- (The trailer starts with a show of New York citizens walking peacefully until hordes of aliens emerge and begin to attack the streets of the city. A mother and her two children are saved by Captain America, who uses his shield to block an alien's shot, and Batman, who takes down the alien with two explosive Batarangs. Then, we see the Avengers and the Justice League fighting more aliens off)
- Narrator: (voiced by Dave B. Mitchell) And there came a day... a day unlike any other, when two universes collided with one another. And their mightiest and greatest heroes found themselves united against a common threat. On that day, they became an alliance of stars! The mighty Avengers... and the noble Justice League. All together. And together and ready to save the universe... (scene shifts to a bunch of supervillains from both universes fighting each other) from a turf war between their sworn enemies. (a shadowed figure resembling both Thanos and Darkseid is shown in the sky) And a two-faced evil who longs to bring about incoming doom! (the battle continues; the Teen Titans and the New Warriors end up facing a Paratauri. Just then, a dimensional portal begins to open behind them) And still, from another far distant universe... (the Rookie Hero emerges from the fully open portal, smiling at the young heroes, who smile back at him/her and greet him/her) ... a new young hero rises to make a difference in the two universes. (the Rookie battles and defeats the Paratauri, and resumes to battle the aliens while changing to several forms and attributes. Trailer ends with the Rookie performing a Thunderclap, which spreads light everywhere. It cuts to the game's title being presented)
