Plot: Billionaire industrialist, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), conducts weaponry tests overseas, but this backfires quickly after Tony is kidnapped by a terrorist organization known as the Ten Rings. After months of torment, Tony finds an escape plan after being prompted to build the organization a dangerous weapon to attack the United States with, Tony builds a suit of armor to escape his living hell. After returning to the US and reuniting with his secretary, Pepper (Gwyneth Paltrow), and his best friend, James Rhodes (Don Cheadle), Tony uses his suit of armor to dismantle the Ten Rings, as well as fight other evils that plague the world, quickly being known as the "Iron Man". When his rival company, Stane (Jeff Bridges), suspiciously runs secret operations with the Rings, Tony must protect the world from the Rings' danger as his newfound identity as a superhero...

After Credits: Tony comes home after having a night out with Rhodes. Tony sees that there is a shadowy figure in his living room, who asks Tony if he thinks he is the only superhero in the world. Tony questions this figure and the figure comes out and reveals himself as Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), director of S.H.I.E.L.D., a UN-affiliated government agency. Fury has come to talk to Tony about the "Avengers Initiative".

Banner, haunted by his past, is forced to come out of the shadows when the army releases a monster even worst than Banner in order to bring Banner in; little did they know that this monster would become an atrocity that will cause chaos to the world. Banner must use his instincts and his powers to stop this monster.

Meanwhile, the son of Anton Vanko (Yevgeni Lazarev), Ivan (Mickey Rourke), rises from the shadows and declares revenge on Stark after his father's death. The Stark family and the Vankos have a long history with Tony's father, Howard (John Slattery), wronging the Vankos in so many ways, including Anton. With this feud between Tony and Ivan, and an all-out war ensuing in the process, with Ivan attempting to destroy the Stark legacy, Tony must form new alliances to win this battle; including the likes of Rhodes and a former assassin known as the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson)...

After Credits: After debriefing Tony's new Mark 6, Coulson has driven to Mexico to investigate a disturbance under Fury's orders. When he gets there, he sees a large crowd of people gathering around an object SHIELD has been hunting down for months; Mjolnir. After Coulson (Clark Gregg) calls Fury, the screen cuts to black with a bolt of thunder...

The two become close friends and begin recruiting fellow mutants across the world to protect humanity, even if humanity is not in favor of mutants. However, Charles and Erik find themselves in the eyes of a dangerous man known as Sebastian Shaw (Kevin Bacon), who runs the Hellfire Club, a group run by social elite mutants who consider themselves superior to other mutants. The Hellfire Club starts a war with Charles and his group of mutants. The Hellfire Club is a mirror image of Charles and the X-Men must stop the Club before they start a world war. 

After Credits: In the present day, Charles (Giancarlo Esposito) is now a man in his late 50s and calls upon Hank (Joel Egerton), who is now in his mid-30s. Charles and Hank talk about a new home he has found in Westchester, New York. A place where Charles can build a school for mutants...

However, after a dispute between the Asgardians and the Frost Giants, the Frost Giants attack and Thor makes an extremely arrogant move by attacking Jotunheim. After doing so, Odin decides that Thor's arrogance and selfishness do not prove the worthiness of the throne and banishes Thor from his hammer and to planet Earth. There, Thor must rebuild himself and while his mischievous brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) uses Thor's absence to his advantage, Thor must return to Asgard to claim the throne and stop his brother...

Mid-Credits: Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) is recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. to be the head of the science division. Pym is shown the Tesseract by Fury, which is an ancient relic that was used by ancient civilizations and could be the key to unlimited sustainable energy. Loki appears in the shadows and smiles...

Post-Credits: After Laufey's (Colm Feore) death, Hogun (Tadanobu Asano) and Lady Sif (Jaime Alexander) talk about a potential civil war among the Nine Realms, as Laufey had a peace treaty with the Dark Elves. Rogers keeps the heart of the good man he was before the experiment and becomes the leader of the army, Captain America. Rogers and his company work on dismantling the evil Nazi-affiliated organization known as HYDRA and it's a leader who is a dark reflection of Captain America; the Red Skull (Hugo Weaving)...

After Credits: Steve wakes up, but he is in an ominous setting playing the baseball game he went to before the experiment, during the beginning of the film. Steve is greeted by a hotel worker, but quickly realizes he is being played when he remembers the baseball game. Steve is surrounded by multiple agents and attacks them, running out and seeing modern-day Manhattan; it is the year 2012. Nick Fury comes out of the car and multiple S.H.I.E.L.D. agents surround Steve; Fury reveals to Steve that he has been asleep for 70 years. Steve looks lost and Fury tries to settle him, but Steve replies with, "I had a date", referring to Peggy (Hayley Atwell)...

