Josie Test is upcoming American flash animated streaming television series produced by Frederator Studios, Jack Mackie Pictures, and Warner Bros. Animation, it will be created Scott Fellows and Fernanda Frick, it is loosely based on Fellows' 2005-2014 series Johnny Test with Fellows and Daniela Hamilton as developers,

The series was originally set to stream on Netflix, but was later moved to HBO Max.

Premise[]

14-year-old gung-ho,courageous tomboy Josie Test, her brainiac twin brothers, Oscar and Felix use her as their guinea pig for their outrageous scientific experiments, her best friend is a genetically engineered super dog, Dukey don't just navigate their way through their life in PottyBell but also go on insane adventures fighting bad guys, not having to work, school work, or problems she or her brothers started.

Production[]

Netflix and Frederator teamed up to remake Johnny Test featuring gender and race switch with characters from that series set to appear, Fellows will executive produce with Daniela Hamilton as showrunner, as of 2022 given the lay off the series was moved to HBO Max and WB Animation (who produced the original series) will co finance and produce.

Animation[]

Animation services will be outsourced to Saerom Animation and Yowza! Animation, the series will be featured in the same animation style as the original series as homage.

Music[]

Chrome Canyon will score the series, Fellows also confirmed that the series will be using the original series score.

Casting[]

Kate Godfrey will voice the title character, Trevor Devall as will reprise his as Dukey and Mr. Henry Teacherman, James Arnold Taylor will reprise his role as Hank Anchorman, Mr. Mittens, Dark Vegan and Hughey Test, Josie's father, Ryan Alessi and Nathan Janak will voice male versions of Susan and Marry Test, and Kellie Shanygne Williams as Gina Winslow, mother in law named after Laura Winslow from Family Matters.
