Little Mole The Movie: When the Forest Takes Down is a 2011 American animated musical family fantasy film based on the Czech animated cartoon by Zdeněk Miler. It was directed by Matthew O'Callaghan. Ron Howard, David Kirschner, and John Shapiro produced. It was released on April 1, 2011 by Universal Pictures. Featuring the voice of Tara Strong, Steve Carell, Will Smith, Jeff Bergman, Lara Jill Miller and Jim Cummings.

Right after the 2004 film and its sequels by Columbia Pictures and Imagine Entertainment. Universal announced for the first film in 2011 after the continuing creation between the years from 2009-2010 which is filmed at the studio in the following of the 2009 Traditional animated film Little Mole and the Bears by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies. It all started with the adventures of the mole dedicated to the creator’s artwork.