Fury assigns the team to fight the battle S.H.I.E.L.D. never could. The team works together to dismantle Loki, who uses the Tesseract to send an army known as Chitauri, who are from space, in order to succeed in his power-hungry goals. Will the team be able to put their differences aside and fight the Earth and very damn-well avenge it if they have to?

After Credits: The Other returns to space where he bows to his leader to inform him that Loki has failed and the Tesseract is again back in the hands of the humans. The leader angrily stands up and The Other, with fear running through his veins, bows down once more. The leader is the mad titan known as Thanos (Josh Brolin), one of the most powerful entities in the galaxy...

Xavier spends his spare time trying to find where Erik (Charles Dance) has gone, while Scott (Armie Hammer) and Jean (Evan Rachel Wood) both lead Bobby (Nick Robinson), Warren (Alex Pettyfer) and Hank in their battles to protect humanity, who still shuns mutants. Erik returns from the shadows and has formed the Brotherhood of Mutants, a group of mutants looking to tear humanity apart, as Erik believes that human beings do not deserve to live, as mutants have been shunned for too long. Charles and his X-Men fight the Brotherhood, as Charles believes that love and unity need to co-exist and even if the humans are not in favor of mutants, that does not mean humanity does not need protection...

Mid-Credits: During the X-Men and Brotherhood's battle in the Weapon X lab, several blood samples of the mutants have been dropped. Essex Corporation comes in to take the samples and walks out...

Post-Credits: Hank is visiting a cage bar in Canada where a mutant is fighting. The camera shows the hands of the mutant, who has an animal-like nature and can utilize claws that come out of his fists. The mutant is very violent and almost kills his opponent until the referee stops him. During the mutant's break, Hank confronts the mutant and asks him to join the X-Men, but the mutant is not interested and tells Hank to "fuck off". Hank does that and the mutant then says, "You're going down bub!"

Plot: Thor returns to Asgard to claim his place as King and imprisons his brother Loki for his destructive actions on Earth. Thor has managed to bring peace to the Nine Realms, with Jotunheim completely annihilated off the face of the Nine Realms, but Thor learns of an ancient relic known as the Aether, a powerful object in which the Dark Elves use to awaken their ruthless leader, Malekith the Accursed. Malekith invades the Nine Realms and brings war to every single realm, forcing Thor to travel across the galaxy to fight this violent war with the Dark Elves and all of Midgard.

Mid-Credits: After managing to sustain the Aether, Lady Sif and the Warriors Three bring the Aether to the Collector (Benicio del Toro).

Post-Credits: Loki's prone body lies where he bravely sacrificed himself and then a group of Skrulls pick up his body and destroy it and then the Skrulls leaving and one stays behind and transforms into Loki and announces to Asgard that he faked his death.

Tony spends most of his days building more than a dozen Iron Man suits and his alcohol addiction worsens, as his nightmares of New York become more violent. When Tony realizes that the Ten Rings have revealed their leader, the Hand (Tony Leung), a dangerous man with both earthly and extraterrestrial technology at his disposal. When the Hand destroys Tony's legacy with his suits, Tony is forced to travel to China, where the Hand resides in his Valley of Spirits, where the origins of the Ten Rings lies and where Tony's worst nightmares and demons reside.

After Credits: The Reality Stone, which was found in one of the Hand's Ten Rings, is collected by a figure, presumably Kree, who uses it to spot a point of interest someone gave him. The Reality Stone then shows mutants across the world...

Plot: With an agreement taken up with S.H.I.E.L.D., Bruce is able to reunite with Betty (Liv Tyler) and in the aftermath of the Battle of New York involving the Avengers and Loki, Bruce moves to Arizona. However, just when Bruce is enjoying a quiet life in Arizona, he receives a blackmail from an old friend; Samuel Stern (Tim Blake Nelson), who returns with blood on his hands. Stern manages to drop a nuke containing gamma radiation, poisoning a desert of Phoenix in gamma. Bruce is forced out of his peaceful life and must stop Stern, who proves to be very unpredictable and intelligent, from causing more mayhem and putting the work of evil on the hands of the Hulk...

After Credits: After the Red Hulk was unleashed to try and stop the Leader, who ended up being stopped by the Hulk, Ross is sitting in a press conference with the United Nations, as nobody suspects that Ross was actually the Red Hulk. All committees from all panels including the likes of England and Wakanda agree to put Ross on the panel and ask him if he has any secrets he would like to share before he officially becomes Secretary of Defense. Ross hesitates, but proceeds to say, "no".

