Kitty Kult[]

Kitty Kult is a virtual band. Led by the Nekomancer. Along with her best friends/bandmates Nergal, Marceline, Nergal Jr and Princess Bubblegum. Together they channel dark thoughts and feelings such as pain and turn them to songs. With the power of their mewsic, they can conquer any obstacle from monsters to haunted houses. They also double as a Mystery Gang-esque team of supernatural investigators. Solving spooky mysteries from ghost spotting to murder mysteries.

Musical Styles[]

They often go on stage pretending to be a cat-worshipping cult, hence the band name. Their live performances often involve them doing stuff like making entrances by emerging from coffins, casting pseudo black magic and performing feats with sharp stuff.

They often tend to sing about cats and adorable/creepy animals, kawaii stuff, horror, real-world problems, the undead, and the occult.

Their songs come in a roulette of genres; such as Pop Punk, Hardcore Punk, Blues Rock, Hard Rock, Kawaii Metal, Death Metal, Gothic Metal, Black Metal, Thrash Metal, Emo, Indie Rock and Folk Rock.

They can play sad sounding songs with happy lyrics, happy sounding songs with sad lyrics, or genuinely cheerful or genuinely dark songs.

Kultists (Who Plays What)[]

Nekomancer (Lead vocals, rhythm/lead guitar, keyboard)[]

The lead singer and frontwoman of Kitty Kult. She's a kindly, hyperactive overly-optimistic, undead catgirl. She's the happiest goth in the world. It is her job to vanquish despair. Her motto: "Find the best in every worst". She tries to put the motto to good use to make the best out of any depressing situation. She loves to have fun with her besties, eat junk food, sleep, party and give hugs.

She has an extreme fondness for animals, especially cats. She also has a timid pet black cat named Nico. She specializes in a feline version of necromancy called Nekomancy, a spell capable of either resurrecting any dead animal or draining the life out of cruel people.

Her "pawsitive cat-itude" allows her to be unafraid of most horrific stuff, reacting to it with either childish awe or laughter. She also tries to make nice with the monsters, causing some of them to repay her for her act of kindness. She is also born without stage fright, she cannot perform without at least one person watching because that would just be practicing.

She used to be a normal rockstar, until a stage accident almost took her life. She was experimented and given cat like genetics and 9 hearts placed in different parts of her body, making her a Nekomancer. Parts of her body tend to detach when under extreme excitement, luckily she feels no pain.

Nergal (Lead guitar, rhythm guitar, acoustic guitar, mandolin, violin, backing vocals)[]

The lead guitarist and powerhouse of Kitty Kult. A loving father who serves as a patriarch to the team, cooking their meals and worrying about their safety. He's the most emotional of the band, meaning he revels in his drama and tends to overreact over things like forgetting to give his son a hug or losing a board game. He also serves as the band's misfortune magnet.

This Mesopotamian god has had quite a history with metal. He was the frontman of the first ever black metal band, but a plague killed his bandmates and Nergal was banished to the center of Earth. He used to spend centuries of isolation at the center of the earth before starting a family.

His tentacles can be used for multitasking, from tentacle combat to carrying heavy objects to just strumming the strings, he can excel any instrument just by using his tentacles. He channels his loneliness into wicked guitar solos, (with red electricity for added bonus) and makes the earth shake with his death voice.

Despite being fatherly and polite, he has a bit of an aggressive streak when in "paternal instinct mode". He loves his son Nergal Jr so much that whenever he's attacked or threatened, Nergal flies into violent rage just to keep his little boy safe. His bandmates have to restrain him from flying off the handle at times so he doesn't cause mass destruction.

His stage name is "King of the Underworld"

Marceline (Bass, double bass, acoustic guitar, backing vocals)[]

The bassist and big sister of Kitty Kult. She serves a big sister to Nergal Junior and Nekomancer, always wanting them to get in some mischief, yet always looking after them. She also is in charge of the merch designs.

This vampire is the queen of all vampires. Living the Nightosphere, this rebel girl loves to drink red (not blood, don't worry) and be super cool. She isn't fond of authority figures, as she sees them as makers of lame rules. She does like the free-spirited Nekomancer allowing her to play whatever the heck she wants at band practice. Her girlfriend is Princess Bubblegum.

When something overwhelms or frustrates her, for example; someone ate her fries again. she'll channel those complex emotions of hers via bass playing. She is one with the bats and can even turn herself into a giant hulking bat monster.

Nergal Junior (Drums, drum machine, percussion, brass, backup vocals)[]

The drummer and token mini-Moe of Kitty Kult. This creepy but adorable little boy is a shapeshifting prodigy, who can change his shape to deceive anyone. He can show his true form to whoever provokes him, scaring the hell out of whoever did so. He serves as the band's lyricist; whatever Nergal has to say about his day, Junior writes it down as lyrics. That scary child is one clever songwriter.

He is the band's snarker and always has something humorously sardonic to say. He has a dark sense of humor and likes to play twisted tricks on those who deserve it. Despite his apathetic cold demeanor, he's easily lonely and bored and wants to make friends despite having the same lack of social skills as his dad. Being constantly picked on at school, he finds solace in gothic hobbies like writing dark poetry and Hot topic visits.

He uses his tentacles to play drums, the bigger the drumset, the more tentacles he can put to good use. He can also play multiple instruments at the same time using just his tentacles. He has a soft high-pitched singing voice that he's been showcasing even before he hatched from his egg. When he and his father sing together, it's a harmony that cannot be silenced.

His stage name is "The lonely prince of darkness"

Bonnibell Bubblegum (Keyboard, Synths, Organ, rhythm guitar, samples, turntables, percussion, brass, strings, backup vocals)[]

The keyboardist and manager of Kitty Kult. She also works as a roadie and a special effects whiz when not playing with the band. She has the most variety of instruments to play.

She is an aspiring scientist with a dedication to discoveries. (She's like a feminist but about science) Her girlfriend is Marceline. She serves a maternal figure to the band, offering encouragement before shows and knitting pink sweaters.

She has learned how to save herself from princess kidnappers and is now happy to be an independent princess. She can also act as a straight man to the other eccentric kultists, warning them not to get into any trickery or danger.

Nico[]

Nekomancer's shy pet black cat. She can be quite the coward and tends to hide from things that startle her, but she's a helpful animal who's always there to detect anything that might put the band in danger. She is sweet and loves to curl up to her owner Neko.
