Bradly Davis, better known under his alter ego Kage the Lizard King, is the main antagonist of the animated adventure film The Darcy Triplets Origin, the first installment of The Darcy Triplets Storiverse. He is Cillian and Lorcan's arch-nemesis and Lilly Darcy's ex-boyfriend who happens to be an unstable stalker who was jealous of Lilly's relationship with her brothers and her new friends.
He is voiced by Remy Hii in his human form, as the Lizard King, he is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson who also played Lester Krinklesac in The Cleveland Show, and Captain Gantu in the Lilo & Stitch franchise by Disney.
Personality[]
Judging by his actions throughout the film, Bradly can be seen as an obsessive, aggressive, stubborn, narcissistic, impatient and unstable individual with little tolerance for frustration or rejection. He seems to feel entitled to the attention of those around him that he believes he cares about, as is evident by his interactions with Lilly.
In the beginning of the film, Bradly's personality was somewhat unclear. His romantic feelings towards Lilly are evident from the beginning by his many texts and he even asks her out on a date.
From his words, it seems that he is a kind individual, although he is one of the people who suspects Lilly's being a lesbian and plans to send her to Purity Village, a gay conversion therapy centre.
Unlike Lilly, he seems to have a hard time saying what he actually feels. When Lilly talks to him about the reason she wants to go to the viewing of The Tempest, he unconvincingly agrees that he was thinking that too, not telling her that he was thinking of it as a date. Her texts and interactions with him clearly show she doesn't reciprocate his feelings.
In Act 2 of the film, On the surface, Bradly appears to be a trustworthy, handsome guy who cares for Lilly, but his "nice guy" image is just a cover to hide his lust for Lilly when he threatened Cillian and Lorcan to stay away from her, as evidenced in Act 3 when he follows the Triplets to their father's house, confronts them and doesn't let them leave, demanding an explanation for what Lilly is doing there.
When Lilly is forced to confront him on this, he drops all kindness he had and starts threatening her. He snaps when Lilly takes an interest in girls, using his concern for Lilly's safety to mask his jealousy and even going as far as to shove Chloe if she tries to walk past him, smash objects out of impatience and/or hug Lilly against her will.