Plot: After years of hiding, Dr. Hank Pym comes out of retirement only to learn he was forced out of his own company by former protégé Darren Cross (Corey Stoll) and learns Cross is trying to replicate his greatest creation: the Ant-Man suit. Pym recruits the talents of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), a master thief and ex-con just released from prison and has just learned his daughter has been met with terminal cancer. As a result, Lang becomes Ant-Man to try and find a cure. Trained by Pym and armed with a suit that allows him to shrink in size, possess superhuman strength and control an army of ants, and uses it against Cross, also known as the Yellowjacket, who has the ultimate cure to his daughter's disease.

After Credits: Hank shows Hope (Evangeline Lilly) that Wasp prototype suit he never gave to Janet (Catherine Zeta-Jones) before she died. Hope is happy and remarks, "It's about damn time..."

Plot: After the cataclysmic events that transpired in New York with his fellow Avengers, Steve Rogers moves to the nation's capital as he struggles to adjust to modern times. Steve works with S.H.I.E.L.D. and fellow Avenger, Black Widow, to dismantle oceanic cartels entering the United States. However, Black Widow compromises one of the missions and Nick Fury presents to Steve Project Insight, a project that projects multiple carriers to the skies and can detect threats before they even come; a project that has been bestowed upon the events of New York. When Fury is gunned down, Steve finds himself on the run with Black Widow and newfound ally, Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie). Steve finds out is corrupt and doesn't know who to trust. Steve cannot trust the government, which is what his values from World War 2 were built upon. Struggling to expose this ever-widening conspiracy, Steve comes face-to-face with someone he thought long dead.

After Credits: The shot shows the museum Steve was at previous and shows the many memorials of Steve with Bucky (Sebastian Stan) and his allies in World War 2. The camera zooms into Bucky, who is in disguise and remembers his past...

To evade Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with five disparate misfits: gun-toting Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), treelike-humanoid Groot (Vin Diesel), enigmatic Gamora (Zoe Saldana), by the book hero Nova (Chris Pine), and vengeance-driven Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista). But when he discovers the orb's true power and the cosmic threat it poses, Quill must rally his ragtag group to save the universe.

Mid-Credits: With the destruction caused by the Power Stone in the Collector's collection, Howard the Duck mocks a sad Collector by throwing a cup at him.

Post-Credits: Stan Lee, who is a messenger for the Watchers, tells the Watchers of the Universe stories of his adventures, but they do not seem to care. Stan tries his best to get their attention, but they seriously do not care.

Plot: The Avengers team up once more to take down Baron von Strucker upon H.Y.D.R.A. revealing themselves to the world post-Project Insight. Tony comes back with the Scepter and uses the Mind Stone and JARVIS to jumpstart his long-awaited Ultron AI, a peacemaking AI intended to help the Avengers in future battles. However, Ultron quickly turns on Tony and becomes a murderous and cold and calculating AI who intends to destroy humanity. As the blame is put on Tony and the Avengers go after Ultron, who continuously gets stronger every day, the Avengers begin breaking apart, with Ultron as the string-tier.

Mid-Credits: The Hulk is in space, fleeing from the world who hates him. However, the Hulk's ship then crashes in the midst of space and the Hulk falls into the planet of Sakaar...

Post-Credits: Thanos picks up the Infinity Gauntlet after many have failed with many of the Infinity Stones (including the likes of Loki, Ronan the Accuser, & the Hand) and tells himself that he will do it all himself now...

Desperate, Gambit went to Nathaniel Essex (Matthew Goode) for help. Essex modified Gambit's power by removing a portion of Gambit's brain stem, making him significantly less powerful, but able to control the still considerably large amount of power in him.

After Credits: With Essex now under Ramy's skin, Ramy realizes Essex is going to his next mission: the Mutant Massacre...

The Secretary of State introduces the Superhuman Accords, a signed paper that would regulate the activities of the Avengers, who would only act under government wishes. This status quo divides Steve and Tony; Steve does not trust the government after Project Insight and H.Y.D.R.A. and believes the Accords would strip the freedom of the rest of the Avengers. Tony disagrees and after his mistakes in the past, supports oversight. As the debate escalates into an all-out feud and the other Avengers are forced to pick a side, former friends battle it out.

