La Tigresa is a upcoming animated superhero television series created by Radford Sechrist and developed by Jorge R. Gutierrez, the show is a reimagining of "El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera". The series is produced by Nickelodeon.

The reboot makes some major changes from the original, such as the male and female characters getting their genders changed.

Synopsis[]

Taking place in the dangerous town of "Miracle City" a place infected with destruction, crime and villainy across the streets. The series follows Manuela Rivera, a young girl with a huge fascination of comicbooks who's life turns around when she finds a mystical belt that let's her transform into the powerful, La Tigresa.

With the help of her peers Manuela adventures herself into her new lifestyle, whenever helping her mom White Pantera fightning criminals or helping her grandmother Puma Loca robbing banks, while also trying to figure out if she wants to use her new found powers for good or evil.

  • The Riveras: A long line family of feline-themed superheroes and villains:
    • Manuela Rivera/La Tigresa (voiced by Sarah-Nicole Robles): A young girl with a optimistic, charismatic, excitable and mischiveous personality who after finding a magical belt belonging to her family, she becomes the antiheroic vigilante "La Tigresa". While she enjoys helping her mother in keeping the city safe from evil, she loves hanging out with her grandmother in doing crimes. Which leads to Manuela having trouble deciding which side to choose from.
    • Ramona Rivera/White Pantera (voiced by Stephanie Beatriz): Manuela's doting-yet-overprotective mother who is also the town heroic and noble superheroe, White Pantera. Ramona cares for her daughter safety and tries to train her to use her power for good, althought she becomes worries if this is what's Manuela wants.
    • Juliana "Grandmami" Rivera/Puma Loca (voiced by Alanna Ubach): Manuela crancky and tough grandmother who is also the legendary supervillain and crimelord, "Puma Loca". After returning from retirement, she becomes a mentor to her granddaughter on how to become a villain. While a villain, she deeply loves her family above anything else in life.
  • Frida Suarez/Plata Peligrosa (voiced by Vicci Martinez): Manuela best friend who is a tomboyish and wild teenager with dreams of becoming a famous rock star guitarist. She eventually becomes a superheroine like her friend after she finds the magical Plata Glove, eventually the powerful "Plata Peligrosa".

Supporting[]

  • The First El Tigre (voiced by Eric Bauza): The first Rivera who was the original user of the belt who became insane after he couldn't decided which path to choose from. He later returns as a ghost to help Manuela not go into the same fate he went through in the past.
  • Mario Rivera (voiced by Oscar Isaac): Manuela caring and calm father who was formerly a supervillain by the name of "Plata Peligroso" who used a mystical glove to gain powers, but he then reformed and became the loving husband of Ramona.
    • Glove: A sentient glove who gives mystical powers to those who used him and is currently being used by Frida
  • Davi Roccoco/Albino Burrito (voiced by Anthony Gonzalez): One of Manuela classmates who is a huge comicbook fan and wishes to become a real superheroe like the real ones. He eventually learns of Manuela being a superheroe, so he decides to become her honorary sidekick to help her fight crime.
  • Celia Puente (voiced by Kimberly Brooks): One of Manuela's friends and one of the popular kids in school due to her impressive singsing skills. She knows Manuela's secret identity but kepts it a secret from others.
  • Toshiro Watanabe/ Cyber-Sumo (voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch): A exchange student from Japan and the son of the heroic Seventh Samurai. He uses a giant robot suit to do heroic deeds.
  • Raul the Mustache: A genetically-mutant sentient mustache that befriends Manuela.
  • Chief Emilio Suárez (voiced by Bernardo De Paula): The serious chief of Miracle City Police Department and Frida's father.
  • Sophia Biff (voiced by Marieve Herington): Frida's loud mouthed classmate who is the granddaughter of a dangerous mob boss in the city and also has a sentient eyebrow.
    • Browsia: Sophia's sentient eyebrow who is Raul's love interest.
  • Carmen Rivera/ Kumbala (voiced by Anairis Quiñones): Manuela's cousin who wields a magical guitar that she uses to fight crime.

