10 plagues of Egypt

My name is Kimberly Jordan and I'm simply known as Kimberly AJ. This project is all about the tasty rations that represent the 10 Egyptian Plagues from the Exodus in the bible's Old Testament.

Plague 1: Blood[]

One snowy winter in the sunny afternoon, I got to the kitchen inside my family house and made this drink with hot water and Kool-Aid fruit punch mix. And I had a mug of water microwaved in about a minute. Then, I put the juice mix in and stirred these ingredients together. With my parents’ camera, I took this picture of hot fruit punch that simulates blood. It’s a perfect drink for those who feel cold externally.

Plague 2: Frogs[]

I first saw these gummy frogs when I went to La Plata’s ice cream/frozen yogurt parlor called Sweet Frog last 5 years after my Spring Dell team and I went to the farm one raging sun afternoon. When I made my own chocolate ice cream in there, I took a few of these frogs as a nifty topping along with my other selections I can’t resist. Each candy frog has an “A” engraved on its head/neck. So much for the ace when the frogs swarm on.

Plague 3: Gnats/Fleas[]

When I went to the D.C. National Air & Space Museum to watch Journey To Space in 3D with Ms. Darche and her sister, I asked the condiment seller for a box of Buncha Crunch bites which I opened and seem small enough they can simulate gnats or fleas. And when I was watching the screen that was playing the program, I ate these tasty treats and drank my water back and forth. After finishing the whole box, I saw the rest.

Plague 4: Wild Beasts/Flies[]

Some bible translators assumed it was only wild beasts and some assumed it was only wild flies, but I say it could be both. Just before December began, I planned to bake the differently-shaped wild beast cookies with pretty colorful butterfly sprinkles on top of them courtesy of my daddy with the old cookbook. Each night after dinner, I ate one cookie until the container is empty for different shapes to come.

Plague 5: Pestilence on Livestock[]