Mid-Credits: Steve, T'Challa, and Bucky all come to a mutual agreement; the Wakandan scientists put Bucky in a frozen sleep to erase all of his memories with H.Y.D.R.A. to start a clean slate. Steve looks out to the skyline of the beautiful kingdom of Wakanda. Steve truthfully thanks T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) for helping out. United States colonel William Stryker is tasked with leading a covert team of guerrillas entirely composed of mutants, which he begrudgingly accepts despite his personal bias. His ranks include brothers Logan and Victor Howlett (Alexander Skarsgård), mercenaries David North (Daniel Henney), and Wade Wilson (Rob Corddry), and a woman with self-proclaimed “good luck powers” named Domino (Vanessa Hudgens). They all blast off for outer space and land in “the Negative Zone” and when they escape from it, they have gained superpowers as well as have been flung 50 years into the future. Soon after, a local publicist named Alicia Masters (Kerry Washington) offers a business deal with the Fantastic Four to ensure it's established that they're good guys. They take down low-level criminals that are suspiciously easy for the group to take down while being slowly manipulated.

Mid-Credits: Inside a Latverian castle, two of a small army of henchmen monitoring a wall of global news when something comes across the feed that causes both of them to turn white with fear. They go back and forth debating who will deal with it until one reluctantly takes care of it. Terrified, the henchmen carry a tablet to a shadowy figure reclines alone on a dark throne. Shaking in paralyzing fear, the poor henchmen approach the throne, slowly turning the tablet around, revealing a news report of the miraculous return of Reed Richards and his missing spaceship to New York City. the figure on the throne's eyes begin to glow, causing the tablet to catch fire in the henchmen's hands. He flees for his life as a single metal glove fist slams down on the throne. Finally, Doctor Doom (Matt Sloan) raises his fists to the sky, he throws back his head as he shouts, "RICHARDS!'

The four are running a project for Scott to enter the miniaturized Quantum Realm to collect quantum parts to heal Cannon, who is in custody at the Raft supermax prison. Scott enters the realm and quickly collects quantum parts. Hope counts down (from 4) to get Scott out of the Quantum Realm. However, Hope's mic cuts off and no one is talking. Scott plays this as a joke and then tells them to seriously get him back out from the realm, as it is very dangerous to stay down there that long. The camera zooms to the four and all four of them have disintegrated into dust. Scott is left confused, but scared when he realizes that he is trapped in the Quantum Realm...

Post-Credits: The camera shows a skyline of San Francisco. The streets are empty and everything is quiet. The camera then zooms in the inside of Scott's house. He tried to crack them but the nanites simply self-destructed. Plot: Right after House of M, Logan travels to Russia to tie up a loose end; Stryker was sending Weapon X notes and research to an anonymous user in Russia; Logan does not want any innocent people turning into a monster just like him, so he travels there to prevent any monsters from being created. During his travel, Logan notices a regime rising in Russia; a violent man has been executed after raping several young girls, which Logan applauds. Little does Logan know, the regime has taken the violent man in to resurrect him and turn him into a deadly weapon known as Omega Red; the regime is who Logan is looking for. With Omega Red posing a massive threat, as Omega Red is pure evil and ruthless, Logan must come face-to-face with his worst enemy yet, whilst stopping the regime and all the innocent lives they have holed up in their facility. Plot: The conflicting stories of Marvel and DC are explained as a multiverse, containing many parallel universes and alternate versions of the characters, with the primary DC continuity, referred to as Earth-1 and the primary Marvel continuity referred to as Earth-16. A cosmic being from the beginning of time known as the Silver Surfer (Billy Crudup) from Zenn-La 96 catalogs these realities, but he is accompanied by Galactus (Brian Thompson), who he recruited to be his herald to find planets for him to devour until one day, Galactus discovered the multiverse and plans on devouring the entire multiverse. To combat this, the Silver Surfer recruits heroes and villains from across time and space to set up five towers, to help merge the multiverse back into one to make it stronger.

After Credits: We cut to Nova's corpse and we see that he called the Spectre (Michael C. Hall).

Plot: During a lull in the war, the villains unite under Brainiac (James Marsters), who kills Earth-91 Lex Luthor (Christopher Walken) while recruiting the Earth-1 Lex (Jon Cryer) to conquer the remaining Earths. Galactus meanwhile creates a new body for himself and tries to use an antimatter cannon to penetrate the limbo universe and destroy the five partially merged Earths. The Earth-1 Flash (Grant Gustin) dies stopping this attempt. A furious Galactus absorbs the energy of millions of worlds and vows to travel back through time to prevent the creation of the multiverse. The Spectre unites the heroes and villains by warning them about Galactus's plan; the heroes travel back in time to stop Galactus, while the villains travel back in time to the ancient planet Taa to prevent renegade scientist High Evolutionary (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) from creating the technology necessary for Galactus's plan to succeed.

After Credits: Galactus brutally kills Earth-31 Brainiac, Earth-1 Lex Luthor, and Earth-16 Doctor Doom and states "Three down, three to go."
