~ Knull |
Knull is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with Venom and Carnage, and later retroactively established as an unseen enemy of Thor and the Silver Surfer, as he was behind Gorr the God Butcher's mission to hunt down and kill various deities, in addition to having come into conflict with the Silver Surfer via a temporal black hole through time. The character is depicted as an evil deity who created the weapon known as All-Black the Necrosword and the alien races known as the Klyntar/Symbiotes and Exolons. The character would go on to play a more important role in the Marvel Universe.
Knull has been described as one of Marvel's most notable and powerful supervillains.
Knull made his cinematic debut in the Sony's Spider-Man Universe film Venom: The Last Dance, portrayed by Andy Serkis.

- Knull appears in the Disney+ animated miniseries Marvel's All-Star Multiverse, voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson. He is first seen in flashbacks of the Symbiotes' origins, on which he used the four original Symbiotes to help him defeat the Celestials who opposed him, until Knull rendered the Symbiotes useless, and abandoned them. For an unknown point of time, he fought the Asgardians, and was killed by Odin and Thor. Knull later appears as a spirit throughout the series, and is one of the Dark Lords whose spirits are summoned by Thane, and urge him to destroy the Skycruiser Commandos and the "Destined Ones" to bring darkness to the Multiverse. In the final episode "One Universe, One Realm", Knull's corpse appears as a revenant summoned by Thane to fight the heroes in the final battle on Titan, before the revenant is destroyed by Spider-Man and Mary Jane Watson / Tigra. Thane's summoning of the revenant Knull is what causes the Symbiote Sisters to defect against him and Riot.
- Knull is the main antagonist in the third and final season of Marvel: All New, All Different Chronicles, voiced by Tony Todd.
- Knull is referenced in Marvel Superhero Adventures: Intergalactic Grand Prix. His weapon the Necrosword is shown to have been obtained by Sauron, who uses it to take control of Venom and Carnage. Sauron, however, is defeated by Spider-Man and Kid Arachnid, with the former destroying the Necrosword with a fragment of the Silver Surfer's surfboard.
- An amalgamation of Knull (dubbed Ultra-Void) appears as the main antagonist of Sonic and Marvel Superheroes: Multiverse Speedstorm, voiced by Sean Schemmel. The character is an amalgam of Knull with Black Doom.

- Knull appears in one of Emman's very own ideas for the future of the entire Kingdom Hearts series itself as a whole in which, he is one of the following Bosses that can be really fought (and one of them would even have him as a Secret Boss or a Final Boss to fight in person too), although he would later get promoted to being a Playable Villainous Fighter for the events of Disney vs. Capcom: Warriors of Weirdmageddon where he would be voiced by Takehito Koyasu and Patrick Seitz in Japanese and English as according to Emman, he intended his voices within the Japanese and English Languages to sound like Dio, complete with him sharing his Voice Actors in both of the following Languages.