Antagonist[]

  • The Flock of Fury: A trio of bird-themed supervillains who are also the archnemesis of the Riveras:
    • Zoilo Avez/Black Cuervo (voiced by Michael Cimino): A rebellious and street-smart punk boy who's the new student in Manuela's school, but he's secretly the dastardly supervillain, Black Cuervo. Even thought he likes being a villain, Zack is actually very insecure of himself who just wants to make his family proud and embrace their supervillain tradition. He first started out as Manuela's rival in but school and in their alteregos, but overtime they get to known eachother better and becomes friends, later on having feelings for the other.
    • Carlos Avez/El Volturo (voiced by Diego Luna): Zack's serious father who works as the new art teacher at his son school, but is secretly the nefarious supervillain and second-in-command of the team, Volturo. While ruthless and cunning, Carlos does care about his son, Zoilo and has a hard time raising him as a single father. He used to be the childhood friend of White Pantera before becoming a criminal.
    • Pablo "Grandpapi" Avez/ Mister Gobbler (voiced by Benjamin Bratt): Zack old and grumpy grandfather who is the owner of a bird shop, who is also the wicked leader of the Flock of Fury, Mister Gobbler and is also one of the most dangerous mob boss in the criminal underworld.
  • Diego Jr/ Dr. Chipotle Jr (voiced by Harvey Guillen): A evil teenage mad scientist who uses his scientific knowledge to created giant monsters made out of food. He was the son of the obscure villain, Dr. Chipotle Sr who was defeated by White Pantera and because of this, Diego holds against the Riveras and sees Manuela as his archnemesis. Even thought she always keeps mispronouncing his name.
    • Guacamole Monster: Dr. Chipotle Jr's minion who is a giant guacamole monster, but she isnt't very bright and always eats herself.
  • Sergio/Señor Siniestro (voiced by Benjamin Diskin): A ruthless cowboy-themed supervillain who in reality is a elementary school kid who wishes to get revenge on those who bullied him.
  • El Mal Verde (voiced by Ike Amadi): A monstrous and inmoral gangster who organizes illegal crime activies in Miracle City and sees the Riveras as a disturbance in his plans. He later mutates himself into a giant monster to finally get rid of them.
  • El Oso (voiced by Fred Tatasciore): A strong but dumb criminal who mutated himself into a bear-like monster in order to enhanced his own strenght.
  • El Cucharon (voiced by Tru Valentino): A nerveous supervillain who is mocked and laugh at by everybody in the city, due to his ridiculous power in controling spoons.
  • Chantal "Che" Chepuza/La Tigresa Muerta (voiced by Lara Jill Miller): The zombie granddaughter of General Chepuza who wields a mystical belt similiar to Manuela, but she used to commit crime and frame her.
  • Tito/The Titanium Titan (voiced by Jorge R. Gutiérrez): Ramona's ex-boyfriend who was once a famous superheroe in the past known for poweful robotic arms. Howerer, it was soon discovered that the Titan started to abuse his status as a hero and inflict brutal methods against crime and even those who weren't even criminal that he was fired because of it. He later became insane and became a vengeful supervillain who wants revenge on those who ruined him.
  • Sartan of the Dead (voiced by Antonio Banderas): The most powerful, dangerous and infamous supervillain known of Miracle City who was thought to have been defeated years ago, Sartan has returned from his defeat and plans to continue his plans in summoning a army of the dead that could help him finally overthrow the city and destroy his enemies. He is later revealed to be the grandfather of La Tigresa.
    • El Machete (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson): The son of Sartan of the Dead who is helping in is father plans in taking over the city, but secrelty plans on betraying him and take over Miracle City for himself
    • Django of the Dead (voiced by Adam McArthur): The evil grandson of Sartan of the Dead who has inherit some of his grandfather power and wants to manipulate Manuela in helping with Sartan plans.
  • Cactus Kid (voiced by Frank Todaro): A mutant cactus-like creature who indulges himself into a criminal lifestyle because is a big fan of supervillains.
  • Prince Mikla (voiced by Dante Basco): A undead inca warrior who was defeat and imprison by the First El Tigre manny centurias ago, but escaped and seeks revenge against the latter bloodline.
  • Lowrider Louie (voiced by John DiMaggio): A crook who got into a terrible accident and had to get into a deadly operation to survived. Now as a cyborg-like supervillain (made out of parts of a vehicle), Louie is now a more better version of his former self.
  • Cha Cha Chiquita (voiced by Grey Griffin): A once popular dancer who into a tragic accident that destroyed her entire body that cost her reputation and was forgotten in the procress. Now wielding a robot body that kepts her alive, Chiquita will do anything to become famous again. Even if she has to become a villain to do it.
  • Lady Lava (voiced by Niccole Thurman): A woman who had trouble getting money and accepted to be a test subject for Mal Verde's experiment in order to get some cash. In the process, she gained pyrokinetic powers and became a fire-themed supervillain.
  • The Aristocrat (voiced by Christine Auten): A skilled-thief whose all themed is based on the renaissance era.
