the wreckage) Before you say it, I know. I was reckless, wasn't I?
Doctor Strange: My answer is a yes and a no. Primarily, because this church was abandoned for very long. Just as I know that these vampires you've killed were not from this universe. Nor were they from any we know.
Peter Parker: You've seen these vampires before?
Doctor Strange: Yes. The Inheritors existed for one purpose: to hunt and kill powerful beings in the Multiverse for centuries. Like in this generation, heroes and villains with spider powers. Like you. Especially you, who they sought to kill first.
Peter Parker: And from what I heard, they said I was...
Doctor Strange: ...the most powerful Spider-Man in the Multiverse. Alas, they never considered awareness about you wielding Phoenix Talon. And thanks to you and their leader's incompetence, the Multiverse is safe. And Morlun is the last of the Inheritors. And our universe, is now a prison he cannot escape.
Peter Parker: And in about a few days or months if it has to happen... his grave.
