Kelce Rivera is a major supporting character in Skylar and the Hunters. Formerly an antagonist, Kelce was the definition of a mean girl. She liked making fun of her step-sister, Skylar every chance she got, talked bad about other students and teachers, and showed signs of obsession towards her former crush, Aeron King. While people originally stayed in the dark about her bully nature, Aeron uploaded a video revealing her badmouthing all the students at Michelle Watson Academy, as well as one of her and the Neat Names bullying Skylar, exposing the truth to everyone.

While Kelce doesn't discover the secret of monsters at first, in "Watch Your Step, Sister," she learns the truth after being attacked by changelings. In "Kelce's Lament," she finally realizes her bully ways, uploads an apology video for all of Michelle Watson Academy, and offers to help the Hunters.

Personality[]

Originally, Kelce was a self-absorbed, vain, mean-spirited girl. She liked to make fun of people she felt were beneath her. She disguised this part of herself and pretended to be a sweet girl, something she pulled off well due to her acting prowess. After her true self was exposed, though, she did everything she could to be popular again, to no success. She was also obsessive, as she was willing to catfish the man of her dreams, Aeron, as the girl of his dreams, Leah. Most of her negative traits came from her father, Bud, who emotionally and mentally abused her.

Thankfully, she drops most of her negative qualities following her redemption, though her vanity and selfishness do remain, with the latter to a lesser extent. Even prior to her redemption, she did have a little heart, as she was genuinely nice towards her best friends, Viera, Cloey, and Hanneh.

Appearance[]

Kelce is a Spanish American girl. She has tan skin, black hair tied up in double braids, and hazelnut eyes.

She wears a pastel yellow wool short-sleeved shirt over a hot pink striped shirt, a brown belt with a gold buckle, denim shorts, pink heels to match her undershirt, magenta braid holders, and a pastel yellow bead bracelet.
