Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted

Madagascar: Circus Zaragoza is an American computer-animated miniseries centering around the Zoosters' new life with Circus Zaragoza after Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (2012), chronicling the Zoosters' adventures with their new friends and how their new lives working as circus animals are like.

Cast[]

Development[]

The idea was thought up by Xavier Shaquille, a fan of the Madagascar franchise, who was interested in giving the main characters of the main film trilogy an epilogue of how their lives are now since they had joined Circus Zaragoza. He had the idea since August 2020.

Casting[]

The series cast consists of Crispin Freeman, Stephen Stanton, Bethany Bush, and Danny Jacobs reprise their roles from the video games and other media, along with Andy Richer, Tom McGrath, Chris Miller, Christopher Knights and Conrad Vernon reprising their roles from the main films. Keith Leak Jr. was chosen as the voice of Marty, after watching and listening to Leak impersonate Chris Rock in a parodic audition of Smosh: The Movie, while Cedric Yarbrough was cast as Maurice for how his voice matches Cedric the Entertainer's vocal range. Ashley Johnson and Ed O'Ross were cast as Gia and Vitaly.

Animation[]

The series' animation will be provided by Bardel Entertainment, who has collaborated with DWATV on its last Madagascar series All Hail King Julien (2014-2017).
