Lake Carnage: A Lake Placid Story is a 2025 American action comedy horror film and a direct sequel to 1999's Lake Placid ignoring the sequels despite them being made for television. Directed by Scott Mann and Written by Jon & Erich Hoeber. The Film will star Dave Bautista, Yang Yang, Elizabeth Lail, Ariana Greenblatt, Jovan Adepo, Cara Gee, Jacki Weaver, Ellie Bamber with Donal Logue and Bill Pullman. The film is also dedicated to Betty White who died in December 31, 2021.

Ideal Premise[]

The crocodile from the first film in 1999 now escaped and causing a flat-bed truck to crash after an unknown mutation. In present day Det. Lucas Wells is on the case of crocodiles loose in Aroostook County, Maine, to stop them he has to contact a lost member of the Bickerman family "Linda" but he reunites with his estranged father "Jack Wells" who is now a retired Fish and Game officer. While they're on their case Lucas finds out they all have a "Big" Situation.

  • Dave Bautista as Det. Lucas Wells, a police detective who is on the case of the crocodiles.
  • Yang Yang as Shang, a chinese boy who joins Lucas on his journey against the crocodiles.
  • Elizabeth Lail as Lena Wells, Lucus's ex-wife.
  • Ariana Greenblatt as Hannah Wells, Lucas and Lena's daughter and Jack's granddaughter.
  • Jovan Adepo as Marvin, a Friend of Lucas'.
  • Cara Gee as Marta Evers, a Friend of Lucas'.
  • Jacki Weaver as Linda Bickerman, an estranged member of the Bickerman family who is responsible for the loose and mutated crocodiles which all the Bickermans are always been responsible for. Until Dan framed her and is desperate to clear her name because of it.
  • Ellie Bamber as Shelly, a young woman who's actually secretly working with Dan for the chaos while aiding Lucas.
  • Donal Logue as Capt. Dan Keough, a police captain and Hank Keough's son. Who is Lucas' boss, Dan is also secretly the main antagonist and is responsible for the loose crocodiles framing Linda in the process. Dan also mentioned that he thinks his father Hank is weak and can't do nothing but do the right thing while Dan wanted more.
  • Bill Pullman as Jack Wells, a former Fish and Game officer and Lucas's estranged father. Pullman reprises the role from the first movie.
  • Sam Jay as Quisha, Marvin's Lesbian sister.
  • Yancy Butler as Reba, a former hunting guide who has history with crocodiles. Butler reprises the role from the sequels 3-5.
  • Dalmar Abuzeid as Deputy Ian Parks, Lucas' partner who is actually a mole for Dan.

  • Dogbone Entertainment is a company owned by Dave Bautista.
  • Ellie, Donal and Dalmar's characters all die in a very gorier way by getting eaten by crocodiles or worse.
